Frankly I buy all of the in app purchases with the app I find the piecemeal assembly of the developer s complete app a frustrating business model I buy all available additions with the app as I said a sentence ago but this wizard of a developer made an error in his last release and did not charge enough money to make his app fully functional and with this update he is turning off some of the app s functions and requires additional payment I don t know if my app is effected by this but I don t care retroactive fee increases just chap my hide             I am deleting the app because of the wording of this update grolaw

I purchased this s w to turn on my family room lights two hours before sunset It was so simple Then to my delight I found the app so much easier to use than the Hue app I totally migrated and no longer use the factory app Phillips must be embarrassed The learning curve is reduced about 95 I still use IFTTT to turn on my porch light right at sunset as you can only have one sunset timer setting due to the hub restriction                     IConnectHue Sunset Stream not good

I bought the iPhone version by mistake and then also bought iPad version figuring I can use the iPhone version on my iPhone But when I go to the App Store on my iPhone it wants yet another 4 99 Anyway I like the app so far although like the philips hue app itself the learning curve a little steep                 Buying app 2x like the app JDMom93

I m sorry about this one star but this app renames all groups on your hue bridge I created a new group and then saw that all my groups had been renamed making them inaccessible to other apps that were expecting them to have a certain name So this app will break some other Hue apps That s not nice     Renames all Groups on the Bridge Sarkonovs1234

Definitely the best Philips Hue app by far Two suggestions create a dimmer slider for the widget making it much easier to dim lights rather than tapping 5 7 times on the current dimmer Second in the groups section we should have the option to change the color or brightness for the entire group rather than one bulb at a time Great app in its entirety though excellent work                     Best hue app Suggestions Alexjstone

I ve been a fan of this app for the iPhone and have used it for a long time and supported the developer through purchasing just about everything he put out However the iPad app is a disappointment It still has many bugs and yes I realize I can report them but I don t want to purchase fairly expensive software only to then have to troubleshoot it The bigger issue is that the design just doesn t make sense in this format Why the small buttons when there is all this screen space on iPad Why use round buttons when an iPad screen is square         Buggy and not as good as the phone version J. Generally I don t rate apps that prompt for it but this is the best controller for my HUE lights I found There are some cool apps that do some innovative stuff and I m glad I bought a few of them And thankful for some of the cool free apps But THIS is the app that I reach for when I want to control my lights work with them as groups easily and quickly pick color and brightness                 Really good Buddy Lingus

I ve been using this app in every version for several years now and it is absolutely the best APP for controlling your HUE lights This APP does what Phillips has proven itself incapable of doing This APP makes the lights useable and worth the cost nothing else rivals it If you want to make the investment in these bulbs which I highly recommend then make the investment in this APP You will never regret it and nothing else comes close Spectacular in every way                     Best APP for HUE lights dMore1

Purchased this as a replacement for another app who s update rendered itself useless for my purposes We have over 40 hue lights accessed by multiple wall mounted iPads and iPhones This app is able to refresh light status without manually restarting the app Groupings and other presets are pushed to other devices automatically The other apps I had to manually adjust every app one at a time There are a few small visual glitches when switching between portrait and landscape mode but a restart fixes them I rarely change orientation so this is a non issue                     Minor bugs NinjAnthro

I ve been using iconnecthue for months It is my go to hue app Lights turn off when I leave and turn on when I come home in app purchase The new widget makes controlling the lights even more efficient Color picking and and light grouping is quick easy and intuitive The developer responds very quickly I highly recommend                     MUCH more functional them the hue App Frankdrizzo

The interface is a bit different better in some ways but not in others But it doesn t seem to offer new features that would warrant the cost You ll have to buy separate versions for iPhone and iPad even though they seem to do the same things I though from descriptions online that this app would support setting timers based on sunrise sunset but that s not the case             Not all that much different than the standard Hue app mx5mx51

This app is easily the best one out there for controlling your Hue lights Multiple rooms groups Fade timers Transitions to other presets Sleep settings The ability to program multiple fades on off with your Hue Tap I couldn t imagine my Hue lights without using iConnectHue Yes the price is more than an entry level app But how much did you pay for your lights again The iCloud sync for sharing settings between devices is a great touch Earlier version of app wasn t quite ready but now that all the kinks have been worked out I am beyond happy with this app                     The BEST app for controlling lights AKMpls
