It just saves the bar code number Doesnt auto fill any info     No point scanning in bar code

Put in my whole shopping list only to find the edit function is not functional do I couldnt go in and add quantities If I need to bring my paper list with me for additional info what is the point of the app May try again if they fix but Ive deleted it for now     Useless Zero stars

This app is exactly what I wanted The inventory of fridge freezer pantry and whatever else you want to add with the ability to share with other people but it doesnt work Without upgrading you have limited features but when I tried to upgrade there was a bug that wouldnt let me Very disappointed     So much potential

Great app I suffer from wasting so much food because any attempt to buy fresh produce usually results in it going bad in the fridge before Ive used it Will definitely make it easier to track what we have in the house                 Found via Reddit

In theory this app is great Trader Joes is my nearest grocery store I started scanning items in my fridge to create an inventory and have to enter everything manually It would be nice if the barcode scanner would at least pull up the name and category of the item so I could just add the use by date This is too much work to put in all this info for each item I dont see myself manually entering every item I get at the grocery store each week Idk maybe Im using it wrong or shopping at the wrong grocery store Also what is in the 299 upgrade The features of the upgrade dont seem to be advertised anywhere           Scanner could be more useful

Update took away the ability to look at a list for a single store now stuck with All unless we pay I have no need for the recipe function but would like a photo of the item option to help us visuallyled and numericallychallenged ones to find the item in the store faster Scan works well half of the time While the list puts Firstaid items before Fruit stores have FirstAid with the Toiletries reordering is really important Favorites list should not need to be completely redone each time I want to add a new item to it Overall Im thinking of deleting it after using it for a well over a year        Wish I hadnt updated

I downloaded the app and tried to upgrade Cant seem to upgrade from iPhone nor iPad I cant seem to find any reviews other than the one here from Suzi that are newer than a year or so old I sent an email to the developer asking if they were still around and supporting the app but have not received any response Not sure what is happening Could be a Great App if I could upgrade and get support        Sounds Great

I thought this was a spectacular idea as it appeals to the OCD part of me I scanned about a shelf worth of stuff in my pantry expecting to be rewarded with a list of the scanned items No such luck I went through all the motions but came out with a big 0 in the end Im glad I didnt spring for the upgraded version for which you have no business charging until you can iron out the troubles Great idea though           Great Idea But Not Ready To Go

Doesnt hold the list then when you upload a backup to Dropbox you cant get your file back and you get little help fron the creator     Just plain crap

This app has everything I could ever possibly want in a fridge inventory app You can put foods in your storage once that food is gone it automatically places it on your shopping list When youre shopping you can clear all that food and put it into your storage again All that and theres also meal planning and expiration date reminders Theres only one problem it crashes every single time I try to use almost any of these functions Pretty much the only thing I can do is add or delete food from my storage Forget using the shopping list features I mentioned above This has been going on for months and Ive tried being patient before writing a review to give them a chance to fix it but its been at least 3 months and there has been no update to fix this I may have to get a different app instead since this one doesnt work Ever FIX IT PLEASE     Exactly What I Want Doesnt Work

This app crashes every time I try to do anything It worked better in trial mode though limited Now it does not work at all     So far not good

I spent the weekend reviewing apps that allow you to track items in your pantry using a bar code scanner for entry create a grocery list and search for recipes with what you have on hand Fridge Pal met those criteria and seemingly would be just what I was looking for I was really happy until all that I entered literally hours and hours of entering disappeared Im very concerned that their contact link doesnt work on their website the email I found for them elsewhere has not been responded to in 48 hours their Facebook and Twitter have not been attended to I realize I should have looked at these things before investing all of the time and 299 IF they restore my data answer my support email and tweak all of the freezes I encountered let alone the fact that the bar code scanner rarely pulls up information the app would be amazing I hope they can make these fixes because if they do theyll have an awesome app Until then dont waste your time or money     Where did my info go

After spending an hour creating my grocery list in this app I open it at the store to find out its gone     Shopping list disappears overnight

