I got it as a supplement to the Lingvosoft dictionary It doesnt feel as polished but it seems to have a broader and deeper lexicon I like it that the program notices which keyboard is active and selects its lookup direction accordingly I wish the culinary lexicon were bidirectional and wish to point out that I have seen the word for parsley spelled פטרוזיליה with a zayin rather than a samech The thing that holds me back from a 5 star rating mainly is the lack of polish in particular that string escape characters show up in the definitions Works well
This app works offline and searches English as well as foreign languages Im using the Hebrew I have an older OS and couldnt find anything decent that would let me install its applicable older version until I found this app I was mainly looking for a good Hebrew dictionary but was pleased to have the option of searching for words in English too The search is quick and easy to use Synonyms are shown as well Handy alternative to lugging tomes even when offline This app deserves all the rave reviews it is getting BEST DICTIONARY APP AROUND

Less of the traditional or poetic words are found in this app If you know your conjugations and roots of Hebrew words then youll do better But if youre into modern slang or conversational Hebrew you should have no trouble at all I use the app both ways Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew Better than others I have tried

This app is amazing You can put any form of any word and if it is not formally in the dictionary it usually shows up in the Example Sentences which are translated For instance the word לישן would not be in any dictionary because it is two words to sleep You would need to know that the root verb is ישן But not in this app It picks up the whole conjugation and shows an example sentence from the database Amazing

I use this app all the time It doesnt have every word I want and I wish it would link to an online HebrewEnglish dictionary but for general daily use on the street in Israel its great Great for onthego translation
