This does not help as I expected with pricing and local stores     No Help With Pricing

I think work great and the fact about let me know where I can find the best price in one product is great because how many time we are in the store and try to figure how much we pay the last time I only think will be great if I can use in my iPad Thanks                 I Think Is A Great App

as u need to input all items prices store etc for the money saving from grocery we just only want to get ALL good deals from the app not the records that we creat in the app     no use

Its good to note this app does not provide the prices for your grocery stores It allows you to build a database FOR your stores Its IMPOSSIBLE for an app to cater to each individual like that so disregard the obnoxious reviews that gave such low reviews and harsh criticism for that Why I love this app I LOVE the fact I can input prices for 5 different stores and it will show me how much leg work I need to input ie how many stores I should go to save money Because of this app I actually have a platform that allows me to compare prices be aware of what Im spending and save money by being a more conscious shopper I spend the time to put items and prices in the app because its an instant reference while Im shopping and will only get more and more useful the more I put into it The developers are also responsive Theyve been available when I needed help about inputting quantity and were receptive about feature suggestions I am really looking expanding my database and seeing where they go with the app functionality Thanks for helping me tackle my lack of grocery awareness For the last four years I couldnt tell you what was a good deal now I know down to the cents how much Im saving                 I feel like an informed shopper now

First thanks so much for Grocery Genius After Grocery IQ was ruined by their developers I was searching for the closest alternative I had to have calculated pricing I found GG and its great and way better than GIQ Interface is perfect and makes sense All I ask is that you create a backup system either by DropboxiCloud preferred and would take care of those with multiple devices or by simply emailing a backup file to myself This alone would be sufficient I had just deleted the horrible GIQ yesterday I hate it that much now I have tried so many grocery list apps and even tried using all my existing listto do apps in its stead and yours is truly incredibly the best for this market no pun intended Please do not let it get ruined in any way              Excellent

For over 8 months Grocery Genius Pro has become one of my top three goto apps for productivity Heres how it has shaped up based on my earlier review 1 Know best prices when Im out there I dont follow too much exact prices anymore This app has become mostly a central warehouse for my shopping list I need to know where to buy itthats most important Of course if I could make updates rapidly I would 2 Budget before even leaving the house Again I get a rough estimate based on all the initial work I did to input items and prices These days Im happy to just have an estimate before I leave home Of course Id really like precision before I leave AND a reality check as Im shopping when prices and choices can and do change 3 plan my stops in terms of pricing choices This should be an important features but there is no easy way to compare that Ive found anyway One thing I do now is Ive included a Store called Places When I need to remember a stop I need to make I add a food item like Credit Union or Library and list the price as 001 4 pat myself on the back for saving x amount when I get back There are a number of reasons why precise budgeting doesnt work on this app Id say theyre about 80 there Again its more important for me to get a sharp list and even print it out You can email your list and then print it Its nice to use a paper list where you can make notes Using a mobile device to shop can draw unwanted attention I was worried about whether my data was backed up I wrote to the developers at Ferocious who replied immediately That was reassuring If youre backing up to the Cloud make triple sure you are then reinstalling will resurrect your data Wish list 1 A way to search for items My list is pretty long 2 A way to have a running total of what Ive checked off my list I admit I havent searched iTunes recently but developers out there Opportunity Alert 3 Sharper focus on the goals of planning a food budget and keeping to that budget when in the store Ferocious Apps If you could close the gaps this would be a perfect app              Update to my review

it needs a sync or backup cloud feature so that i can use in more than 1 device in order to input things Im sure more ppl will use it if you guys have this feature Moreover iPad version is a wonderful idea Btw the recent version is crashed every time I hit FAQ           great app but

Lacking a syncingbackup feature which means that you will lose all of your data ifwhen your phone crashes or the software updatesthis is a huge problem I emailed the developer over a year ago to request this feature but it still hasnt shown up I think this app has been abandoned Could have been great Hope the developer turns things around but I doubt it           Disappointing for what could be a fantastic app

This is a great app if you like to compare other stores to the same item the only drawback is it would be nice if it could break down each item Show what each egg cost when I input it in as a dozen so if I go to a store that sells five dozen eggs I know what the cost is                 Price per each
