GigBaby! four track recorder, metronome, drum machine

If it was 5 I would still give 4 stars I dont understand all the complaining about what it doesnt do etc Do you yell at the little kids in your neighborhood with the lemonade stand cuz its not the right temperature Rip Suzie a new one cuz you got too few ice cubes This app is pretty darn amazing for the price Probably the best dollar Ive spent in a LONG time Some people are just never satisfied Smile Life isnt as bad as you think                 GREAT Value

This app is great It doesnt have any fancy features like panning or equalizing but thats one of the things I like about it Its just so simple You can really easily record multi tracks and you dont even need headphones if you dont feel like getting them You can just listen to the other tracks as you record by putting the phone up to your ear                 Its great

Having been in studios recording hundreds of hours of tracking my expectations for the iPhoneGigbaby combo were pretty low Ive been surprisingly impressed with both the quality and ease to extract tracks on to Mac Nice job even among Four Track app Much cheaper and very well for four unbouncable tracks              Good recording App

This is a really nice and simple app But there needs to be a better way to get tracks to your computer If you dont have wifi available then it is useless It would be great if you could email them        Needs better way to share

Best 99 cents I have ever spent Ive only had this app for a few hours and I can already tell you that Im in love As a singer it is great for recording song ideas I can go back later and add a guitar in or practice 3 part harmonies on other songs I like to sing I cant wait to learn how to use it more So excited I found this app Ive already told 4 friends who have downloaded it as soon as I told them how amazing it was and they are loving it too                 Loving GigBaby

Really like this app its been usefuk to lay down seperate tracks for when i have an idea on the go However I dont remember a single update since I got the app november 09 Did the developer just make the app get the money and run iOs4 capability would be greatly appreciated              Update

The metronome lags rendering the app useless when trying to play to a visual click track What a waste     Thank goodness I only wasted 99 on this crap

Cool little recorder have played with enough In fact I wish it could be simpler I just want to record a few tracks without extra beats or the like But most importantly Im surprise no update has landed in our mist              No updates

Like anything else this app is not for really dumb guys But if you have half a brain you can learn to use it and get things done I also wish it let you mix three tracks to one so I could add more tracks but even if that feature never comes its still a cool tool Ive made some recordings with it that I really like These are recording I may not have got around to if I didnt have something so quik and easy to use Its clearly true from the reviews though That if youre not too swift dont get this one You wont be able to make it work and youll feel you need to write about it But that being said everyone else should get it Have fun kids                 My review

I use this constantly although I dont use all of the features its definatly worth the money only problem is transfering off your iPodiPhone is a pain if you dont know how to find Someone who does                 Great app

i havent found anything yet to make decent ringtones of my own yet but so far this cheesy gadget is pretty good for the priceI would have got 4 track but I am not sure if they work with OS 22 yet Anyway Gigbaby is great for a buck                 decent

Its a four track for your phone Its not a recording studio I think its great Wish you could save the file to your phone though Thats my only gripe              Quit complaining

The price of this 099 makes it a steal So worth the price if you are a musician with an idea Do you go to a studio No reach in your pocket and record away Couldnt be easier Great for when you are in your car with an idea stuck in your head instead of losing it Record it for later reference I am so happy with this Great job                 This is COOL

Worked great the first demo I recorded with 3 tracks playing guitar vocals and lead with sync tempo beat perfect for a lil recorder and I was impressed so I tried another demo only recording the beat while adjusting the tempo it played back well but then when I played back my 1st demo after that no sound to the beat sounded a lil muffled in the background and malfunctioned saying 52 instead of 0 when restarting then it couldnt hold a steady beat and I had to manually move to upper cursor over after I pressed play to hear the tempo but was a lil off so I got frustrated and deleted it in pursuit to finding a better app maybe my phone was messing up or it has some bugs in the system apparently idk for sure just giving anyone a heads up before buying this app     Disappointed

I bought this for iPad and it says it works with iPad But it only shows up as an iPhone app and wont load on the new iPad Why because I did not install it in the new release of iTunes so actually works fine with iPad              iPad problem Not really

iPod Touch 1G with Blue Mikey doesnt work They say it does but it dont Its not the cost of the app but Im irritated with the time I wasted on this     iPod Touch 1G with Blue Mikey

