My favorite feature is the Help Identify option Im a second year gardener and as much as Ive learned I still need help identifying the plants growing in my garden from the previous homeowners Even better is when people can tell me if what I have is a weed or not The responses are usually very quick too I have been looking for something like this for a while and I am very happy with this app I would like to see who my followers are and be able to edit my posts if I make a mistake                 Exactly what I hoped it would be

The app works fine The community is small but that will improve in time My biggest complaint is that on your profile you cannot click to see who you follow or who follows you As of now you have no way of knowing who follows you           Good overall

I downloaded this hoping to get some great gardening info for fall but it requires location services to be turned on to use No way Give us a zip code or city option and Ill download but Ive deleted the app     Location REQUIRED To Use

Now that Ive upgraded to the latest iPhone and iOS the app seems to be working ok One thing the developers should consider adding to the app is the ability to unrate posts Ive accidentally rated posts I didnt intend to rate and it would be great if I can unrate them           Better

Easy to use great for sharing too I was concerned about the locality designation however when you explorewell you can follow gardeners rate plants outside the zone Thats a big plus I feel that the designers have a vision are steadily making their way towards it The designers are great guys incredibly helpful This is a great App eventually will be awesome              I really like this App

When this app gets more popular I think it will be cool Maybe its because I live in a small town but theres absolutely nobody near me to follow or anything Id love to be able to see people and plants and information from anywhere Ill check back in a few months and see if its grown     Needs some work

Needs improving but is interesting and fun to use Two big things I would like to be able to use the app without having location services turned on Maybe when you open the app it could ask us to input a zip code if location is turned off Also if someone comments on my picture I dont get alerts How am I supposed to be able to respond As it is I keep checking my photos to make sure Im not ignoring someone Other than that I like it fair enough There are enough people on near me that I can waste some time with this app Ha           Good start

Poorly designed Any plant I searched for always came up with no plants in this area     Dont bother

This is a fantastic app for anyone who likes decorating with plants No Green Thumb required Whether you garden in the ground patio pots or hanging baskets GrowIt will point you in the right direction for the best plants                 Home gardener

I like the concept but when you first get the app there is no explanation or instructions which makes navigating and understanding the app pretty confusing        Needs Work

This is a great idea but not utilized into area There needs to be a way to share on Facebook or pintrist or something A way to get the word out I would love but since it only shows plants in your area there is nothing on it for me There is only 3 people It should show everyone in your growing zone or something           Great idea

The is functional and easy to use Not enough people use it though Needs more grass roots marketing and less of those obnoxious yellow tshirts Everyone should dl the app and tell your friends about it                 Plant Geek

Maybe Im dumb or something but I tried to add a photo of a notsocommon plant and it will not add the name that Im typing into the box It wont load either     Cant add a name

This app is super fun I love looking at all the photos people have uploaded of their plants flowers trees gardens and more These have given me lots of ideas for future plantings                 App for plant and flower growers of all kinds

The app ask for your location and it will not let you create an account without turning on your location services I dont understand why I just cant input my zip code and they can figure out what plant grows best in my area        Could use some work

Cool idea but the app needs fine tuning Need to have the ability to edit plants once they have been uploaded and the naming function is cumbersome and doesnt allow for binomial nomenclature Also it might be cool if you could include location information if desired for hard to find plants           Great Potential

I read the updates that said they had read the reviews and made several changes The only change I see people really wanting is to not have to use GPS That change they did not make Erasing the app Very disappointed as this concept is great     Stop asking for GPS

This app is outstanding Ive already gotten into the habit of uploading pictures of all my plants as well as others I come across from day to day Itll only get better as more people get involved and rate each others posts                 Great app for those with a green thumb

Being a plant geek I love the idea of gettinggiving plant reviews and gettinggiving help in IDing plants and seeing what people are growing in my area But there are some things I would change Like most of the reviewers I wish you could browse outside of some undefined local area Being able to search by zip code cold hardiness zone etc would be better The plant names accepted by the app needs to be bigger including scientific names I could ID my calla lilies by their common name but not by their scientific name You should also be able to edit your posts and see who is following you              Great potential but needs work

Ill give this another try when it doesnt require gps A zip code should be sufficient to suggest plants that grow in your zone     Location required

I dont want to use my location services and therefore cant use this app at all I dont understand why I can put in the state Im in or my zip code for this too work Why do you need to access my gps When they fix this Ill download again For now Im deleting it and looking for a different app     Location services

A free gardening app that lets me see what people are growing around me Yes please Great app Could still use a few more fixes but definitely worth what I paid Cant wait to see what they do in the future                 Worth the money

I came across this app in Pinterest and I was really disappointed The plant database is very limited and does not provide access to search for plants in the www Im better off using my web browser than using space on my phone for an app that really doesnt do much Also it would be nice if you would add a tutorial     If you are going to advertise as a great app put some efforts into it

