Put simply, FlyQ EFB from Seattle Avionics makes your flying easier and safer by thoughtfully integrating powerful features such as split screen, terrain and obstacle avoidance, 3D synthetic vision, ADS-B weather and traffic from many ...
Just starting to get to know it Like double taping on the map to get info weather ect much easer to read than for flight and the screen is not as sensitive either Havent got to de cluttering the screen but Im working towards it Each day brings new things              Aopa flyweight efb
I used the app for the first time yesterday I was Lawrence Airmap 2000 user but supportdata updates were discontinued so I started looking for a user friendly alternative I found an ad via AOPA and gave it a try It has been easy to learn and so much better than my old system And the airport diagrams with real ground tracking for taxiing blew me away no need for progressive taxi instructions any longer Net net I am very pleased with this app and am very confident flying with it                 A must have app
FlyQefb is fantastic I use it all the time when flying                 Awesome
I love everything about the app except for one thing there should be a quick reference to density altitude when viewing METARS Other than thats awesome              Very nice
I have tried a few iPad EFB apps and this is by far the best Its very easy to use and displays the information needed with little effort                 Everything in One App
Flight planning is so easy with FlyQ Fuel stops winds weather you name it I had a rough running engine and needed to land at an unfamiliar airport Just tapped the chart and got all the necessary information and frequencies literally at my finger tips My passenger was a student pilot who played with the app inflight and mastered the basics in minutes while I was flying wihout ever having used an EFB app and without ever watching a training video DO NOT FLY WITHOUT THIS APP                 EFB On Steroids
I used another popular aviation app for a year and found it useful but I really like the fact that I dont have to pay for IFR related options as a VFR only pilot but that I can easily upgrade to IFR when I eventually get that rating FlyQ efb is very intuitive to use and I have enjoyed playing with the flight planning aspects including sim mode while not in the air I am happy with my choice to buy FlyQ                 Very Intuitive App
I love the interface improvements and new ADSB features The new Charts like sectionals are much crisper than 15 but faster to draw too I like they are making existing features better in addition to adding more new ones                 Great upgrade 20
Excellent visually oriented AP Much easier simpler and more efficient to use than Foreflight                 Dr
Ive been using this app for approx 2 years and it continues to exceed my expectations The customer service is the best Ive experienced Any issue or suggestion Ive contacted customer services about has ALWAYS been addressed Ive even had the CEO himself contact me which shows me the level of commitment to providing quality service and product This app is easy to use and has features that make flying even safer There have been drastic improvements the past 2 years to make this app cutting edge So purchasing a subscription has ensured an app that exceeds other apps You will not be disappointed and the cost is reasonable                 TOP AVIATION APP
Simple but powerful more intuitive than the others this app doesnt get the respect it deserves Its excellent for IFR flight planning on the ground as well as on the yoke for navigating in flight Reroutes are easy to handle and the ability to get I also use it for obstacle avoidance on low level VFR flights You cant beat it especially at this price                 Dont Leave Home Without It
Great product Iphone and Ipad both I have Garmin 420 but this is so helpful for very up to date info Thanks Seattle Avionics                 Fly Q great
This app offers the best deal in aviation flight planning and situational awareness Very intuitive I really like the windspeeddirection depicted on the screen while flight planning Great that it can use so many ADSB units I wont have to buy another one Hope it will eventually include the iphone6 support as well Looking forward to a long relationship ThanksMike                 Mike Kellems
Easy to use and my Stratus works                 Pres
Awesome app After you get it and use it youll wonder how you ever got by without it Seattle Avionics keeps it on the cutting edge They are always improving it and fine tuning it They also have superb customer service Remember customer service Its what a business does to make customers happy They answer emails very quickly and you even get to speak to real people on the phone WHAAAAT Great one to one service Like you are their most important customer Great company and a great application They are partnered up with many other vendors and manufacturers that support flyQ Ive run both FlyQ and Foreflight side by side FlyQ has an advantage Get it Youll love it                 Five Star App
Ive been able to test foreflight vs FlyQ After using a fly Q for the last couple weeks I decided to purchase it the reasons I like it better was that you could double tap on the map anywhere and immediately bring up information about airports and add them to your flightplan the other thing that I like is that you could add your airport plates to your flightplan so you can see exactly what the airport is before you land and last but not least synthetic vision is free All I can tell you from my point of view is it 60 cheaper than ForeFlight and way better thats in my opinion I would recommend this software to anyone                 Best app around hands down
Powerful and easy to use Adding ADSB and AHRS with the SkyradarDX was as simple as can be Highly recommend I feel much more comfortable having all of this information available to me when Im flying                 Great App
For the second summer in a row Ive used FlyQ EFB in conjunction with flight school teaching Greatly improves my SA which is especially important near the SFRA My only complaint is that chart legends arent available in the app They recommend downloading the CHUG which is quite large              Good app
