Free Micromedex® Drug Reference for Internet Subscribers

This is a great drug reference However it is almost unusable now It prompts for my activation code almost every time I open the app This makes it very time consuming to use and I find myself going to other apps now Please fix this        Great reference but bad authentication

Wish there was a trial version        No trial version available

Crashes immediately on opening please fix This new version does NOT fix this issue And the 5star ratings claiming a reinstallation will fix the problem are a lie After 12 successful uses app again becomes unusable     Unusable on ios8

Dont bother downloading as it isnt compatible with iOS 8 it will keep crashing when you try to open it Deleting and redownloading the app wont fix the problem     Doesnt work with iOS 8

Even after the latest update this once awesome app continues to crash on my 5c and itouch5 device which were updated to iOS8 I keep my phone on me most of the time and if I have to get my laptop out since the app is dead when I need drug info it makes this app worthless Trivet please fix this crash issue     App consistently crashes

I have loved Micromedex for the past 8 or so years Ive been using it and am so glad to have it as an app on my phone I honestly cannot understand the poor reviews It contains just about any basic information you need on any drug It saves me buying the Davis drug book every couple years I too had the problem of the app crashing as soon as I opened it after an update I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it worked flawlessly As for the password thing if you work for or have clinicals at a hospital just go on the Micromedex site there and you can find their mobile password If not 299 a year for updated drug info is a small price to pay You pay much more for a drug handbook that is outdated quickly                 Great app

Completely useless Crashes immediately     Waste

This used to be a great quickaccess guide for medications but now its nearly unusable Every time I open the app I have to enter the password This makes a quick search for side effects no longer so quick Please change it back to asking for the password periodically or not at all        Please Enter Password

Tried re downloading and entering my institutions password twice now The app work immediately following the entry of the password but if I close the app and try to open it again it crashes every time     Doesnt work

The content of this app is fantastic concise and well organized Three years ago I would have rated it 55 stars without hesitation This app helped me immensely through nursing school and in my first months of work as a nurse it was a lifesaver as my facility did not have internet and I passed a lot of medications Now however it will almost never function and on the very rare occasion that it does it takes at least five minutes on my part to get it functioning at which point I might as well have researched the internet I never use this app now I got on today in hopes it might work and spent the past five minutes trying to update the app or reenter my password I used to recommend it to everyone but now I never would I cant even use it     Used to be great will never work now

Im glad my school is canceling the contract with micromedex Its been a nightmare for everyone cant wait to get access to lexicomp     Dont bother with this app It keeps crashing

Deleting and downloading again doesnt fix problem Once you close app the next time you open it it crashes again This was a great app but its now completely useless     Worthless

I used to love this app because its so clean yet detailed but it asks for my subscription code almost everyday Even though they clearly write that you only need to enter it once per year Please fix This had been deteriorating since Truven took over Unfortunate     Expires everydayrequiring multiple password entries

I used this through all of my schooling recent RN grad and it was a life saver but recently it has turned into complete crap and wont work I would love to change this review once it is up and operational again     Used to be great currently horrible

This review will echo many before it but it doesnt seem that the message is getting through to the developers I work for an institution that gives us a password to use with this app I enter this password and gain access but then every few days I am again asked for my password The purpose of this app is quick reference I should only have to enter a password once Because I dont memorize this password or have the time to enter it each time even if I did remember it the app is unusable This means my institution is paying for something that they are not getting This problem has been present for over a year This tells me that customer service at Micromedex is lacking Its too bad too because this was a great app when it worked I now go elsewhere for drug information recommend others do the same and have passed this information on to the administration at my institution     Keeps requesting password
