At long last years behind other utility providers Georgia Power comes out with an app Its useless It works with your internet browser cuts off much of the information you need to see and will not give you a landscape view Not even a good try at app creation Lame
But I am not sure since the app wouldnt load the login screen Just use the website Terrible Barely a wrapper for the website
This app is just a fancy way of putting an icon on your phones home screen It offers no extra functionality that the mobile site does less even as it doesnt save your password which is super annoying Dont waste your time Poor poor poor Total waste of time
This isnt really an app but a browser for their mobile website Not worth the download Sorry folks Same layout as mobile website

Not bad I couldnt paste my password in for some reason I had to type it in Also it seems like the alerts could come from the app itself instead of having to get text messages The outage map and usage screens are very useful Works well enough
Has more UI issues than the website that it is accessing Cant paste passwords into the login which is a dealbreaker when using complex passwords and a password utility Less functional than website it clones

Im kind of confused by the bad reviews but maybe Georgia Power has been taking them to heart and theyve done some improving I downloaded today it opened fine seemed quick and I was easily able to pay my bill Im glad I opted to download Great
The Marketing spiel says you should see a graph of usage Instead you get just last month year ago and current month usage not clear whether it is billing period or calendar month If you want to see billing info you need to know an insert your account number Does not make sense once you log in to the app all info should be at your fingertips And Another Thing
It works okay but it take a long time to load content Slow

Were told these days that we need long passwords composed of random strings of characters unique for each of the dozens of web sites we use Ok got that But it sure would be nice to copy and paste that 20 characters of gibberish from my password manager to this app Otherwise Im trying to remember it or writing it out on paper Or maybe I should just give up and make my Georgia Power password 1234567890 Useful but needs password pasting
I use a password manager the inability to copy paste my password from it to this app will mean its more trouble to open than its worth Nice idea but it needs to be a lot more user friendly Cannot paste to password field
This is trash All they did was take there poorly made mobile site which is buggy and told an app to open the website This is not a mobile app this is a bad mobile website I could write a better app
Error screen comes up about every other time I open the app and every firstly is time I try to log in Really wish I could see the usage graphs like you can online Thats my favorite part about Geo Really needs an update
