iCody WiFi Barcode Scanner

Ive just bought this app and followed all the instructions but it doesnt scan a simple barcode Im very disappointed I just want my money back     Dont waste your money

Please fix When you select Captuvo SL22 as your scanner you cannot go into the settings without the app crashing           Settings for Captuvo SL22 sled

Scanner works well scans all the different barcodes I could want quickly and plays a helpful sound to Let you know it was successful I use it for inventory though So it would be helpful if you could scan a barcode initially as a location and then all subsequently scanned barcodes as being a part of that location                 Great

This app is fantastic I have been able to build a custom web interface to interact with this app in kiosk mode and turn my iPhone into an awesome inventory machine Worth twice its price for my time saved                 The best and most customizable

I couldnt get this app to work so I sent a message to support then sent another then sent 2 tickets asking for tech help But I got NO response from them at all     NO support

This app does not work at all After spending two hours playing around with the settings uninstalling reinstalling emailing back and forth with support the app turned out to be a complete waste of money It is an expensive app and it should really just work but it wont synch to the computer at all Extremely frustrating     does not work

No customer service response A few issues so far 1 Selecting a function in Workflow does not work on the iPad Better explanation of the workflow is needed 2 Why limit the app to one input field 3 When using iPhone 5S I cannot scan smaller thin barcodes I can scan the same barcode instantly using my older iPad with a not as good quality camera I blamed it on the phones camera at first but then I decided to take a regular picture of the same barcode with the same 5s iPhone The saved photo was clear and sharp and every bar even the thinnest ones was there Please fix as it is much easier to carry the phone around than the iPad        OK but

I had 180 chromebooks to scan into a spreadsheet This app had no trouble scanning the smaller asset tag for my school district but would not scan the chromebook serial number not off the machine nor off the box I spent 799 for this purpose only and it was a waste of my money If youve got simple smaller barcodes itll work although its slower than a traditional USB barcode scanner but if you are going to be scanning a lot of things or have barcodes that are larger as in 16 character dont waste your time or money        Not Impressed

This app could be great if they supported it 8 dollars for no support is a joke Reached out several times     Pay 8 and they cant even answer basic questions

The scanner is pretty amazing and the camera does a pretty great job of seeing all 1D Barcodes once you get in the swing of things you can scan around 15 barcodes per minute The features that we really love is the integration with thetis which lets the information transmit to a keyboard emulator on your computer The transmit to webpage is amazing and after a couple of hours we had it talking and responding to our server with live data Really great App                 Fantastic Work

My first experience was pretty disappointing as the crashes frequently on my iOS 51 new iPad Also it has very annoying glitches with its ability to rotate accordingly to tilting of the iPad I experienced crashes in 2 instances 1 When trying to manipulate with the field of view to make its size just enough to fit nothing else but barcodes 2 When trying to use the app on the iPad being in the upright position supported by its triangularlyfolded Smart Cover I bypassed the issue 1 by switching off the blinders at all and scanning barcodes with the entire field of view Issue 2 is impossible to bypass as the above described position of the iPad is the best for scanning barcodes of books it is much easier when the iPad is stationary so you do not need to manipulate with pretty heavy device aweigh I do want to be able to use this app in this manner but it readily crashes sometimes right after launch sometimes after 1015 scans In another orientations the app looks to be stable until you try to limit the field of view with blinkers So I tried to launch it in a vertical orientation and then to put the iPad in the aforementioned upright position Well it works but camera very often starts to behave finicky so that it is not possible to use it intuitively without a guesswork in what mysterious direction you should move a book to fit a barcode in the window It is like as if you would have ended up in a parallel world and found out that when you try to write something on a paper in a way you are used to your words come out mirrored and flipped upside down So there is a huge glitch with its orientation capabilities and it seems that the apps stability is affected by it Now there are huge plus of this program it really does what it is intended to do It scans barcodes recognizes and seamlessly transfers them to anywhere your cursor is on you PC I did not test it on Mac On condition that you install on PC the Thetis software I chose Bonjour protocol and automatic connection I love its ability to convert if possible EAN13 into ISBN10 If there are EAN13 and EAN5 together it reads and recognizes both of them and then creates 2 separate entires for each So in this regard the app is perfect Also I like that the developers publish updates regularly unlike their competitors Bottom line is that the app is useful interesting promising and could be a pleasure to work with once the glitches are resolved Dear developers please resolve It is just not serious when the app crashes all the time Hope that you will not leave my review without attention and make you app the one that rocks                 I have raised the score for it from 1 to 4

We always used usb barcode scanners until I found this app It was easy to setup using Appthologys Thetis program and connecting via bonjour straight from our iPhones to our Macs However I did notice a few barcodes that scanned incorrectly when the camera was trying to focus So keep an eye on your codes as you scan them Regardless of that Im extremely pleased with this program and the time it saves my company                 Awesome app Works 999 of the time

Im an IT guy who needs to keep an inventory of everything my shop purchases and deploys This app is perfect The only thing Im having a problem with is certain long barcodes like the 22 digit barcodes on Acer monitors                 No reason to look for anything else

This app worked perfectly in the past The latest update does not allow you to connect the app to a PC the PC app crashes and the iPhone app says connection reset by peer Developer has not responded to multiple support requests Wish I could roll back to prior version which works fine     App is Broken

Do not get this update we use icody for our business and been unable to log into Thetis it does not let us put in the IP address we have emailed icody many times and no response the phones that did not get the update are working perfectly     Problem with Thetis

The new version of the software when a post occurs will rip off the Server portion of the URL This causes an error on a lot of sites as the site location is not preserved     Bug in new version

This app works well The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that sometimes it will not find my computer I then have to completely close it down and then reopen it sometimes more than once Besides that hiccup it works well              Good app

Just installed the new update and now my Mobilogics iScan laser bar scanner will not show up in external scanners so I cant scan with it Also I cant access website for http scans Everything worked fine in previous version of iCody app     New update trouble

I installed this app to help me with inventory It works perfect I tried some of the other apps out there and they dont work dont waste your time with those apps and just purchase this one Its well worth the                 Love it

I agree with the other reviews The app does not connect to my laptop I wrote an email to support waited a week and have not received even an acknowledgement Horrible waste of money I spent 2 full days trying to connect to my laptop I want my money back     App does not work

Nice app Our only problem is that the app regularly loses the connection to the iPDT380 Mobilogics scanner We must force quit iCody then reopen the app Sometimes it reestablishes the connection Strangely other times it does not This is a critical fix that needs to be addresses We are using brand new iPods and Mobilogic scanners with the most recent iOS and iPods intended for use with the Mobilogic scanners              BC

This is a really great App it simply works over the expected I tried it through the Internet and works perfectly too as a suggestion it would be great if for the IP address you could give a name as well as the numbers                 Great App

I work for Comcast and weve deployed over 1200 mobilogic iscan devices to our field techs using icody We cannot access internal sites using VPN it just hangs and does not give us an authentication prompt Plus if we can get to a site we can only scan in one barcode Cannot scan in additional barcodes Need some fixes fast     Problems with new version
