For the most part I have loved this app That is until it stopped sending new recipes I contacted foodily over three months ago and received an auto reply message telling me they were looking into my issue I have written them at least three more times since then and they basically just ignore me The one suggestion they made was to delete the app and then reload it which I did to no avail And so that the review reader can fully appreciate my frustration this is the first and only time in 4 years of IPad ownership that I felt compelled to complain about anything I can live with buggy apps but I refuse to live with bad customer service         Frustrating App HORRIBLE Customer Service Chipster61

This is a beautiful concept and it s a wonderful way to access 1 000 s of different recipes from multiple sources I can spend hours using this app looking at the yummy pictures and faving many of them for use later But what I hate is that in the middle of browsing all of these wonderful recipes I keep getting booted out of the app for no apparent reason It s really frustrating because you have to start from the beginning of your search and then scroll through the entire recipe list to find the place you were at before you got booted If this glitch could be fixed I would definitely give Foodily a higher rating         Love the recipes HATE the issues with the app Blakvelvt

The Foodily service on the web is awesome And then some folks decided to build native iOS apps because it s the thing to do Classically they built apps that didn t need to be built and have nothing to do with the web service This doesn t speak to the fact that the iOS app for iPhone works differently than the app for iPad Sadly after deleting the app and trying to load their web site with mobile Safari the optimized mobile site is sorely lacking as well So great job initial team on the web app And boo to management for building native apps in the classic this is what you should never do style PLEASE go back to the drawing board and either build native iOS apps that do provides the experience and utility that you website does or build a mobile site to do the same but for Pete s sake make the mobile experience worthwhile     All that is wrong with apps josephavellino
