I cant see any listings or anything I love the way i can choose what I want in a house but there are no houses that I can browse through Do I really have to have an existing agent to use this app     Where are the listings
Not a very good app     Confusing
I was excited to download this and help organize my house hunting photos and notes into one place The design and layout are nice and simple and the concept is great too Sadly its the execution of their photo features that brought my review down to a mere two stars Hopefully this was an early build and the dev will make some vast improvements but right now this wasnt worth my 3 Cons Sometimes when I take photos I get a message saying they were saved but when I go check theyre nowhere to be found Theres also no rotate function the default fir the photo viewer is portrait orientation So if I take a photo with the phone in landscape mode then I have to turn my head sideways to look at it afterwards No ability to upload photos from my phone or link to them from an external website Realtors often have better pics up than I take with my camera phone and Id like to have the option to add those in Instead the only option is to take a new photowhich left me taking photos of the realtors photos pulled up on my monitor Cant delete photos Oops took a blurry photo well Im stuck with it Cant view full size photos At least I cant figure out how Clicking the thumbnails doesnt seem to work Pros Laid out well mostly intuitive to use Graphics are nice They may be clipart but theyre attractive and used discreetly Easy to update and score different features while touring a house which is what the app is all about Feature updates Id like to see Id like the option to put in the year built instead of doing the math to put in how old the house is Saves me a step Ability to link to the realtors website listing so I dont need to bookmark it elsewhere        Great potential but falls flat
Nice app but still not using its potential Costs like condominium fees rent value etc that are important dont have fields in this tool Also unfortunately you cant see the houses in a map It is also a pity users cannot log in another device pc etc to see and organize the information           Important features missing
Ugly app poorly designed crashed 4 times in the first minute of use Deleted     Crashes a ton
We started house hunting and found this and another app to try out This is the best one and after practicing its fun to use I love the way this one gives a score on the ratings you give different virtues of the home You can also add new ones to your liking which is fantastic You can now delete pics and properties which both I noticed from reading the reviews were a problem before this latest update I wrote to the developer about two things that would make this great and to my surprise I got a response in less than an hour On a Sunday morning better yet And not just an automated message he actually responded and wrote a few paragraphs about future plans and appreciating the purchase of the app Like the other review said be sure to save the notes that can be a little offputting if you hadnt noticed it Maybe it would autosave in the next update along with sending the pics via email with the listing info Great app Im glad I got it                 Great useful and fun app Excellent support
If you read the one and two star reviews everything they say is true I wish I would have put more weight on those reviews before buying the app I mostly wanted this app to manage notes and photos as I viewed homes Unfortunately the photo functionality of this app is horrible There is no way to view the photos you take in full screen mode All you can see are tiny square previews The small size is bad but the fact that the are square distorts all the photos I followed the app support link before writing this review but the link goes to an add link farm web page I hope the developer releases an update that fixes the photo issues If they do I will rerate     Good Idea Bad Implementation
Dont understand the bad reviews This app made us realize our dream house We are now under contract thanks to this app Its amazing                 Amazing app
waste of money     did not work
Good idea but the whole app is designed to create more work than it saves I was hopeful but this app is not even close to being a replacement for a pad of paper and your phones camera For instance while gathering photos and data together to correspond with each house sounds like a good idea you have to navigate through four or five screen buttons each time you would like to take a photo Click the photo button then area interior and then hit the shutter button and then hit accept the photo and then hit a button to clear the notice that your photo was taken You end up spending more time fiddling with the camera than looking at the house The absolute worst issue with the program is that there is no way to delete a house off your list Once its there with all of its photos and data its there until you wipe the program entirely off your phone Actually even worse than that is the fact that you cant export the photos outside of the program This is a big deal because the photos can only be viewed as thumbnails less than 1 inch square So dont worry that its a pain to take photos because you cant really see them later without a lupe or a microscope While you can only view them in microscopic form the app doesnt bother to downsize them in the memory so you can quickly and conveniently waste a couple of gigs of memory of high res photos you cant view I see hope for the concept but this version is a rough beta at best     Frustratingly incomplete
