Listening to location stories is my favorite way to discover a new place And recording audio markers as we go creates a nice rapport with people at places we like along the way I like searching for a place on Hear Planet and listening even after we get beyond the range of the mobile network Great update Definitely the future of travel

Super useful for getting connected to your local scene local history and local services I like how they chunk down the information Two examples I sat with my son for an hour just hearing about all the places within 2 miles of our house Fascinating for both of us I had friends in town and we drove through and walked around different parts of Marin I did a little research beforehand on HP and used it on our tour Made it more interesting for everyone and I looked like I was smart and engaging Good stuff Downright useful

I just paid 499 for this app and instead of finding Museums in our area I am getting storage companies pet stores etc I could get this with free Mapquest Not what I thought it would be Disappointed

Weve enjoyed HearPlanet since it first came out and still use it regularly It is particularly great on road trips we can play the audio through the car speakers to learn about the area we are driving through without taking our eyes of the road A fabulous app overall though I wish it was Universal and supported the iPad natively Fabulous for road trips
The near me finds things across the country Addresses are not included It seems the featured items just keep coming up regardless of what you ask for I have just downloaded and installed this app but so fat it seems almost useless Terrible
