Id love to give this a review but im stuck I cant pass missions anymore and i cant even win the secret missions making my time playing this game frustrating At the verge of uninstalling completely but instead i wait for the 4 lives and try again     Id love to give this a good review but

This game is so awesome it takes classic arcade games to an extreme level that is highly addicting and super fun I have some suggestions that I think would make the game even better1 If their could be a multiplayer mode that involves blututh r something that would be great 2 It would be really cool to be able to upgrade ships with the core energy and maybe at the max level you can equip an item on the ship3 They should make more types of boxes some with core energy or 10 credits that has a guaranteed chance of getting you a secret item4 If their was a survival mode Where you could see how long you last it would be great Thank you for reading                 Great game and suggestions

I love this game Before the update I was on the 73 sector I love the storyline so I tried to restart but I cant Every time I reset the story or at least press the button nothing happens Im sick of it and I would just like to go back to playing this awesome game           Story Progression

The gameplay can get a little repetitive but the story is one of the best stories of any game Ive played                 Greatest phone game ever

Played through the entire game it was a journey in itself and I am happy to see through it to the end Gameplay turned into a bit of a drag from 70 onwards as by then I have pretty much mastered the system and can go through the game without headbanging in frustration for the lack of equipment upgrades Grinding for gear mostly happened around levels 30 40 and 60 Couple points for the devs the bug for the last dialogue in 1006 STILL needs fixing It wouldve been nice to see what months of work finally amounts to in the end the storyline was unfulfilling in the end It was almost cheezily optimistic in the beginning and the ending just leaves too much to be desired addfriend function barely works I dont know if it was just me or if it applied to everyone but I have NEVER been able to see an allied ship much less add them as a friend Not a huge complaint here though game center needs more trophiesleaderboards Gamecenter integration is nice but I think we need more endgame awards to really reward those who stuck to the game Leaderboards for total kills andor highest combined stats would be nice too again the final storyline Now I might be going overboard with this request but wouldnt it be nice if we get a little endgame animation We have never really seen our pilot in motion and this can give himher more life than text could ever say needs more game modes Campaign then side game modes Maybe endless survival or convoy protection How about a mission where we physically protect the base from shootable missiles Variations can really spice up the game certain bosses need balancing There was a couple of bosses that with EMP andor phoenix projectiles filling the entire screen were downright impossible to beat without dying a couple of times in a single mission The missiles that come with these bosses dont help the cause either burn effects need balancing too After an EMP lockdown getting hit by burn bosses is my second worst nightmare One wrong move and Im toast and in need of a respawn it would be nice for common bosses to have an extremely tiny chance to get gold and purple cargo too A windfall every once in a blue moon never stops improving my mood Props to the devs for making this game Loved the storyline up until the very last bit partly because I couldnt see it and I will hungrily await for the next update PS to the ppl who read this review to the end heres my two cents worth of advice Buy anvindr andor akama and dont buy anything else in ships I used akama for 80 of my journey and nearly always equipped vampire strike to battles Save credits till level 90 then go all out on the black market crate spree It makes the final levels feel like a cakewalk and you can appreciate the storyline more when you get a break from all the level grinding Youre welcome folks My ingame username is Unicorn by the way if you want to use me as your wingman anytime soon                 Awesome game needs some final touches though

I came into this game with no great expectations but have been radiantly surprised to find hours and hours of great fun The amount of content you get for a free to play game is insane AND its actually got a plot that you somewhat care about All of that said theres a few minor inconveniences that Id like to see change 1 make the core ships more valuable You work hard to earn enough cores to to get one of the core ships but none of them are better than the 35 credit ship 2 Id like the ability to invite my Facebook friends to play and be my friends in the game 3 last night I opened the game to find that my 25 hours of gameplay had been completely erased It opened as if it was my first time playing I lost everything I told myself to write an angry review when I woke up but thankfully when I opened the game this morning all my statsexperience was back Close call All in all I love this game and literally plan to play it for months PLAY IT                 Excellent So much content

I think what works so well for this game is the combination of it being completely free to play and the nostalgia of it being similar to Raiden X The story is also pretty interesting and the only ads are optional to watch but give rewards for doing so 55                 Such an overall fantastic game

