I started using this app the last two days for learning French and now I know more words and trying to connect them to form a sentence This is a great source for language development It would have been better with lots of expressions though and a means of reducing the frequency of pronouncing But generally awesome                     Awesome BoyiSam

I was very pleased with the app and was planning on purchasing the whole French series but today I updated abs there blocked access to all but the first deck even though I am half way through the second I have been recommending this app to everyone but this is shady and I ll try to find something better     Shouldn t have upgraded Twhip111

Hey so I use this app occasionally and it s good if you enjoy flash card based learning or study My main issue right now is not with the app itself but with its notification reminding you to study today I love reminders to study lets get that out of the way Everyone forgets sometimes But the way this app reminds you by saying Your mother told us to remind you to study today is just thoughtless I know that the writers developers mean well and think they re being cute but it s really thoughtless Some people don t have mothers either due to abandonment or death Some have abusive mothers I mean at least give people the option to change the reminder to a less painful sentence             Notification issue PeachFM

The app itself is ok for the first 15 decks if you are willing to pay 10 but if you are looking for something long term look elsewhere The developers want to sell their main Brainscape app and that requires an expensive subscription if you want to go beyond the 1st 15 decks Read the reviews of the main app to get an idea of what you are getting into As far as vocabulary apps go this is one of the better ones the nouns are presented with the article the pronunciation is given adjectives are shown with both genders where different Also most of the words chosen are relevant What I would improve are removal of some of the words such as the personal pronouns and teach those as part of a different app all together in one go Also sometimes a hint on which meaning of a word is meant would help For example the app just shows mean Is that supposed to be cheap or not a nice person I also feel that for the 10 there could be a few more word lists included but at least the app allows the first 3 vocabulary lists to be used for free to evaluate if the approach works for you I think the key here is self discipline and honesty to oneself otherwise this approach won t work too well         Good app 2man73
