Not for the public anymore Subscription required now after free trial it is now apparently 40 but that information is not included in the app description Is it possible that your one Orca login subscription allows you to use all their apps Maybe but it doesnt say in the app description or in the app and there is no preview allowed before signing up and logon They are trying to get around paying Apples cut     Dont update broken now unless 40mo For Doctors only

Ive used these for a long time for free They keep getting better and they have added tons of stuff the subscription doesnt bug me because I know they will keep adding                 Still getting better

HeartDecide has some really impressive fully interactive 3D animations of a beating heart And the 3D rendered movies of heart related conditions and solutions look stunning They are a great tool for better understanding the heart And its all FREE                 Amazing visuals in a free app

The pictures and animation are beautiful This could be a tremendous asset to parents whose children are born with congenital heart defects 1 in 100 births makes it the most common birth defect With major heart centers performing complicated but miraculous surgeries that are saving many lives more people than ever are living with repaired or palliative repaired hearts Would you consider congenital defects in your conditions section My 12 year old son had three open hearts by age 2 for Hypoplastic left heart syndrome HLHS What a wonderful tool this app could be for all the families like ours Thank you                 Great ideahave a suggestion

I enjoyed all the Decide apps and learned a lot about the human anatomy without having to create a username and password Now since Orca Health owns the apps theyve changed to apps for medical professionals and not for the average person just wanting to learn That was the reason I downloaded the apps in the first place Time to delete them all     Was educational now Doctors only

505 Update When I was 8 I had open heart surgery Im now in the mid 30s and have been seeing the same cardiologist since I was 18 months Recently my cardiologist upgraded his office and technology He bought an iPad and started using this software to educate his patients He has a lot of patients who do not speak English as a first language so images and animations are particularly powerfulespecially when he has to use a translator In my case though my English is good enough I just did not understand what is a fairly complex condition I didnt understand it that is until he used this application to explain to me not only what my condition was but why surgery was necessary when I was 8 and what my longterm prognosis is Armed with that knowledge Ive done a better job adhering to his treatment recommendations I want to get as much mileage out of my faulty valve as possible before I have to have surgery again The longer I can put off surgery the better that technology will be when I eventually have to have it Like they say knowing is half the battle                 I have subaortic stenosis

My son has a heart problem Ive accompanied him to countless doctors appointments and was at his side before and after he had open heart surgery HeartDecide helped me to understand the heart and his heart problem far better than any one of those explanations from numerous doctors and nurses Love this app                 Helped me to understand the heart better than ever before

It looks like Orca has really been hard at work This is a great update The user interface is beautiful clean and simple Its great to see some new content and additional conditions The 3D looks beautiful and its great to see the heart in relation to the entire circulatory system Some of the videos also have audio The app is now powered by Harvard so it looks like they recieved a lot of great content This is a must download app if you want to learn more about the function of your heart as well as the many conditions in which you can avoid I hope all of their existing apps get an overhaul just like HeartDecide                 GREAT UPDATE

This app has great short videos explaining many different cardiac problems and procedures As an RN I love this app This app would be great for patients undergoing procedures Please make similar apps for neuro and lungs                 Awesome simple informative

This app has greatly effected the way I operate my practice for the better My patients leave my office with a deep understanding and thorough education of their condition and I spend less time answering needless questions By far the best patient education tool I have ever used on the iPad and in general Fantastic work                 Best patient education tool on the iPad
