I understand this app is not supposed to be medical advice but if you are paying for information at least it should be accurate I ended up having to go to the doctor anyway for something that was common and easy to diagnose and cure Basically I payed double I would say skip this and just go see your doctor     Bad Diagnostic

This is the quickest access to dermatologist one can get in my area it can take weeks to months to get an appointment longer if you need a referral The advice is not free nor is it super cheap but within a copay range In my case it was 100 correct And thats what I needed quick accurate advice on an annoying ailment                 Nice

I had a skin rash on my neck and so I found this app within the appstore I was desperate so I downloaded it I have never ever seen a dermatologist in my entire life but using this app made the whole process easier and I was able to get a quick diagnosis and some information on methods to treat the rashes that I was experiencing                 Quick and Simple to use

The description of this app said absolutely nothing about this being a paid app but as soon as you submit pictures when prompted to do so they asked me for 2499 Another guy on here said they wanted 40 from him so I guess they just make it up randomly by guessing how hard it would be to diagnose Very displeased by this A first opinion shouldnt be offered then demanded payment for     Lies

I got this app because Im super busy with work and often dont have time to go to the doctor for every little thing This app made it easy to diagnose I just had to snap a couple pics and I could go about my day The results came back quickly and I was able to treat the issue fast Highly recommended                 so helpful and convenient

I sent my case and paid via app store which charged my credit card On the app i can view my case and the fact it was answered but in order to view the answer it self i am asked to pay again I havent been able to view the answer and never got a refund Dont waste your time     jc

Submitted a suspicious mole to First Derm and they confirmed that it was basal cell carcinoma Was able to schedule a dermatologist appointment and had it removed                 Great service

Used this app while I was in Hong Kong for a weird rash I got while hiking and was able to get it taken care of                 Great tool for traveling

The doctor gave me two options of what it could be 1 An access 2 A possible basal cells cancer I was told if it did not get better in a week I should go in to see a dermatologist face to face I fact it was a basal cell and the dermatologist removed it the same day If I had not got this answer from this app I would probably have delayed my doctors visit                 Thanks saved me time

I was initially relieved after getting the following analysis from the folks at FirstDerm Based on the information and images submitted this is possibly a ABSCESS Abscesses are a collection of pus or liquid that has accumulated in a cavity under the skin as a result of a bacterial infection I consulted my dermatologist just to make sure She took a one look at it and said thats cancer You will notice that this app carefully hedges all of its evaluations with the disclaimer that they are NOT diagnoses and that the use of this app does not create a doctor patient relationship That may protect them legally but I would advise anyone who is contemplating using this app to think twice before trusting the analysis of any photographs you send them The fact that my dermatologist had only to take a cursory glance at the sore on my arm to correctly diagnose the lesion as cancer later borne out by lab tests may serve as a warning to others who are contemplating using the services of FirstDerm Legally I am sure they are on solid ground notice their careful use of the word possibly but this is a good example of lax regulation on the part of the US government because I think many people would take their evaluation at face value and take no further action thereby exposing themselves to the possibility of serious harm Caveat Emptor     Caveat Emptor

This app is advertised as free but the only thing free is the download If you want to actually use the app and get a response you have to pay for it My specialist copay is cheaper and obviously more reliable Uninstalling     Costs more than my doctor

The initial amount to submit your case is 25 but they allow you to submit one for free if you share with 5 of your friends I thought that was pretty cool and it worked I sent to 5 of my contacts and I was able to send my case in I havent received an answer yet just sent it but I am looking forward to hearing back from a doctor I recommend this app for people who are suffering from acne like myself                 Amazing

My mom had malignant miles and this would have been of great help I have very sensitive skin and since I have a family history and I find that this helps everyone keep an eye on their skin health I love it My husband used it and had a mole removed thanks to it                 This is close to my heart
