Graphing Calculator HD

I love this app I needed a graphing calculator for my precalculus course but I didnt want to spend 200 dollars on one So I downloaded 3D Grapher for my iPod touch But I hated itI would type complicated equations in and it would just say False and then not graph anything even after I upgraded it So instead I bought this one and Im glad I did It is totally worth the 2 It does everything I need it to and Im very happy with it If you are hesitating about buying it dont Best two dollars I ever spent                 Awesome App

I am dumb folded on how I can possibly be the first to write a review on this app which I have enjoyed for so long This calculator helped me throughout college US Army Chemical School and currently with my finances Simple elegant and effective Its a tool not a game so dont expect anything fancy                 Wonderful calculator

This is pretty awesome Im a mechanical engineering student and this will be nice to have I just wish it did integrals If it did and maybe the technology for a solver It could very well place my ti89                 Very nice

Ive taught prealgebra algebra math models and geometry and this ap beats every calculator I have ever used in a classroom Only reason I downloaded it was to help son with intersections of systems of linear equations and we completed 22 problems in less than half an hour                 Greatest calculator ever

I have just purchased this app and wish it had the ability to do fractions I do not run in to them much but if would help out when i do Please add them              Good App so far

This is the best app ever I have used the iPhone version for years in my Alg2 class but the iPad version is soooooo much nicer dont get those free calculators this Is sooo worth the 2 it has a great interface and smooth controls And its brand new Most apps have issues when they come out not this one Its great As an app developer this app is truly remarkable                 Best App yet

As a calculus student I found this app to be absolutely useful Plenty of features of course no where near as comprehensive as a Ti calculator but for the price its a good stop gap                 Excellent

When I press the equation button while looking at my graph a small box shows up in the corner of the screen I am then unable to edit my equations or use the calculator until I restart the app FIX WITH NEXT UPDATE              Major Glitch

This app does everything that a 200 graphing calculator does It has all the functions and works like a charm Beautiful display on the iPad too I thoroughly recommend this app Great app for students                 Great value

I have two graphing apps for my iPad the other is Quick Graph I think both are excellent This app is very responsive and easy to use I like the option to trace and stick to intercepts or minmax points I do wish the intercepts would round a little so the x or y coordinate was 0 like it should be instead of some very small scientific notation number A minor quibble for a fine app                 One of the better graphing apps

I first started using this program on my iphone back in 2008 in my freshmen calculus class Ive been using it as my default calculator on my iphone ever since then especially for chemistry labs and homework I find myself even preferring it over my TI84 at times I just found this ipad version earlier today and it really takes it to the next level Both of these apps are great and well worth the price really worth a lot more its kind of a steal                 Amazing app amazing price

I have used QuickGraph for quite a while until I came across this app I really enjoy the snap to roots and intersections the table of values and the calculator However it has some flaws that I would like to point out 1 Sometimes the list of equations will not show when you push the Equations button This can get extremely frustrating as I have to force quit the app from the multitasking bar in order to make it work again 2 Equations can only be entered in the y format You cannot enter an x equation or an equation in pointslope or standard form You also cannot graph inequalities 3 When using the Snapto roots and intersections tool sometimes it will not snap to an xintercept 4 You can only graph up to 4 graphs at a time 5 It would also be nice to change the color of the graphed functions but this isnt a big deal All in all this is a good app with a lot of great ideas However it could be made much better with some functionality improvements           Good app has some flaws

You could pay over 100 dollars for a ti83 or you could pay 2 for this Of course the ti has a few more functions but the ti is not even near to as user friendly or clean looking than this app Without a doubt worth the 2 bucks                 Seriously awesome

I am an engineer and I gotta say bravo to this app It provides me on the fly analysis of equations and access to an excellent calculator I love it I wish the developer would go further and add some data analysis capabilities where you can enter data for plotting and fitting functions That would be really cool                 Amazing

Absent standard statistical functions scientific notation button Other than that it doesnt do too bad of a job Graphs and zooms quickly equations are easily recycled If theyd add the mentioned deficiencies and a custom input table for equations wed be in business           Could be better

