The Hughs Allergy Scan is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting different languages: English, German. It weighs in at only 9.0 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.3 has been released on 2014-11-19. First Id like to thank all those who have successfully installed and are currently using our Allergy Scan App Id also like to thank those who have provided us with very specific comments via our Feedback feature which will allow us to deal with the inevitable Bugs We sincerely appreciate your patience and are committed to providing you with a very useful and indispensable tool To date we have noticed some of the Bugs have been dealt with when the user has upgraded their phone to IOS 601 Fixes are forthcoming Thanks Hugh PS I rate this app 4 stars because it works great on my old 3GS phone and I know there is always room for improvement From the Developer
I use this app all of the time for my wife who has a Gluten allergen I just scan the product while I am at the grocery store and see if there is a match for her allergen profile and if any alternative products exist if there is a match The product database doesnt have every product in my grocery store but I see they are adding more products every day I highly recommend this app for people who have food allergens or who have family members with food allergens Awesome Update with Version 20

I had really high hopes for this product We have just gone gluten free and this is exactly what I was looking for Unfortunately the first thing I scanned was a box of gluten free chex and the app told me it had both gluten and wheat in it Guess Im on the hunt for a new app Disappointed
Ive tried three times to sign up and it keeps crashing It also asks weird personal questions like height weight and birthday Strange Fix the bugs Cant tell if it works cant get past signing up

Ive got two young kids and am constantly having to find snacks that are allergy free to take to school which is an allergy free zone This tool helps me to achieve this effectively saving time Thanks for this free tool Great tool for my family
Your product has a lot of potential I have found some serious flaws I selected a wheatgluten allergy on 3 different times the app isnt saving this information in order to warn me Also in the history tab when I select an item for further information your app crashes I use this from an iphone 4S If these things were to be fixed you would have a 5 star rating from me disappointing

This is what Ive been waiting for This has seriously helped with my allergies It is so easy you use Its amazing to be about to shop with the comfort of knowing that none of my allergies will be in these foods Ok some of the foods are not in the selection but most of them are I love it Lia
my son is allergic to almost everything this app has been very much needed I think there are some flaws he is allergic to milk and nuts but when I scan Reese cup and Hershey bar they both came back good to eat idk be careful hope app is correct

I have found the application increasingly better to use over time Perhaps I am just a more experienced user or I anticipate that more and more products are being added to the database I also like the history feature to remind myself of the results of prior searches Convenient Helpful

When it actually worked only on the first day I downloaded it I tested with products I knew had my allergen and it didnt find the product The database must be very small After day 1 the app has crashed every time I have tried to use it What a useless waste of space Worst app ever
The app crashes while editing the profile information I tested several labels a cereal box a roll of cinnamon rolls and a yogurt The library did not have the items listed I like the premise because my food allergies are extensive and the list allows you to choose more than the common allergens However the app doesnt work yet Bugs to fix

My daughter has many allergies including yeast tree nuts shellfish etc this app is great Allergies
The newest version of this app is great Thanks for the fixes they have taken care of my issues Contacting you first using the give feedback button is a great option it allowed me to voice my issues before I wrote a review Your about section helps explain how well your app researches a product It is comforting to know that this app is so thorough Keep up the great work and THANKS Thanks for such a usable app
This crashes every time I try to scan something Also Ive tried about 10 times to add new profiles one of the features of this app if that you are supposed to be able to manage multiple people with different allergies but none of the profiles are ever saved This app has some serious flaws Dont bother downloading Crashes repeatedly and doesnt save new profiles