Ive been using this app to help organize notes and pictures of properties we look at during our house search It does a great job of organizing that data and making it easy to input notes and scores of each house This app has a lot of great features easily fill in the address of a new property with GPS flexible rating scheme so you can score properties on any category youd like easily take photos for each property quickly enter notes using their quick text tool or by typing The only drawbacks is that the app can be a little bit buggy and the interface needs to be cleaned up a bitbe sure you hit the Save button after typing in a note because it wont do it automatically My biggest complaint is that while it is trivial to share all of your home rankings in a nice format via email the app does not currently export the notes that youve written This would be an easy feature to add and would help a lot for reviewing homes from another computer or for sending to our realtor Fortunately Ive had several email exchanges with the developers who are responsive to questions and are planning to fix some of these issues I hope they will soon              Well thought out features
Ver 114 on iPod 4th gen PROS This does make it easier to organize and keep track of your listings When connected to WiFi iPod the location feature to fill in the address works well CONS The photos you take will not be your Photos area on your Ipod of iPhone The photos saved in app will be of low quality and with no way of making them bigger or flipping them Once the photos are in the app you cannot send them via any method Period The user interface could be more logical for entering your listingproperty           Needs an Update
I bought it reading about the feature list But as soon as I accessed the feature list and tried to work with it it crashed Cannot get this junk to work Im still on iOS 5 And it says it is not compatible with ios6 and I have not yet upgraded I expected it to work     Nonstarter Crashes Useless
I guess I should have read up on this app more I dont have time or a realtor who is willing to look t every house Im interested in IN PERSON With it being 2012 I often use the Internet to look up potential homes I was hoping this app would streamline all the online listings and upload photos details address etc from the the online listings You mean I have to do all the work myself for people looking for an app that is essentially a notepad and photo album I dont know why youd pay 4 dollars but its not outrageous to pay that amount either        Not intuitive
I downloaded this app to help us pick a home to rent The photos and features options allowed us to keep track organize and rate the many homes we looked at              Great for rentals too
Waste of money     Spend the money on a pad of legal paper
I downloaded this app to my Ipad and was very disappointed Paid 399 and all it did was crash when I tried to use the location pin I wrote a bad review and got a personal email back from the developers asking about specific problems They thanked me sent me a 500 Starbucks card and said the new version should fix the problem The update fixed my problem and we used the app this past week while house hunting After looking at 30 homes this app made sense of them all We found our dream home and are under contract Thanks House Hunter I give you 5 stars                 Great App
I was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews but took a chance anyway and was pleasantly surprised I have only been using this a short while and the app is great at keeping everything organized I like the scorecard piece because it helps sort houses based upon whats important to me My favorite is the photo piece though because it helps me remember the details from each house Keeping pictures grouped by address is really nice For those that say you cant view full screen pictures actually you can All you have to do is tap the address of the property while in the photo set page and it opens up the pictures to full screen The directions are listed at the top of the photo page in the box I do think the photo viewer could be a little more intuitive it seems like clicking on the picture should open the full screen picture but it works so not a big deal in my opinion It would also be nice to be able to share photos not just scores and features hopefully this will get added I would also like a way to pick which house scores I want to share instead of send all the house scores At the end of the day though the app is a great tool for someone trying to keep organized while looking at a lot of homes              App works great including pictures
I was excited to use this bc we were looking at about 10 houses in one day However aside from not being aesthetically pleasing I didnt find the app to be very useful It was hard to set slider scales in the feature list or in the score card Adding houses isnt super intuitive Picture viewer glitchy can only see first photo when viewing full screen I ended up just writing notes on the printouts the realtor gave me In my opinion this app is not worth the money        Ehh
After looking at so many houses I always find it so hard to remember all the pros and cons of each Taking this app along fixed that problem With the pictures and rating system Im totally organized Love sharing the info with my realtor too Great job so far very well thought out                 All I ever wanted and then some
I love the concept philosophy most of the execution Prioritizing adding features is nice I couldnt find a way to delete or edit an added feature where I wanted to change the category Hopefully they will add editing features           Not bad but unforgiving