This game is my first space shooter on the App Store I had no idea going into this This game is challenging and will drive you insane Despite the difficulty this game is one of the best games of all genres I have ever played PS if you go you secret cargo missions be sure to have 2 credits available to open the cargo If not its gone forever                 Very difficult

It just makes us wait to play the freaking game we would get to play more without the lives fix that and definitely a 5 star           WHAT THE HELL THE LIVES

The game is solid However since its an RPG where progressing is required to get the next piece of the story it would be good to be able to read through the parts youve seen before Also it might be good to have a little help page or screen explaining what things are like reactors and photon bursts and what not              Love it

So I had been searching for a spaceship arcade shooter for a while I played Galaxy On Fire 2 for so many hours and Im a huge fan of space sims on PC like Elite Dangerous so I downloaded this game with a number of others and this one by far was the most fun Its polished the mechanics are easy to understand the storyline while pretty cheesy with the dialogue is compelling enough so that I know Im playing FOR something The paid currency is also pretty easy to get in game through daily quests like bounty hunts or just by beating the regular bosses or watching ads The game is really fun to play and I recommend this to everyone Oh I almost forgot the visuals are stunning While the backgrounds can be a bit lackluster thats not really what youre looking at most of the time The retro graphics and crazy cool particle effects combines with the explosions just make the game feel so active and alive                 Best game Ive played on mobile

When I first saw it in the App Store I thought oh its a space shooter and I thought to my self well theres other good space shooters I can get but this one look very good to play so I downloaded it and when I first played it it was confusing at first but when life went on I started to get the hang of it and now I really like the game and wish there is more content in the future its just the same thing over and over again go through the levels and defeat the boss I really wished that there was new modes to the game you can play and more easier ways to get credits and cores but it really is a fun game and should be put out there more with updates and new modes new boss like one idea a snak like battle ship boss or new ships and different types of weapons and meeting new people and also there should be a coop mode for up to 4 people and or raid boss mode where if you defeat the boss you can get cores or credits or different types of weapons as you go on and defeat the boss and also there should be different power ups and or different sectors with new people or even Nevermind Im going a little bit crazy over this review but this isnt my game its the creators game                 Love it

Has the potential to be the best I love hard shmups and this one is wicked difficult in a great way Unfortunately the developers have taken the candy crush model making it hard so that you have to pay for more lives this is exploitative I will happily buy a game but I refuse to buy credits to keep playing So Phoenix HD is still my favorite iPhone shooter Ive even bought all of the ships in Phoenix because its actual content worth money not artificially withheld turns        Almost great

Good but every time I close the app it logs me out of the account and I cant even use the profile to get to back to my account till completing the first 3 chapters with nothing Completely ridiculous        Good but bugs

By level 30 the cargo ships are pointless bullet sponges that never drop useful equipment The black market and secret mission boxes only rarely drop anything of value Around level 40 all the miniboss type ships fire shots that seek relentlessly and kill instantly These ships also turn invisible and and invincible for long stretches The only way to survive is to load up on healinginvincibility This results in the ship being so underpowered it takes forever to kill most bosses The story is fairly interesting but the level design stops changing by level 15 or so By the time you buy a decent ship youve seen everything this game has to show Youll spend the rest of the game fighting the same boring overpowered enemies It gets dull quickly        Broken Balance

About 1 out of every 4 session it would freeze on the home screen and then after a while say that I logged in from another device and log me out Right now Im stuck on the loading screen and it cant even log me out anymore each time I press exit it simply drops the error message down again I was thinking of paying some money for this but no longer     Incredibly glitchy

When I first looked into this game I was a bit skeptical but when I downloaded it I was blown way with everything from the graphics to the plot I love this game and recommended to anyone looking to have a Funtime                 Stunning and perfect to play

Old school Arcade meets micro pay miasma Ive played the game for about five minuets and first off I dont care for the way my finger intermittently covers the ship as I maneuver it I simply dont like that at all Also I dont like having to link my game to my Facebook page to play online isnt that what Game Center is for My friends dont deserve to be pestered by some phone game that Im trying out do they Anyway I wont be experiencing the online portion if I have to let the developer access my Facebook account Not going to happen EVER Initially the game seems to play pretty smooth and the retro graphics are ok if you look at the game in an ironic way But already the game has pestered me to spend credits to the point of annoyance This is a game killer for me Make a note game developer In addition Ive discovered that the game wont allow you to play at all in the absence of an internet connection Weak Ciao     Old school Arcade