The idea of this app is fantastic It would be much more useful if the barcode scanner worked to automatically add information Instead everything must be entered manually The improvement of that feature would get five stars and an upgrade from me           A lot of potential

Downloaded the app tried saving my first item A sauce in my pantry with an exp date When I went to save it wanted me to again give it category sauce and an exp date and where it was located pantry I tried to redo and the app crashed Ive now deleted it Eat a waste of my time Honestly Have the developers heard it testing things out before you launch Crapapp thats what it is     Crapapp dev doesnt care

I just LOVE the idea of this app Its almost exactly what Ive been looking for and I LOVE LOVE that I can add to a shopping list with a barcode scan That is so much better then having to find paper to write what your out of then to forget the paper when you go to the store so this feature is fabulous A quick scan on my phone which is always with me Ill never forget TP again It would be EVERYTHING I want in an app if I could add MY recipes and it identify what I have for that meal and what I need I agree with all the other comments about the UPC auto fill and the ability to add to the database would be great Id also like to add my own categories and should have an option for no expiration paper towels and ziploc bags dont expire I like it will alert me when I go into a store so I dont forget I need something This could be the PERFECT app for someone who has adult ADD like me My biggest problem with it is is LAAaaggggssss and then crashes half the time when I try to open it I should have read the reviews before downloading but It sounded like the perfect app I couldnt wait to try it Its taken me over an hour just to scan in 5 items from the lagging and crashing Oh and pictures would be great to be able to add also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Fix this and make some tweaks and Ill HAPPILY upgrade           OMG this COULD be the BEST app ever IF

As another reviewer stated this app worked for a while then it quit Every time I open the app and attempt to enter an item it crashes Thus it is completely useless It gets one star for having potential it COULD be a great app if it wasnt slow didnt crash and if it would reliably save data entered by the user it doesnt Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere     Dont waste your time

Im going to have to delete this app I love it and love the concept but it doesnt work I spent an incredible amount of time entering in food a lot of which was NOT scannable and after the last update ALL of my itemslists are GONE I do not have the time to reenter this info It was fun while it lastedworked        Needs work buggy storage areas gone

Takes a bit of figuring out to learn how to work all the features correctly but when you do its a breeze Former reviewers are right it does not autofill info for ALL scanned products For instance nothing Ive scanned from Trader Joes shows up but its not a big deal at all You type in the product name choose a category if you want add the expiration date and choose where to store it in the app ie fridge pantry freezer etc Easypeasy Finally my family can stop throwing out all of that food that gets shoved to the back of the fridge and forgotten about Im deducting a star because the app will crash every so often              Foodsaver

Im giving this three stars even though I couldnt use it even a little bit I tried and the issues were immediately apparent This is a wonderful concept It has so much potential Unfortunately its just very buggy Understandably so the developer is underfinanced I think and possibly shortstaffed Anyway I cant wait to see what this app becomes but for now I will be deleting it and looking for an alternative that functions properly and can be used currently           Great idea but too buggy to be useful yet

9 out of 10 items scanned resulted in no results thats when the scanner actually worked Many times it just plain didnt scan When it did scan successfully the basic information was ok but it seems like things such as expiration date would be in the scan Manually having to enter that is a big slowdown Lastly after a successful product scan you still have to save the item go back to the list select the item again and THEN you can enter the location of the product fridge pantry etc All this extra time just did not sit well with me as most of my groceries had to sit out for too long Going to see if theres some other app thats better than this     Needs a lot of work

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this app I downloaded the free version first and couldnt add anything to my pantry It told me that I had reached my limit and that I had to purchase the app in order to add more I finally sat down to start inventory on my pantry It doesnt matter what you are trying to scan it doesnt bring up any information You have to input each item in manually If I wanted to enter each item manually than I would have saved my money and done it all by hand Very frustrated and disappointed that I wasted my money     Disappointed

This app did let me create storage areas but when item scanned the product only had barcode info and incorrect expiration dates I tried scanning super common items still no title or category required manual entry The whole point was to not have to type in all the info And there is no sync feature     Useless

