This is a great app now also working for Os7 It is very easy to use for people with disabilities and their care givers andor therapists and can be personalized to the clients or therapists needs Its the best and cheapest app for offering choices and providing nonverbal kidsadult with disabilities an easy way to express their choices needs and feelings music therapist
Their web site says works with iPad cant find it anywhere for iPad just for the iPhone not for iPad

I bought the full version of this for my autistic son Its nothing more than an empty shell of a simple menu structure which you have to fill with your own pics and audio I paid 799 for something which could have been developed by a 12 year old in an hour Even for free this is overpriced as the menu system is nonintuitive to navigate Dont waste your time on this app Mr

I just got this App and then paid for the awesome upgrade I had to delete and then reload the App because I was having problems recording Now that I went into my purchased apps and put it back on my iPhone it doesnt show the upgrade I paid for I LOVE this app but dont want to pay for it twice The contact us for customer support is not available Help Please
As a developmental specialist working with infants and toddlers with special needs this app is perfect It is so simple to add the picture and audio within seconds for a child to begin to communicate This is a perfect app as a first step into AAC with simple pictures of your childs favorite toy or foods The price is great too So easy to use

Its hard to give a positive review when there really isnt much to review No sound so how can I tell if the sound would be adequate for my child If she is using this to communicate to others then they would have to be on top of her to know what she is saying My daughter lost interest right away too much limited access
Why can I not change the photos in the categories I go to the website to contact them but that doesnt work either My son will only understand the pictures of items he knows not the ones that are shown I purchased the full version and Im very unhappy it I need help with this Why isnt this working

Its not shown above in the screenshots but as soon as you look at this app on your iphone theyre trying to get you to buy the upgrade No audio and very limited categories comes with this free version the full version seems to be US2699 Upsell to a paid app

This app has great potential and the full version is reasonably priced It may not have all the features of some of the more expensive communication apps but it has the ability to customize the app for your situation I am using the app with my Autistic son The app will work with the iPod Touch If you are like me and do not have the newest generation of the iPod touch you will need to import your pictures and use an external microphone I do wish that the app had more categories and more items per category I have contacted the developer and he said that is something he may consider in a future update Good for individuals with Autism
Im so excited the update for iComm is out It works beautifully As a special education teacher I love this app and I recommend it all the time It is intuitive simple and families and kids love it It is a wonderful first step for children who may need AAC I understand there was some frustration that the update took some time but I am married to a software engineer who has to rewrite software every time there is an operating system update and unforeseen bugs that occur Sometimes good things take time and this app is well worth the wait Im thrilled to have it back IComm
I downloaded only the free version but I can see that this app can be an extremely useful tool for kids with special needs Bravo on creating such useful and relevant tools Very useful tool
