The new platform and update is horrible They got rid of all my saved pages I was warned but I had 4 years of magazines Thanks Hearst Most importantly Photos cannot be zoomed in the cut and paste shows up randomly as opposed to the photo I want It s easier to just go the website and pin it from there I really enjoy HB but way to lose a longtime customer I m dropping my subscription New platform is horrible worthless Th1sNicknameISTaken

This new publishing platform MAZ is terrible I cancelled my subscription after 5 years because of it The pages don t render correctly and worst of all the advertiser s pages are set up to click through to their web page when you touch any part of the screen to move forward Once you get redirected you can t get back to the magazine and have to shut down the app With 70 of the magazine being ads it is not worth the frustration Terrible Wayhaven

This thing is terrible The last app upgrade I show for this ap was just last month July 2017 I ve been trying for four days to download my Sep issue but the app says I need to upgrade in order to download but there is no upgrade So I m stuck going in circles I love the magazine but every month it seems I d get it sooner if I just purchased it from a rack Makes no sense Hate this app Ecasilio

Both the vertical and horizontal viewing option on the iPhone do not allow the viewer to see an entire photo at once You have to swipe around to see the rest of the image if it is a larger horizontal image This doesn t make any sense to me and is seriously frustrating Even though the image would be smaller I would still like to have an option to see the entire image in one screen Cannot view entire photo at once Googtalk

haven t been able to use for about 6 months when i try to download a magaizne it says upgrade required when i try to upgrade the upgrade button is visible but light blue not usable so i can t access what i m paying for life is to busy for this kind of hassle frustrating unusable multi devices

I have been reading House Beautiful on Zinio Loved it For some stupid reason I thought I d try it directly from the publisher AWFUL Now I ll go back to Zinio because I love the magazine and just give up the price I paid Now if I can only get it to not auto renew next year Back to Zinio Patisgettingangry

I rarely write reviews but I thought I may be able to save a few of you 10 bucks This app is horrible to navigate doesn t download new issues automatically and trying to download the latest issue is a complete joke I will never buy this again and I ve had such a poor experience with it I don t think I would subscribe at all Didn t they have someone test out the app before they launched it Please find a better way of letting me download the latest issue without purchasing it Boo Don t Do It Cuteute

The magazine is as beautiful as my print version but there does not seem to be any way to highlight or favorite a page I m trying to eliminate the magazines all over the house but I am used to coming back to all my dog eared pages with my favorites This app is disappointing for that reason My Traditional Home subscription for iPad has all the options needed and I really enjoy that digital subscription Not perfect I love HB

Really No option to view the current issue in landscape Wide photos in the magazine need to be scrolled across the screen in the portrait view can never see the whole photo and there is a scroll to view label in the middle of the photo at all times Earlier issues had the landscape option Why get rid of a good thing I buy single issues occasionally This last issue was not money well spent I think I m going to delete this app No landscape option Dreaming Lizzy

Crashes constantly despite redownloading updating and rebooting my iPad Loved it until last 3 editions none do which Ive been able to read because of constant crashing No such problems with BHG or VF Crashes constantly

Almost every other digital magazine allows you access for free if you already have a paperhardcopy subscription BUT NOT HOUSE BEAUTIFUL I normally love this magazine I have a 2year paper subscription so I am astounded that HB would ask loyal customers to pay again to get the same content on the iPad FIX PLEASE Does not apply to paper subscriptions

I have been a subscriber to HB for a long time Having recently renewed my subscription and having just received the January 2013 issue I was excited to try out the iPad app the issue repeatedly boasts about I followed the instructions on page 6 of the magazine and was unable to get any of the images to scan and upload I was also disappointed to find that HB wants me to pay again for the same exact content I already have in the traditional format What a waste Whats the point

This is a disappointing app because you cant even view the cover of the current or past issues unless you purchase it nor can you preview any of the pages inside the magazine Dont install it Dont bother

I already have a subscription for the hard copy I will not pay anything to get this on my iPad No other magazine I purchase requires me to pay for the hard copy and also pay for the soft copy Dont download it