This app is brilliant I tried using it for two weeks and it is the answer to my kitchen problems Itd be great if it had a few tweaks but its a great start and doesnt deserve the flak reviews its getting Try it out its what smartphones should be use for                 Great Idea Wonderfully Executed Tons of Potential

This would be a great app if I didnt have to inventory a grocery store just to use the scanner Not a fan of hidden surprises like that So if you have the time and desire to scan and manually enter everything in your pantry then this may be your app but its not mines        No database for barcode scanner

I loaded the app and spent Hours loading in all the food from my freezer and fridge Next day I went to use it and all was gone I emailed them with NO response I know its there somewhere because I got my first reminder that some food was ready to expire Went back to the program and still doesnt work Try to use scan or help and it shuts down My list are still gone So I loaded the up date and still doesnt work Do yourself a favor and use another app or write it down     Waste of time

I was really excited about this app Items are exceptionally hard to edit With the latest update every shopping list I input disappears I spent 2 weeks cataloging everything in my house that all disappeared too        Disappointed

Title says it all Used it for a long time before last update Now nothing works and they dont seem to be taking the time to fix it     Use to be great but no longer

When I first got this app it worked great At some point it quit working and I lost everything Id entered Even after doing the update its still not working Ive gotten no response to my email to support Its just frustrating     Very disappointed

Started using this app in September It was exactly what I was looking for After using the app daily over the last couple of months it has turned out to be even better than I originally thought I sent a question to the developer while putting away leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner and to my surprise I received a response within a few minutes Thank you Benjamin for this excellent app and great customer service                 Still love it

This has the same issue I have with the other grocery listfood inventory apps Ive tried limited UPC scan code list It would be good to have an app that would scan every UPC code and allow the user to add to the UPC data base Ive tried to scan a few items and was not successful to get the scanner to even read the UPC code There are other scanner apps that are quicker reading the UPC codes than this one     Limited scan

This app was such a great idea Its a real shame it doesnt work 1 Making the quantity 0 doesnt add the item to the shopping list nor does it remove it from its storage location 2 It doesnt allow items to be deleted 3 The app usually wont open 4 When it does open it crashes looses what was just put in 5 The description sounded like it could automatically search for recipes based on the items on hand Thats not how it works but it should 6 Should be able to create our own categories include more household categories 7 It wont allow storing duplicate items in different places For example I might have 4 boxes of Cheerios 1 in kitchen cabinet 3 in pantry It wont let me log them like that 8 Once I have handentered an item thats not in your database it should be saved at least on my device so the next time I scan one of the same thing I dont have to reenter all the info I really hope that someday this app works well     GREAT IDEA BUT DOESNT WORK

Bring back SYNC Please add search to the at home section Would be nice to search if I have an itemingredient at home when Im at the store without having to search the entire inventory     Add Search and Sync

Very well made app The scanning feature is great The short tutorial on each screen was nicely done as well For new users you can actually add items freehand from the list page Type them into the search bar and if no results appear you can still hit the search button to add the item name as you entered it It took me a little while to realize this could be done This app is just missing one feature I would love The ability to create your own recipes outside of a recipe website and add the whole saved recipe to the list would be perfect Id be willing to pay for this as an extra feature as it would make the app exactly what I need But if you dont need that particular feature definitely give this app a try It is very useful and has a sleek interface and will make stocking your fridge much more fun when you start playing around with the item scanner              Well done

Keeps crashing so cant really review It did sort of work for a few minutes but scanned items were not saved at all so the scanning portion of the apps definitely fails     Crash happy

This app has lots of potential but like other reviewers I think this app is useless without a UPC database It takes you longer to scan every item and enter all the info manually than to just write out a grocery list Plus if you scan an item it just plays a sound and goes back to the menu You have to manually scroll through your pantry to see if it actually added or if you have to go and then enter it manually I regret making the inapp purchase to get more pantry locations before realizing how clunky this app really is Deleting     Useless without a UPC database

Last version deleted all my data Going to buy another app Im done with this one U suck     Not good

I loved it until the update Now not only have my storage areas all disappeared but my shopping list too Contacted the developer but his suggestions dont work It wont let me add back my storage areas     Updated messed it up