This app seems to work nicely but how it is set up confuses meit needs to have some sort of tutorial to help you because otherwise i dont understand it An app with instructions is a much better choice otherwise this one is fine           Good app but confusing

Ive been using the iPhone version of this app for over a year now and I like it but the iPad version is even better in many ways Faster real fun to pan and zoom the graph More keys among them functions are available on the keyboard Its easier to change settings and plot modes ie function polar parametric The help is more detailed Email is available within the app Saving plots as photos is supported                 Great app

Recommended for engineering students This app is totally worth your money because this can handle calculations almost as good as Ti83 graphing calculator Although it cant do integrations Treat this as a backup calculator for your Ti calculators                 Very good

This is an unbelievable app for the price It easily competes with the capacity of the TI83 for a fraction of the price 4 graphing inputs in multiple colors a table of values for each input 3 modes of graphing single variable twovariable parametric polar the ability to locate axis intercepts and intersections at the touch of the screen screen panning and zoom by touch a linebyline of calculations and the ability to save and view calculations over time the ability to export several functions including the ability to input user functionsyour mind will absolutely be blown away As a student of mechanical engineering I can honestly say this was one of the wisest best 200 that Ive ever spent If you are in need of a graphing calculator for school or work dont want to pull out a clunky much less colorful alternative instrument out of your bag or briefcase and need answers as quickly as possible then this is a MUST BUY The only thing I would love to see in a future installment of the app is the ability to take derivatives and integrals of functions at touch and slide respectively but this calculator is absolutely phenomenal as it is                 Masterpiece

The current version has addressed all my nits with previous versions Te reset grid function now reruns a square grid This is a powerful and intuitive app                 Great App

It is disappointing to purchase a graphing calculator that can not do basic matrix functions or any kind of Guass Jordan operations These are on every TI calculator invented I contacted the makers and they did not even respond I would suggest waiting until TI comes out with something I know they would email back their customers        Disappointing and No Response

One of the best of all my many apps on all three platforms ie iPad Kindle Fire and Blackberry Playbook Its very intuitive to use Having the ability to export a graph as a picture or an email enhances its utility An added feature of a saveload function at an addition price In a Pro version would further enhance it                 Great

Picked this app up to help my daughter with college algebra Unlike some other graphing calculators I have tried I was able to use it immediately and had a graph of a simple function within a minute or so of firing it up The graphs are clean and well presented export via email and photo library is supported Great use of the iPad screen real estate with easy showhide of the equation panels Up to four equations at one time either yfx or xyft Excellent support as well email was returned within an hour on a Saturday A great bargain I would recommend this app to anyone who needs a solid easy to use graphing tool for algebra or analytical geometry                 Easy to use Great quality graphs

This app is amazing The sheer size makes it infinitely more useful than the iphone in viewing the graph and tables im a comp sci student but i actually think because of the number of options of viewing data such as specifying intervals in the table for very large intervals like 500000 it has saved my grade more than once anyway the color makes it easier to see which equation line is which but it would be nice to even go above what a normal graphing calculator does and do shading and calculate area and integrals like others have said                 Better than the iphone version and the iphone one was good

This is some pretty basic function transform It returns a table like x2 and the graph is a y0 REALLY disappointing as I had previously like it        buggy cant graph y1x2x323

This really is a great app that gives you the opportunity to look at a graph on a large scale and trace intersections by simple sliding your finger across the screen However I do feel like it would be more useful to precalculus calculus and trigonometry students if the option of viewing the graph in terms of pi was an option              Great

This is a fantastic app In the future I would love to see graphing with inequalities using shading solid and dotted lines Also single points would be nice too At first I was a little confused at how to work it but I found the amazing help section                 Wow

There isnt a big difference between this one and the one I downloaded for free I was trying to graph a hyperbola I sent two emails to the developer and never responded I decided to buy it but it didnt do what I needed There is no customer support     Same as the free one