Great App Love being able to record multiple tracks on the go After a few minor problems with the sharing feature which the author responded back quickly I was able to upload with no problem Very useful Nice drum track selection Great price I would like to see the option to condence tracks before after uploading but not that big of a deal All in all very good                 A helpful tool

I downloaded another four track app that had a better looking interface but I ended up never using it because GigBaby has so many more great features I had the free version but I bought the full version to have more songs to record and to support future development possibly for GUI enhancements                 Excellent Recording app

As a metronome with preprogrammed drum patterns and a tempo adjustment feature this app works on my iPhone 6 w iOs 8 Records but export didnt work for me Doesnt immediately go to new window when its selected so the feel is a bit clunky           Works with Quirks

Its a 4 track on my telephone How ridiculously awesome is that Maybe theres not a single goddamn drum beat in here that I would ever use but who cares I can tap out any rhythm I want on my desk What more do you need on your phone              That Machine

I like this app for singing harmony tracks but it doesnt let me tap out of the app while recording in order to look at the music Im singing in Safari It stops recording when you leave the app It would be AWESOME if I could do that I will keep the app around for a while in case that is fixed           Fix this please

Please UPDATE to allow project songs to imported from iTunes PLEASE This app would be worth 3x the price if you could import projects from iTunes I write music and would love to use this app to add vocal ideas to songs Ive added to iTunes This would be THE greatest song writing app ever Reverb would be cool as well PLEASE UPDATE to allow IMPORT of projects from iTunes I would give 6 stars           Cant import projects from iTunes

I have had tons of trouble sharing my recording or ideas with other guys in my band I really miss the email sharing option or fix the wifi sharing problem I love the app and would totally recommend it Just would like to see the sharing made easier           Sharing

I cannot rate this app highly enough I used tascam portastudio for more than two decades And more recently use steinberg cubase for pchard drive recording I bought gigbaby on a whim about one month ago despite mixed reviews I rarely use cubase these days due to not having dedicated music room and pain of setting up Anyway am using gigbaby mainly for acoustic guitar and vocal harmony recording and totally satisfied with ease of use quality of output and lack of time lag reported on earlier versions I cannot imagine a recording tool being easier to use or quicker to get results with Only limitation is with mastering Gigbaby studio has been released since I bought this must Chek this out to see if it adds all features needed here Only additional feature I would like is ability to bounce tracks to free up additional track or two But cant complain Superb app Far exceeded my expectations                 Wonderful application

Sharing is a joke You cant just save a project as an mp3 It pointless and I lost several tracks when the app kept crashing This app is terrible     Horrible

I have a windows system The caf file format is not compatible with any software on my machine Ive spent the last two hourswhich I will never get back trying to find a file coverter that will make the useless caf file into a wav file No luck must rate this two stars for a great appwith a huge flaw caf files are useless unless someone can answer the most obvious questionIve had no luck answering What do you do with caf when youre windows based Oh I hear its great for garage bandummm garage band works on macs Its so close to being the coolest app in the world        Got songs I would like to edit on my windows computerGOOD LUCK

Ive been using it for years for my occasional recordings of duets or trios Its so easy to use and the tracks dont show latency To turn off metronome sound go to Tempo and press the Sound button Like others I had triune finding that technique                 I love it

While it does a lot for a dollar I probably wont use it because it turns files into caf files which cant be uploaded to itunes You also cant mix down the 4 tracks That being said if youre just playing around this could be worthwhile app for a dollar As for me I hope they update it and turn the files into mp3s or wav files and make it possible to do a mixdown I also hope they add ballad drums        Could have been good

I use gigbaby track my progress on learning the banjoand also to record simple things that come to mind I love it I had a bit of trouble after ios5 transferring to my PC However I emailed the admin who very promptly and politely responded Within a week there was an update which fixed the problem                 Perfect for me

I wanted this for a drum machine as alternative to metronome The drum sound are awful and the limited beats are really lame Otherwise it seems ok and works        Lousy drum sounds

I hate the rhythm presets Horrible No prefs so as far as I can tell no way to eliminate the metronome which really limits its usefulness Generally not impressed I think I paid the full price for this app when it was almost 10 and never felt like I got my moneys worth from it Wish Id only paid a dollar I wouldnt feel so bad        Meh