I love the idea but I couldnt even open it up without turning on my GPS locator I dont understand why a plant app needs to know my exact location and I cant just enter in a zip code Ultimately I deleted it without even getting to check it out           Neutral Didnt get to try

I wanted to figure out which plants I should grow based on the climate where I live and the amount of sunlight I have I dont care whos growing what near me I just want to know what I should plant     Not what I was hoping for

This app seems like a great idea the problem is that there are very few people and plants available on my feed Would be awesome if more local people used it Minus a star for the lack of the ability to find follow or view anything outside of the users vicinity              Needs more people

Love that there is a fun app for gardeningflowers Very easy to use laid out well and has a great database Personally I like the search function Its great that I can look for things for my containers in my favorite color in my area Looking forward to using the app this spring and seeing what else it will do in the future                 Great app

Decent app but needs more improvements Cant edit plants youve added and their list of plants need expanding I added lemongrass and sugar cane but was not able to properly name the plant cause it wasnt in their system So yeah needs improving           Decent app

This is a great app Its really well designed and intuitive and simple it doesnt bog you down with horticultural mumbo jumbo Its really fun to go through and rate photos of plants If you want specific cultural information you can find that too Its all location based so you can connect with people in your area and the plants featured with definitely work in your area Im totally addicted to this app I love it                 Super fun app

This app is absolutely wonderfulit has so many great features I moved to a new property in January so once spring rolled around things started popping up and I had no idea what some things were Thankfully with this app I can just snap a pic upload it and generally get a response within a day or two I also love to show off what Im growing to my fellow gardeners There are some minor adjustments needed to be made though There should be an edit feature incase the plant is initially improperly identified The edit feature would also be helpful incase the commenters do not formally identify the plant name OR incase you yourself figure out what the plant is before anyone gives you a suggestion I would also like the ability to see who my followers are I dont have much information on my profile but even so I would still like to know what members are following memaybe Id like to follow them back It would also be nice to get an alert when someone comments on your plants so I dont have to go back and incessantly check for a response I also think you should have the ability to delete plants you have added incase you add the same one twice on accidentyes its happened I think with these improvements this app would really go to the next level           Half way there

Same complaint as everyone else Definitely need to open up viewership to outside my local area since only 3 or 4 people in my rural area have the app Maybe group users by USDA zones Also I have a follower and would like to follow them back but cant click and see who it is This app has great potential but unfortunately falls short at this point        Not enough features

You should be able to view plants from all users not just those nearby It would be great if you could search for areas with similar climates as yours There are so few users currently that just seeing those nearby is useless     Needs Work

I really like this app because it appeals to people like me who are just starting out with gardening I gather some real inspiration from people like me plus some tips and tricks I like that it is simple to use and not at all overwhelming I am excited to see how it grows as more people post pics of their gardens                 Helpful and Easytouse

GrowIt is the best I wouldnt trust my social gardening to any other app I never wouldve thought to plant my hydrangeas around the backside of my house had I not gotten a hot tip from the GrowIt team                 GrowIt is the best

I could see this app taking off once there was enough users but not if they dont change how limited it is to only local Im from western Wisconsin and there are only 3 users in my area I believe that feature should be a option I also enjoy house plants and locality doesnt matter Please change this feature or this app might be dead in the water              Theres potential

I love the idea of this ap But I would have to see a lot of changes for me to keep it You cannot edit or remove your own pictures once you post them You cannot add the name of a plant if it is not in the system for instance it would not let me name my velvet n lace dianthus it also doesnt notify you if someone else rates your plants It just does not seem very user friendly to me I would also like a hashtag option that would take you to everyone who has the same plant so you can share advise tips tricks and ask help from others        Could be amazing

The app had me excited at the prospect of connecting with other likeminded gardeners in my area Its a great idea But Im finding it hard to use and figure out Dont get me wrong its not complicated But it seems very limited Went to see their Facebook page and could not get much more info So far I find the app quite limited cannot communicate with others except through comments about their plant photos cannot search by city region area cannot tell where other users are from unless they choose to say a general idea would be useful to find people with whom one wants to communicate in the ways it allows me to communicate cant zoom in on photos as far as I can see and cannot edit or remove my own posts a MAJOR issue as far as Im concerned I keep wanting to do things it cannot do so Im not sure its the app for me but Ill keep trying for a while and see        Interesting idea

Love the idea So so so excited to see this Def needs some work the above reviews I agree with all and also just some big fixes I havent gotten a picture to upload yet but please get it all worked out because Im so excited about this app           a few fixes away

This app is so stupid I thought it was going to give me ideas of what plants I could grow in my area but instead I am looking at other peoples pictures that I dnt care about And why the heck does it ask for my location Why cant I just put in my zip code     Stupid
