The app is not an app for the ipad It might run on iPad 2 I have an original iPad with up to date software I had to go to the website to get the additional video lessons The stated price in the App store is 11 99 On the website it is 24 99 they make you pay with a credit card or PayPal You are given a code which you enter into the field provided on the web page upon doing so you are suddenly notified that you have 90 days access to the videos The videos will not play on your iPad unless you have the Flash enabled Proton Browser What should be an App that you own is in reality a time limited video access through a third party browser On the web page when you click on the iPad AppStore block you are given a description and a QR code block I had to get software to read it When I did for my iPhone I was told it wouldn t run on the phone I scanned the iPhone app code and it only took me to a page for the free 2 chapters The videos themselves are pretty good for vocabulary building though I think a familiarity with the the sounds and the alphabet is beneficial I ve only seen 2 of the videos and I think they are presented well from a vocabulary building refreshing point of view As for actual conversation or sentence building that remains to be seen                 Bait and Switch sage48
