That a cell phone game could be so enjoyable take you through tons of adventures and be lots of fun                 Its about time

I appreciate a game that starts easy so I can get the hang of it A simple concept but quickly becomes addicting Really great concept nice graphics a great way to pass the time                 Awesome and simple game play

Overall game is more fun than many free to play deals The feedback for shield and weapon state recharging depleted is very poor Autoaim makes me angry a bunch but I dont see a great solution              Pretty fun

Okay first off is that for a game whose obvious method of generating revenue is microtransactions this game has a surprisingly solid and fun game concept You woosh around on a threelane track swiping your way from lane to lane and blasting enemies and obstacles all while collecting gems and cargo that let you upgrade your ship Of course as usual with these sorts of games if youre impatient you can just buy gems and power cores and cash your way to all the cool stuff What caught me pleasantly off guard was the games relatively fair pace Ordinarily in games of this model you hit a point where the next upgrade or goal requires so much grinding that the only reasonable way to make progress is to drop cash which is stupid the point of a game is to PLAY the game not to WIN the game so when the only way to win is to spend money and when doing so skips all the gameplay youre left with an exercise in buying yourself a trophy In Galaxy Dash however Ive been playing for days and Ive not yet hit that point Sure there are the obscenelypriced ships and crewmembers but as Ive upgraded my ship and my crew theyve given me not only better tools in the game itself but also bonuses to my score and my gem income which makes those goals actually seem reachable It certainly has made acquiring the next big upgrade a regularlypaced exercise and not just mindless grinding Plus the game itself isnt mindless grinding either its fastpaced and usually very entertaining The controls are decent though they could be better my gripes in a moment the graphics are colorful and vibrant and overall the game plays like somebody actually put a lot of effort into making a decent runnerstyle game Certain gameplay mechanicslike a lack of posthit invincibilityare harsh and can turn a single mistake into a game over but that just adds to the classic arcade charm usually Galaxy Dash isnt without flaws but for once I feel like the flaws are genuine oversights and not deliberately in place to psych me into spending money First off is the controls As I mentioned theyre not bad but you have to tapandhold to fire while you have to swipe to shift lanes Doing everything with one finger is sluggish at best and completely unresponsive at worst During the more hectic portions of the game I feel completely out of control of my ship and as a result I often feel like a promising run was stolen from me by poor controls Id like to see an option with virtual buttons for shifting lanes and firing I think that would dramatically improve the experience Another major issue is the camera The camera view always seems to be lagging behind your movement and when youre going any direction other than straight you just cant see around the corner and you have all of half a second to recognize and react to obstacles As I mentioned above theres no posthit invulnerability so a cluster of obstaclesenemies rounding a sharp bend can mean instant game over and theres just nothing you can do It isnt even slightly fair The most obvious solution is to attach the camera to the front of the ship but I think it might also be withing this games idiom to maybe give you an incoming warning like an exclamation mark or something to let you know youre about to smash into something Either solution would work My final gripe is with the weapon systems As you traverse this constantly bending windy track the laser beams that are your primary defense against obstaclesin particular the mines that depending on placement you MUST shoot if you are to avoid damagewill only ever shoot straight forward And by straight forward I mean that if you are rounding a right turn your lasers will fire uselessly off to the left leaving you defenseless against the obstacles and enemies veering around the bend I dont understand why the lasers dont follow the track where the enemies are I get that you dont want players to just sit in a lane and fire endlessly so give the lasers limited range and let them be useful It says something that despite these gripes I still have this game on my iPad its fun and I dont feel like Im wasting my time like I do with so many others using this business model Im hoping that these guys are watching these reviews because by fixing these few issues they could turn this game from a passable timewaster into a solid game experience that would fit snugly on Steam or the console arcades Id absolutely buy the upgrade if they did              Solid Concept Couple Glaring Issues

Addictive Listen to music while you play to keep your hands busy FIX THE BUGS The weekly high score resets after I leave the app I want the power cores I earned Levels can get a bit repetitive The brighter layouts hurt my eyes but are aesthetically pleasing Add more ships crew members things to shoot possibly add bosses to kill every 10 levels or something that give more power cores or something give power cores for longest run per week as well Other than that amazing potential keep it up Im half way done with the whole thing                 Addictive Except for the bugs

pros 1 fun 2 fairly well designed 3 addictive cons 1 extremely difficult turns a fun challenge into an impossible frustration 2 tedious 3 check the inapp purchase list before downloading CRAZY expensive i paid 499 for the updated ship complete waste of since there is no significant difference between any of the ships 4 deceiving the most valiable currency is the the power cores and these are painfully difficult and slow to obtain if you want the best ship youre going to have to spend MONTHS earning the power cores or shelling out 15 5 there is no option to simply buy the game outright for this kind of money i should be able to have all of the best ships capabilities 6 WORST no matter how much you upgrade your weapons they never stop overheating after 2 seconds use ANNOYING this makes blasting objects which are speeding toward you IMPOSSIBLE TO DESTROY without sacrificing your own ship Come on designers Dont be so greedy     HOLD ON A SECOND

Everything everyone has written is true its fun charming a great time wasterand marred by poor design decisions The weapon energy indicator being placed right under your thumb is one but the biggie is your shots travel in a straight line Combine that with the rollercoaster flight path and your weapons are completely useless more than half the time as your shots fly merrily above or below the target Not cool when youre coming up on a minefield that needs to be cleared I really enjoyed it otherwise though Not playing for now but maybe a future update can lure me back           Fun but frustrating

Its ok but shots fired dont follow the curve of the track making it nearly impossible to have enough time to destroy mines in front of you and since you cannot simply dodge them as they still blow up from the next lane this forces you to fail Bad game design           Its ok

This game play is absolutely flawless Gameplay is immersive Shooting is satisfying riding is exhilarating graphics is breathtaking controls are responsive and intuitive I have not been frustrated once Leveling up is balanced and does not require real money infusion Advertising is not obtrusive and respectful of your timespace Perks are generous and make you feel like a 4yo before Xmas Perfect in every respect                 Fantastic in every respect

I shot at a guy in a UFO carrying cargo he exploded I took his loot and dropped it off at an interstellar gas station for big bucks before going through a wormhole 1010 would play again Seriously though Really fun game Great for kids too                 Out of this world

My brother is friends with the developer and he told me to check it out I love supporting friends and family so I did not expecting much What I found was a VERY polished endless flier with lots of upgrade options and deep mechanics that makes you want to try one more time for that next upgrade Great artwork solid coding with no slow down like a lot of other games in this genre and its a blast to play Five stars and I will watching and waiting for more to come from this developer                 Very polished game

Ive been playing this for a couple months now after seeing someone from your team plug it on Reddit My only complaint is that the achievementschallenges are very hard to accomplish Ive been stuck on the 500000 score in one play for about half of my play time All my ships except the premiums are maxed and I just cant get enough power to shoot asteroids in two shots but its very close              Fun and Challenging
