HelloOOOooo Hey Hey Bought the app as for keeping track of things I categorize my iPad icons on pages and would put the iconMemo icon on that page as to locate stuff books for example with the diff E readers and also lists for things Performance wise means Internet and resizing txt work arounds not how I like it have done a new IOS security update have lost ALL my txt info and all iconMemo blank not sure if the update did this or just circumstance but not very pleased at all The idea of Internet workability and performance an issue too bad could have been a nice app my opinion         Not what I expected gaw2u

I can create the icon on my homepage but I cane type my note Tech support is VERY slow almost non responsive The app is not working at all As a matter of fact I un installed and re installed and the app icon thumbnail doesn t even show up on my home page but App Store says I can open it and search on iPad shows the app is installed and allows me to open it from there there is just NO thumbnail     Not working Rosemarie04921

I got this app because I like the idea of having the note on the screen but this app is definitely not worth 2 You can t actually create and edit a note in the app it takes you to the stupid website every time and there are no instructions so you spend a lot of time trying to figure out an app that is for a normally very simple function Definitely going to look for something else         Not worth 2 Star4785688

This app turned my iPad and iPhone into very expensive paperweights I wanted something to visually sort my Home Screen icons and this did the trick at first Then memos started to randomly disappear and clone Next came a frozen white screen Then a black screen from which I could not escape as every reboot procedure requires access to the touch screen Siri was no help I couldn t restore my iPad because I could not access settings to turn off Find My iPad Thank goodness it was still on my wireless network I had to wipe it remotely as though it were lost Unfortunately the restore process sends an access code to your other iOS device Since my phone had auto downloaded the same app it was also just a brick with Wi Fi I have spent two days just wiping and reconfiguring my mobile devices and I m only halfway done The first thing I did was come here to review the app that ruined my weekend     Brick ified my iPad and iPhone KJBT35

I m using IconMemo to label my home screens something Apple should have provided in the OS but didn t DimerHunton misunderstands how the app works It s not needlessly complicated and no other to do list app does what this one does This app puts an icon a sticky on the home screen desktop It does that by creating a bookmark and letting you treat that bookmark like a very small sticky note It s a workaround to a missing feature and it s an inspired idea The only reason I don t give it 5 stars is that sometimes the app gets confused I have 5 home screens and therefore 5 icon memos But I had to recreate and move several of them several times because they kept getting mixed up I would set the text on memo 3 and memo1 would change instead Most disconcerting However given that Nothing Else in the store does what I wanted i e labels for the home screens I m willing to have a small inconvenience I ve written to the developer to outline the issues I had and hope he can address those in an update                 What I was looking for vlb-cfcl

Let me state i do not know the developer and i have not received any compensation for this review i purchased it and am a user of it I ve only had this for a short while but what an awesome app I have a number of Note apps I have a few Sticky apps I wanted something that I could easily leave a memo on my home page or my lock screen I did not want to have to take new pictures and then add it or whatever hoops they made me go through This app lets you add an icon just like you do for your favorite web sites Then you get a choice of color Click it it takes you to their site you save the icon to your iPad they add you text Pinch to change the font size You are of course limited with your text due to the fact that it is an icon the same size as every other icon you have My icon memos are sitting in my home screen where I will see it as soon as I open my iPad It is brilliant A few things I would like to see in an update if you are reading The ability to type directly onto the icon without going to your web page This limits me to making memos only when I have Internet access The ability to center or R or L justify I m interested mostly in center It makes my brain feel better when I look at it When I finish entering my text on a memo and click add it automatically defaults back to the app I have to close it to move on Let me open it if I want Thanks for a great app                     Brilliant IconMemo MontanaMuse