Dont waste your money buying more lives This game gets way too difficult to enjoy after a small handful of levelsThe fact that you can only retreat a certain number within the allotted time span makes for a game that wants you to wait and come back to even if you know you stand a good chance of loosing again Id say play it until you reach the games loosing threshold then get rid of it           Put together well but

This game is far better than I first thought easily a touch above the other space shooters for the iPhone It combines elements of RPGs with an amusing but unobtrusive story maintaining a high standard of action gameplay at the same time The ads are optional coming in the form of broadcast missions that net you ingame currency relatively painlessly The game itself is fun and balanced difficult at times but falling short of being unfair One of the best time wasters out there                 Time wasting done right

Its a great little game It gives you virtually endless combos of weapons a pathway to get very powerful ships without money and a rather long story It really needs an update There are quite a few bugs           I want to give it 5 stars

First of all let me just say that this is a really good game in my opinion It has a fantastic addicting deep loot system that makes you work and think to good gear Fighting is fantastic This game is set apart by the enemies They really fleshed out the enemy ships and what they can do I think the enemies here are really challenging and very well implemented They really make you sweat and their interesting weapons can catch you by surprise oftentimes I think the way they implemented the use of your weapons is also great Its not only about reflexes and luck but also about timing the attacks that certain gear can access to give yourself the maximum firepower possible The story is funny and doesnt take itself too seriously although it can be ungrounded at times But this games glaring flaw is the balance and difficulty There is extreme unfairness in some random levels with you being swamped with too many enemies without the sufficient amount of time to acquire new health and armor Random levels contain difficulty spikes that took me days to get through and then I would just breeze through the rest of the sector after that And dont even get me started on the projectiles How does a tiny quick projectile do 14 damage and a big spinning one only do 2 It makes no sense Regardless this is a great game overall and with a few patches regarding the balance and difficulty I think it could be one of the best games on the App Store              Great Game but needs balancing

I had low expectations I found this game on a whimused to play Sky Force for a similar game but this game is a lot better Its surprisingly deep and challenging The item hunt aspect ads a lot of replay value to it and a sort of dungeon crawler feel You always get excited when you find some cargo and unlock it to find out whats inside The game is very challengingby the 6th or 7th world i found myself franticallt darting around the screen trying to avoid missles and stuffthe graphics are a good blend of oldschool with some colorful backgrounds and effects The sound effects and music are also very good Good to play with headphones The RPG elements come in the form of upgrading items ans combining 4 different gear slots with custom ships that also have unique abilitiesits surprisingly deep and satisfying yet also still simple enough to play in small spurts and still make progress I also found its easy enough to progress without spending any real life money I occasionally hit a wall and have to play through a previous world or two again to earn money to upgrade my items more but so far its never been tedious or excessive I usually get one or two more upgrades and then get back to progressing further in the game I am not in Sector 11 and still having fun Random challenges and events spawning on the map in precious sectors ad variety and challenge as well Great game guys hopw u continue to update it                 Very fun addicting shooter

First of all this is a really good game It has been on my phone for a year now and its a great game for when youre bored But the only downside is that the cores are useless after you buy the ships And none of them seem any better than the other noncore ones Everyone one the game prefers the Bjorn or Anvindr class over anything why not make a core version of that And make an orangeborder item that restores health on kills would you              Great Game New Concepts

I love it its so much fun so colorful and so lively I just get confused every once in a wile cause half the time I cant comprehend witch lasersrockets Im suppose to avoid but other than that Iv never seen someone I can friend request most of the time no one has an active profile I can friend I play as a guest but have the data save option activated I dont know if its because Im not connected to Facebook witch I refuse to do or if no one really has an active account other than that i started a new game after re downloading played a year ago and it wont let me redeem my last game even though it is saved in Game Center and it seemed to become 10X harder I had to restart the story mode a few times just to get past the first boss If you get past the intense difficultly of the first few levels and wait a few days to earn credits buy a ship and the game gets extremely enjoyable              Great game
