As a ham who is relatively inexperienced at Field Day I found this app very helpful to help with our logging I love all the great references and converters and such in the tools as well I will be happy ifwhen you support full export of Field Day entries in more than just email of a plain text to convert to CSV but I think this app is superior Thank you Deb W0DLK                 Useful for Field Day

One of the best collections of tools for the amateur radio operator that I have seen Well implemented o the iOS platform Great to have them with me all the time Its only limits are the result of having to use the iPhone input capabilities I use the log while operating mobile as an alternative to trying to write things down and load contacts to my real computer later Thanks to the author for a fine app                 Great set of ham tools

I picked up this app before I was licensed in hopes it would help me study Then after being licensed the app has helped with every aspect I have needed it for This app is loaded with every conceivable option It is my main goto app when out of the shack and sometimes when in the shack Excellent performance on my iPhone 4 If youre looking for a do all can do app here ya go The app is constantly updated with any new FCC changes and or repairs on app bugs which I have not seen any bugs in quite sometime Ive had this app for almost 3 years and loved every minute of its use Get it Youll be VERY glad you did 73 John K0RVB                 The Best Ham App EVER

Really like the way it works Please all cloud support so I can log using multiple devices The iPad is easier but I always have the phone                 Very nice

This is a very good app with loads of features but I have one little piddlin gripe In the Band Plan feature where it lists the different mode and license class segments of a band such as Extra Advanced General SSB etc it designates a limited CW segment Ask any CW op and see what kind of answer you get There is no CW segment because CW is allowed all across the HF bands I knowpetty complaintbut thats all I can find wrong with this fine app                 Great app with one complaint

I use HamLog at the home shack on my iPad and portablemobile on my iPhone Its a great logging app but I use the other tools as much or more than the log I love the cloudsync feature so that I can keep both of my devices up to date with the same contacts in each Some features Id like to see added are the ability to set favorite tools so I dont have to scroll through the ones I dont use as often and a countries worked tool so I can quickly access a text list of all the DX in my log There is a countries distribution chart already but I cant read the entire list of countries Thanks for a great app 73 de N1JI                 Great App for more than just logging

I love this app Seems Im mobile these days more than Id like so heres my suggestion Voice Recognition for the Phonetic alphabet It would be helpful for logging while on the go My call W5MTB using the voice feature on my iPhone I would say Whiskey Five Mike Tango Bravo The app would type the Phonetic Equivalent into the call sign for any call sign This could be extremely useful Let me know what you think 73 W5MTB                 Voice recognition

I had a problem with cloud sync and Nick was on it almost immediately He worked the issue back and forth with me via email It is very hard to find that kind of individualized support Highly recommend this app                 Great program and great support

I am surprised at how useful this app is beyond logging I actually downloaded this app to use as a reference database when I was at Dayton or other events Turns out the Utilities section is worth more to me than the database I have downloaded a number of ham utility apps that were not worth the electrons they are written on Those series of tools goes well beyond what is expected Certainly the best collection of probably a dozen tools anywhere I dont mean to understate the logging functions Its excellent given the constraints of the phones capabilities I do not have a Pigtail but I can imagine that when it is coupled with this app running on an iPad a ham could log a lot of QSOs without missing a PC based logging program I hope the authors add the ability to rotate to landscape format on all features The very small font of things like the list of HF Nets must be zoomed in portrait mode Great job                 Very helpful Add a star for six

Im surprised nobody has written this yet I use Aether on my Mac for logging so Im covered there However I use Hamlog quite a bit for all of the reference material and additional tools the author has added The DTMF tone generator azimuth calculator band plan reference etc all there in one spot is quite handy Get this even if youre happy with your logging set up 73 de K7PJP                 Incredibly useful app and I dont even use the logging function

I often operate portable and Ive come to really depend on this app This is MUCH more than a logbook its loaded with useful links and features The one thing I dont care for is that loading ADIF files is just plain goofy in fact Ive given up on that and transfer log entries over to HRD when I get back to my home shack All in all still a super app for the ham 73 W5CYF                 Super App Many nice features in this app

Amazing logging program on my iTouch for when I am not home at work station Nick has always listened to my comments I cant think of any that were not incorporated one way or another Easy to email and import into main logging program Wish I had 247 internet access on the iTouch to use some of the other stuff available KI6X                 Does All You Need and Easy to Suggest Changes

Even if you have a dipole in NVIS configuration you might actually make a DX contact once in a while in which case the US only call sign lookup renders this program useless as a logging tool Not to mention the lack of appeal to potential users outside the US        US only call sign look up

HamLog has made my portable logging so much easier and saved me so much time from not having to transcribe paper logs The live lookups are great it amazes me where I can get a cell signal these days and even when a data connection isnt available it will pull information from old contacts if possible I usually email myself a copy of the days log before I even leave the mountaintop                 Great Portable Logging App

Just tried a logging session with my new iPhone 5 with no problems The ability to have it email an ADIF version for importing to my DX Keeper logging program makes things easy And in tools there are bound to be a few useful items for any ham so many useful things there Not for high rate contests but great for those trips to the field                 Impressive logger more
