I am an older beginning weightlifter I started off with Starting Strength and now I am doing H L M workout and the SS app peters out if you are not doing the program I have tried a few other apps and this one meets my needs There a couple of improvements I would like to see One a warm up routine for each major lift I still use the SS app for the warmup routine Second I would like a broader range for the weight plates when figuring out how to stack your bar This app only allows 45 25 10 5 2 5 It does not allow other plates and micro plates However it is a pretty good app and lets you build your routine I don t use it for anything else so I cannot speak to cardio routines                 Pretty good app D2sutton

I honestly don t understand how other apps that charges outrageous prices could be doing so much better than this app Honestly you could do all you need to do with this app without even paying the one time fee of 4 99 but I still paid it just to help out the app developers I usually never write reviews but I felt like I really should help them out Just a few awesome benefits of this app is not only just an easy to use interface but being able to customize colors workouts and also have a great Apple Watch app I just love being able to get all the benefits I want without having to pay outrageous prices                     Honestly best gym log app ever Life-Saver!!
The reason I couldn t add custom exercises was because it already existed under default exercises which I had hidden under settings I still need to feel it out but I think I m going to like it Sorry for earlier bad review and thank you for responding                 Update I was using it wrong patricku9
It s the light version but you can t do anything It may be exactly what I m looking for but when I want to explore just a little more it prompts to upgrade I just want to look around a little before i slap 5 on an app     I get it it s the light version but Ruf420

One of the best lifting apps I have used Helps track everything I need Very easy to use and very useful So many exercises and already made workout plans that help every lifter from beginner to pro Would like if there was an option to take a picture of yourself every time a new weight was recorded to visually see progress Also a manual for how the Apple Watch app works would be helpful as well An ability to control music easier from the Apple Watch while using the app can make workouts smoother                     Amazing App e.loz
This app was exactly what I was looking for The navigation is well thought out and it has everything I need and nothing I don t I especially like the timer that starts after every entry instead of having to start the timer manually like in other apps And the summary at the end that shows your stats for that workout Plus no crazy monthly fee Thanks for a great app One bit of feedback for the developers When you open the notes for an exercise and click the description the keyboard pops up and you can not exit the keyboard Then there is no way to exit the exercise info As the button is blocked by the keyboard You have to restart the whole app A bummer if you are in the middle of a workout like I was                     Exactly the weight lifting log I was looking for Skept1c

When setting up a routine for a specific future date it does not allow me to It keeps defaulting back to whatever today s date is Then I try to set up an email account so I can report a problem but there s no way to do that either Do you have to leave 1 star reviews to get help I just purchase this yesterday so if I don t hear anything from them shortly I m going to get a refund     No IT help at all and the app has glitches before first workout Dotttahb

It appears that the iCloud syncing issues have been fixed in the last update This was my only complaint with this app as i like to use either my phone or iPad depending on where I m at                     Very good app Markupstart

I like the Apple Watch program from this app I can keep track of my workout and love the rest timer between sets I would like to see some kind of time stamp or start and end time of workout on the phone app Sometime I want to know the exact time I began the workout                 Good FF33

I have been using Gymaholic for several months and like it but I needed an app to more easily track supersets on both my iPhone and Apple Watch so I decided to try this app Today I used this app for the first time in the gym and it was very frustating Especially when trying to use it on my Apple Watch There were four main problems 1 Changing the amount of weight using the number pad presented didnt work I had to enter a zero save it go back and change it to the desired weight amount before it would save 2 When I decided to add an exercise to my workout I had to do it on my iPhone but this didnt push to the watch and the added exercise never appeared on the watch I had to log it on the iPhone 3 There is No option to push Active Calories to Healthkit as noted in the discription and the data sent to Healthkit for Workout was in error it sent three different amounts of time to Healthkit two of which were in the billions of minutes 4 When you Finish a workout on the iPhone the Watch is not updated with this info The routine much also be Finished on the watch the problem is both of these workouts are them sent to the Healthkit I purchased this app for its ability to track supersets and compatiblity with the Apple Watch I will give this app more stars as soon as it works better with the Apple Watch           Apple Watch Support Lacking

Pretty good app So far the only usable apple watch app Ive found for the gym The app needs supersets There appears to be an option for supersets but I havent figured it out yet Also would like to see integration with HealthKit so that calories etc are output to the health app and can integrate with watch data Also in need of adding many MANY more common exercises Come on no leg extensions           Pretty good Needs the following
Ive only just started using this app but having gone through quite a few of them I like this one due to its simplicity It gives you what you need without a lot of fluff This is minor but I would like to see added the ability to share data between devices I dont always take the iPad to the gym sometimes I only have my iPhone You can exportimport to move the data around but it would be nice for it to sync automatically Thanks              Great App

I have the upgrade to unlock all functions like the paid app This is a great app to record your workout sets Definitely beats having to carry a notebook around This shows the improvements and gains made over time Con being a fitness app this is lacking the ability to connect a HR monitor to calculate calories burned a bit more accurately This is also lacking HealthKit integration to collect fitness data like bodyweight HR workout time etc Another negative is that the apple watch settings dont completely match iPhone settings I have supersets off on my iPhone settings but the apple watch still shows the option for superset and taking my 3rd timer off PLEASE FIX THIS Adding external device integration HealthKit support will open up a lot more For now this simply is simply a paper and pencil tracker in a digital way        Great workout tracking but needs more functionality
I have been using this for over a month now and I have to disagree with the not user friendly review During a workout I have no trouble adding new exercises changing the order of the exercises or correcting a miss entry I workout with a partner and we keep up a very steady pace Using this app has not slowed us down once and I find it quite user friendly It may not be what everyone might be looking for but its perfect for me There is a small gym where we vacation frequently and I was able to build a separate workout with the machines at that facility as I was working out and later change the order to my liking I will say before I used this at the gym I built a test workout to get the feel for how the app works before I built my full workout I currently use Give it a chance you just might like it              Update to What I Was Looking For
When you add the weight for an exercise in Apple Watch through the numeric keypad the new weight is not saved When you add a custom exercise then you go back and add another one the data from the previous saved exercise appears on screen        Some bugs
Simply put it works Conveniently shows the pounds used in previous workouts per exercise so you dont waste time looking back Very clean app My only gripes are the lack of machine based exercises but its a small gripe that can easily be fixed by adding a custom exercise I Would also like to see it integrate with the health app and the ability to synchronize between devises would be a plus              Well designed
After trying several apps Gym log has the right combination of feature in a simplistic layout Gave it 4 out of 5 only because it have two minor enhances 1 provide rep and weight targets for workouts 2 adjust the rest by any number not just multiplies of 5 to 60 Absolutely great app              Solid App with all the bells and whistles
