ForeverMap by skobbler (North America Edition)

I travel overseas often and use the app often It performs well in all respects with the only issue being the location search function is a bit clumsy to use Id like a free form google map like search But otherwise it is a great app              Like it but the search function is a bit clumsy

Ive had luck with this app in the past but recently Ive had issues with it finding the correct address or the address at all It is cumbersome to enter an address and doesnt give you options in areas where cities are close and addresses are similar except for the city It doesnt allow a download for a state I travel to frequently LA without spending a good amount of time searching for it because it isnt listed with the other states The idea is great The execution is lackluster        Lacking a strong UI

Used it once and Ill use it again                 Works for me

Nice to have a map that works without data Accuracy is very good The way to make it better is to have topographical maps of popular hiking areas                 Best Ive found

I just put this on my iPhone it seems to work like a map Thanks for the ease simplicity              GoodMap

Ive used forever map overseas in places where I cant easily get data service such as Japan Its been extremely useful over there Thank you for making such a handy app                 Useful overseas

Cant download all the maps without it crashing 34 of the way through the list Every map I try to download after that is faulty Uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times to try the download again This was the issue I had 3 years ago and it looks like it hasnt been fixed     Crashes all the time

Downloaded for our trip to Italy It worked great We only had internet access with wifi so we relied on the offline maps quite a bit Highly recommend for abroad                 Great for travel abroad Solid app No complaints so far

This is an absolutely amazing app I can easily put my pictures onto a wide variety of mapped layouts including texts and in 5 seconds have a beautiful masterpiece to share Im having a blast putting my recent trip pics on maps I do wish it had the flexibility for HD output All of my photos are in HD quality which seem to be reduced to 1024x1024 Also while there are many templates to pick from allowing me the flexibility to craft my own layout would be incredible This is a wonderful app and I highly recommend getting it now to begin making YOUR masterpieces              Uniquely Amazing

This is the best no data charges way I have found A larger screen is helpful but it is possible to navigate with a phone screen with a dedicated navigator on board Please practice before you need to use it easy but practice makes it better                 What a treasure map

An excellent app with good maps However it happened that when offline you cannot search for cities Deleting and reloading the map fixed the problem Hope it doesnt happen again              No offline search

Does what it says Maps are free Navigation is a little counterintuitive and clunky                 Free maps

This is one of the better map apps available for traveling The latest version is better than before but it still needs much work When connected to wifi or your cell network at home all is great But I bought this app to get out of my town and out of the hotel to see the world At this point the app cannot determine its location and you are transported to the Atlantic just west of Africa by the way it takes you to long 0 and lat 0 However if you are using a cell phone and roaming on data you may slowly get your position but be prepared for a surprise on your next bill If you are not using data but connected to a cellular network the app may or may not know where you are At the very least I recommend downloading the applicable map if available while still connected to wifi And I hope that your travel companions are patient              I am still wishing that I could give it 5 stars

This has worked wonderfully in my travels in Europe                 Saved me in Berlin

Especially useful in towns with narrow streets where some other gps apps eg Viewranger are not accurate enough Address search is also very useful                 excellent app

The maps are not updated very frequently Such as Minnesota is 2 years behind           Forever Map

As someone who cant afford to have cell service while abroad this map SAVED MY BUTT Totally worth the money                 Europe

This is the best offline map so far It give a piece of mind when you travel you dont have worry where is there no cellular Me myself and I highly recommend it Get it if who is on the fence                 Best offline map evaaaaaa

Like the app Amazing that it has an offline option I really wish that the favorites I create on the phone would sync with the skobbler account It goes from the web to the phone but not he other way around              Good app

Extremely hard to use I bought this for a recent trip to Iceland and I downloaded the offline map Was never able to find and access the map due to the terrible UI Use google maps instead Dont buy     Dont buy

If you dont want to wait for a decent signal or any signal at all in order to see a map this is the app for you Or if you want to save on data charges while traveling in your car this is the app for you Once you download a map for your state you take it with you While there have been a few bugs this is still great program              A great app

To me this application is very usefull I always use in offline mode because here in europe we have roaming feesprecise app I think                 Happy with it

The concept is what everyone wants but if you are planning a trip and would like to preload into favorites hotels resturants etc it is nearly impossible The app constantly defaults back to where you currently are making it difficult to add places As others have stated in other reviews it would also be better if you could separate the favorites in lists Hopefully the next upgrade Im taking it to Vietnam and Cambodia Ill let you know how it works           Almost there

Tough to complain about free but It crashes very regularly Awesome that you can save maps of cities and countries Tough to find restaurants and sites worldwide without an exact address           Good not great

Great for traveling fast and efficient There are small towns in Mexico where it had more detail than google maps but in some rural areas ir lacks detail But overall this is a very very useful app when you dont have internet                 Wonderful
