After initially being a bit confused by the huge variety of techniques available iColorama has become my Go To app for photo modification I do use many others for creating art but nearly always start and usually finish here Teresita has done a terrific job and keeps on building the capability of this brilliant app                 So versatile but prepare to get in a learning mode

I love this app I used you use two or three apps to do the same thing I can now do with one When you get off into the presets and start to make adjustments the combination of effects you can produce is infinite                 Wow

We can only hope theres an upgrade soon because I otherwise love this app but the lag times are now off the chart        Does not play well with iOS 9

At first I thought this app was going to be to confusing for me for I am not very tech Savvy but their easy to understand videos and websites are very very helpful and practice does make perfect I have turned some family photos into master pieces I have had it shut down on me a few times in the middle of my work but Ive learned to save save save and Im sure that will get fixed so with that I still believe it deserves 5 starsThanks Liz                 Amazing and addicting

I think this would be a great app if the learning curve wasnt as steep as it is Needs a detailed user guide and how tos like Procreate Photoshop wasnt as hard to learn as this app is Also there is no link to developer website and support        Needs better tutorials and User Guide

This I without doubt the best art app I have used Its versatility is amazing I use it to work with photographs and also to create original artwork from scratch using a white canvas The originator of the app is wonderful to work with I really didnt know that I could have this kind of experience with an art app It truly is wonderful This continues to be the best art app Ive ever used UpdateAugust 20 2015 This continues to be an outstanding art App Get it                 This is the BEST Art App for working with photographs and painting

1 Theres much room for improvement in TEXT feature font size increase and decrease using pinch out and in font color not only color but also picture meaning that using another photo to color the text I often have to make the font in black then save it and then import it as a mask then use BLEND and then choose another photo in the camera roll well its quite a painful process not convenient at all adding multiple texts before saving or even allow users go back and edit after applying Please take a look at Font Candy app they do very good job in font and text 2 Selection not only brush but also lasso tool magic wand tool color range and other common tools to select 3 Clone stamp its quite a basic tool for a wonderful app like yours 4 Improve the ADJUST to be honest your ADJUST is not powerful at all my photo even gets worse after using that feature for example please add selective color color balance curve blend if or apply image and your app will be outstanding in the field for sure 5 Allow users to edit after applying or its even better if it has HISTORY features automatically save but users can always go back to edit 6 I really hope that you can upgrade the app interface some day using more modern gestures for example the one at the present has too many bars to adjust Every time I try to use hard features that need patience to wait like lazy mask compose other auto brushing it crashes and the repetition process is so much painful Anyway thank you for making this great app hope it will be much smoother                 Suggestions for next updates

I could see where this app might not be for everyone Its tremendously versatile with a wide range of tools but it takes time and effort on the users part to master them As a result more original and unique effects are possible Its a great tool for serious artists                 More than Out of the Box Results

While my love of image manipulation apps has not reached the same level of intensity as music apps I do mess around with quite a few and this one deserves some recognition The blend modes offer a great deal of fine tuning and the brushes are great fun It even excels at fine tuning and adding those more subtle finishing layers With the recent updates I have noticed some crashes associated with many of the otherwise unparalleled pixel effect modes I hope these can be addressed in the next update because they are amazing and an essential aspect of iColoramas awesomeness In the meantime I will be playing around with those super cool new presets           One of the best but a bit buggy at the moment

I would recommend this one if you are experienced with image editing or at least willing to spend time to explore and have fun discovering whats possible Its UI lacks the polish of many newer apps but its functionality and insane feature set more than make up for it My only complaint is that its in desperate need of a decent manual with proper written documentation                 Powerful image editor rich with features

UpdateAugust 25 2015 I have spent thousands of hours working in iColorama and will spend thousands more I have now finished 1365 portraits all done in iColorama all were pure pleasure and enriching challenges I love iColorama Read on for my earlier reviews of iColorama It just gets better all the time Bravo to the developer iColorama is THE app for working with photography and painting This is a combination of the tools one would dream of having in a darkroom and studio It is deep delicious and constantly impressive It may be a little overwhelming at first because there are so many options and variables but there is plenty of help to be found from within the app Watch Jerry Jobe and Heide Hoffmans tutorials The community on Facebook is terrific for inspiration and learning The developer is extremely engaged and clearly passionate about iColorama art and excellence I have finished over 1150 serious portraits made almost completely in iColorama inspired by the serious fun and limitless tools Once again thank you for the hard work and intelligence invested in this terrific app Pure love                 Deep and Delicious

A steep learning curve but full of surprises              Worth the trouble

I dont foresee a time when this app will fall below 5 s Anything you could possibly do in advanced image editing except maybe 3D stuff Ive heard the critique that its not very intuitive but ya know when I first picked up Adobe Photoshop v35 it wasnt that intuitive either of course these things change just stick with it and do the thing you know the thing that you were gonna do                 keeps getting bettermomentum to do the thingoœ
