Do you remember the thrill you experienced the first time you saw Jupiter or Saturn through a telescope? If so, Gas Giants is a must have for your iOS library Gas Giants lets you peer through ...
Seriously And you can t zoom and then slide the image to the side Why not It was better in the earlier versions     Impossible to read the names of the moons gss00
I like the app but keep getting a warning that it is out of date and will slow down the phone             Getting old Msutherl
I frequently use this app while observing planets from my observatory Too bad it is lapsing into obscurity                     Great app but needs to be updated Mike Weasner
This is exactly what I was looking for Now I can find out where the moons are at the current time Thank you                     Perfect Cjameswalk
And nothing extra Wonderful little app Hoping they will make one for the solid planets                     Exactly the necessary information Moxie-Michigan
You no longer have to guess if that tiny white spot is a moon of Jupiter This app made it all easy and comes with an EXTENSIVE amount of simulated telescopes to see what your view of the planet will be Before buying a new telescope or lens you can see how the gas giants will look like through your new accessory                     Gives you knowledge of what you are looking at 2ollux
I can see what time a moon or the Great Red Spot is traversing                     Great app Willie jean is not my brother
With this program I can easily and quickly determine when the Jovian moons and their shadows will pass in front of Jupiter This is a great help for me Also when looking at Saturn I can identify it s moons as well I have never been able to do that You can set the time and date to view any 24 hour period                     Wonderful program DarwinTe
Can you see Jupiter s red spot Which moon is Titan I used to look this info up but this app makes it all faster and does it so well that it has earned it s place on my in my Astronomy collection My only minor nit is that if you want to get the positions for more than a day in the future it s a pain you have to change the app settings Why not just put this functionality in the rolling time control with a go to now button                     Nails it W122ard0f
It does what it says on the tin Perfect for identifying which moons are visible at outreach events predicting a future view or simulating the view through a telescope I d like to see a future version do predictions of transits shadow transits eclipses and transit times of the Great Red Spot                     Excellent first version primeclash
This app comes from a dedicated developer and is extremely useful at the telescope It s also great for showing bystanders how planetary satellites behave I can t wait to see where future versions go                     Extremely useful at the telescope astroclubguy
Just got it and it works fine I really like the huge equipment data base It gives me a chance to virtually test the optics of my telescopes before I set them up                     Works for me Kyle Coker
This is a very useful app I like the fact that I can quickly see when the moons will be eclipsed by the planet or when they will pass in front or behind the planet It s neat when at the scope to view a moon blink in or out when eclipsed by the planet This app saves all the time needed to look up the times for these events This app is well thought out and I would have given it 5 stars if not for the high price I have astronomy apps that are awesome and do a whole lot more and were only 99 cents JMHO                 Good app FransMan05
I totally agree with the previous post a very useful app as it is not easy knowing which moon s are actually visible through your telescope The ability to change the viewing time and thereby determine when Jupiter s Great Red Spot is visible is very nice The info page could be vastly improved by providing physical details and interesting facts space mission info about each planet Thus 4 stars and not 5                 A nice app Robert Garner
Not much to this simple but useful app It s accuracy and ease of use is what we have come to expect from Software Bisque and they did not disappoint Want to know how to plan your viewing session so that you will get a chance at seeing Jupiter s Great Red Spot or do you want to know which moon is transiting the planet at this very moment or at anytime during your planned observing session Then this app is for you It allows customization so that the screen view can simulate to a point views seen though your eyepiece It s a little gem from a fine company                     Works as advertised elwaine
This app does the job and shows details that are difficult to achieve within the more complex planetarium programs where the planets are an afterthought Perfect for those public outreach events where viewers ask What moon is that Also useful to quickly visualize an entire evening s events for shadow transits and eclipses                 Jupiter in your pocket ckat
