I took a chance buying this app because it didnt have any ratings or reviews yet and Im glad I did I was looking for a 3D globe of the earth that would let me visualize what time it is in various parts of the world This app does that and more and Im very pleased with it Global Time consists of a beautifullyrendered globe of the earth against a starry background The sun is also visible when its not behind the earth or offscreen in its correct position relative to the earth for that time of day You can rotate the globe by simply dragging with your finger and you can also pinchzoom in and out Arrayed around the globe are yellow dots representing major cities If you tap on one it zooms in and shows you the name of the city the date and the time of day there Tapping on the time toggles it back and forth between 24hour military time and 12hour AMPM time Global Time is a smooth goodlooking app that does what it does very well Exactly what I was looking for

I have sent the company that makes this app more than one e mail and have had no response Its a nice looking app but not a good fit for the iPad and it does not have correct times in the United States As is it is not worth the money if you in the US Don t bother