Was initially very disappointed with the app not functioning on latest IOS version Contacted Support and got immediate response Was kept up to date on the resolution progress The issue is fixed now Looking forward to my House Hunt Yay                 EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been using this app for the past couple of months while looking for houses Before finding this app I had so many pieces of paper and files all over the place and TOTAL CONFUSION There are so many great things about this app and a couple of tweaks It is easy to use and very intuitive I didnt have to read a huge manual to get going on it Before heading out we rated everything on the features pagethe things that are most important to us This is where taking the emotion out of the process comes in to play Everything looks great or maybe it just a couple of things that are fabulous but its 3 hours away from work kids schools etc Like a marriageits about compromising on certain things that arent too important and sticking to your guns on the MUST HAVES A few of the reviews state the pictures of the houses arent that great Please remember your cell phone or iPad are not the best cameras I used my iPad to tour houses because I wanted to be able to quickly add my notes in an easy format The iPads camera is terriblebut to be able to quickly and easily add notes it wasnt that big of a deal to me This app is more geared for use with an iPhone not an iPad A tweak that the developers are already working on is the ability to sync your iPhone and iPadtake your phone instead of your iPad The mortgage calculator is a great feature to quickly come up with a general idea of what your payment would be Tweak add a line to include taxes andor HOA fees Is this a deal breaker Absolutely not After looking at so many houses while my husband was out of town all we had to do was sit down together and he was able to virtually visit the houses with me Our broker was so impressed with this app she cant wait to get her own and put it through the tests SoI would highly recommend getting this app Its fun intuitive easy to use and will keep you organized The developers are very responsive to your comments Great customer service on their end Keep up the good work                 Take the emotion out of house hunting with this app
When my husband first suggested that we use this app I was not really keen on the idea In fact while I did not say it to him I was downright opposed and just a little frustrated I did not really want some app telling me which houses I liked and which ones I didnt However prior to using the app I liked every house because they each had a unique featurequality that appealed to me This made it hard to really compare them on equal terms let alone make a choice on one over another After using the app for a few days I have a new found appreciation for how the app helps to capture our feelings and put them into numbers Though we have only been using it a few days it does seem to help The app does seem loaded with lots of features that save time and organize the data Here are some of my favorite features so far Not really a feature but it is well laid out and organized It is pretty intuitive and easy to use I am one of thosegotta read the instructions type for everything yet I was able to navigate my way around pretty easily The scorecard is the main idea of the app and does help narrow down the list of contender homes For an emotional buyer yes I am one of those I was reluctant at first but this app does seem to be winning me over pretty quickly Its almost fun I think the quick notes feature is pretty nice as it greatly reduces the amount of time entering notes and has many of the common things you might say about the property It does not capture everything you might want to take down so you do still need to manually type in some notes The single page view for all the info on the house is pretty nice Being able to see your notes photos and house details is pretty convenient The main photo page is really helpful at comparing photos from each property Its also just cool to look at Oh and to see the photos full screen tap the address not the photo not intuitive but was in the help menusee that is why I like to read the instructions for everything Sharing data with our realtor I am not sure if our realtor loves or hates this feature LOL Actually she did mention having a clear priority listing of our wants was useful in helping her screen properties so I call this one a good feature Things that need improvement While I think there is always room for improvement and Katie Wilks points out some of those I personally dont think it causes the app to fall flat I think everything it does offer outweigh some of the short comings But here are what I think needs to be improved or added Not being able to delete a photo is an issue and should be added Likewise not having a horizontal view for the camera is another thing that should be added The ability to select a photo from the album would be really cool as would being able to use photos from the listing website GPS accuracy needs to be improved I have had to hit Get Location a couple of times before it got the address right on some properties Not sure if this is the apps problems or the service being used but either way would be good to fix it I have mixed feelings on MLS search capabilities We do most of our searching online and I dont think trying to search on such a small screen is all that useful but linking to the realtor website would be cool So there you have it Is it perfect No but it was surprisingly good and not as painful as I thought it would be Overall I think they did a really good job with the app Hopefully they will address some of the minor issues which would make it go from a 4 star app to a 5 star in my opinion              House hunting made easy or at least organized
Overall app seems good but I cant sync data from iPad to iPhone i have installed the app on both using my apple ID Ive entered data about homes i am interested in on my iPad and I want to take my iPhone to enter more data at open houses Why wont the data about the homes i have entered on my iPad show up on my iPhone     Cant Sync iPad iPhone
This ap is easy to use and does almost everything I want it to There are only a couple things more I would wish for it I wish you could delete photos attached to a property without deleting the whole property sometimes I take bad pictures I also wish you could customize feature responses in the automatic notes area It would also be nice to be able to delete features Regardless this ap is great Im very pleased with it              Excellent