Great app that is very intuitive I have a panel dock for mine and connect it to a Bad Elf GPS unit Great for situational awareness and all the information is right at your fingertips The newest version upgrades are terriffic plus we now have Carribean and lower Canada                 Glass Cockpit on a Beer Budget
Nice features for a good price however the data management page simply does not work I tried to turn off high resolution data to save space and download time No luck I would turn off the switch and delete the data and next update it would download all the data again With advice from their help desk to delete all data turn off all switches kill the app restart the iPad turn on desired data again I finally got rid of the high resolution data But then fuel prices and TFRs were missing and could not be turned back on If you are happy with their default settings great but dont try to change anything           Data management FAIL
Now that Stratus is an option and after the 15 update it has become the best efb on the market Much more simple to use than most of the other efbs especially in a high workload cockpit The rule of 2 concept is extremely helpful Weather and graphics are superb Nice job                 Absolutely Excellent
Incredible amount of information and capabilities in this Really great user interface as well super easy to learn to use Love the weather decoding and map displays                 Absolutely amazing app
Heres my take FlyQ does a great job of presenting flight data in a clear legible and easytoaccess manner easier than the other app the one that starts with fore Steve P and his team have designed FlyQ so that you can get critical data within two taps they call this their Rule of Two And the new version features improved speed and map clarity along with maximized display space which I appreciate on my Mini I have used the other app the fore one and feel FlyQ is better because of its legibility can clearly see if an airport is VFR or not and love the large wind arrows and ease of access less fidgeting with the iPad and more flying Its also a good value I hope youll try FlyQ I did and ended up switching from the other guys                 Rule of Two Rules
I finally decided to make the switch from ForeFlight to FlyQ While I did like ForeFlight I could no longer justify spending double the price for the ForeFlight Pro subscription for less features than I could get with FlyQ When ForeFlight announced their synthetic vision this year I was disappointed that they wanted to charge even more than I was paying for the ForeFlight Pro subscription As a VFR pilot I wanted the situational awareness of the georeferenced airport diagrams and liked the thought of the visuals provided by synthetic vision Ive been using ForeFlight for the past three years and have used the free trial version of FlyQ on and off as new updates became available After making the switch to FlyQ and spending some time getting comfortable navigating through its features I used it exclusively as my EFB during a recent long cross country flight I found the App very easy to navigate intuitive and found that it provided all the features that I wanted in an EFB Im very happy I made the switch from ForeFlight Also FlyQ customer service is the best that Ive seen in a long time FlyQ is a great app managed by great people that obviously take pride in their product Im looking forward to my next long cross country to Fun n Sun in a couple of weeks and the opportunity to use FlyQ throughout the flight Ive already planned all the route legs in FlyQ and found it very easy to use Thanks FlyQ and Seattle Avionics for a great product and great customer service Also thank you for keeping the price down on this app and making it more affordable and justifiable for someone like me that only gets up in the plane a couple times a month                 Made the switch from ForeFlight
Love this program It the best ever for getting the info you need when you need it BUY IT                 Arrow
Only use for occasional VFR flight and would like a cheaper option for VFR charts without too many bells and whistles Otherwise works well I am disappointed about losing AOPA discount           FlyQ EFB
Love this App is full featured with many unique feature to help you easily plan flights and stay on course It does not lock you into a particular brand of GPSADSB BTWiFi External Accessory Devices your fee to choose The subscription price is an excellent bargain compared to other vendors and Seattle Avionics has been the leader of Mobile Aviation Applications for many years                 Awesome EFB for iOS
I have been using this app for two years and find it very easy and intuitive to use The developers are continually upgrading it to add great features I use it on a mini iPad in an open cockpit airplane and continually am amazed by how easy it is to use especially compared to the paper chart days                 FlyQ EFB
I like this app I like the double view and being able to overlay approach plates I do wish I could make binders of approaches from different airports so I can swipe through them on a xc flight without having to search for each airport separately Also the ability to upload my own documents like if I wanted to attach a checklist or reminder and didnt want to scratch it all out on the pad              Binders
I am a sucriber to ForeFlight and FlyQ EFB appears to be just as good or maybe even better Need more time to play with it but right now I would rate it five stars Seems to be very intuitive                 Mr
Im a longtime WingX user and have significant experience with both Foreflight and Garmin MyPilot FlyQ in my opinion is now competitive with all of them and class leading in some ways particularly ease of use Given the app is great value its well worth you taking a look Ive just taken out a years subscription even though my current WingX subscription has a year still to run Looking forward to see how Seattle continue to develop the app              Really Good EFB
As a new and learning student pilot this app seems very easy to use I dont know enough about it or flying at the moment in order to provide an indepth review but it seems intuitive to me I think as my skills and training progress this app will become more and more useful              Student pilot review
The v20 product introduces a lot of improvements From my research between FlyQ and ForeFlight they both appear to be on a par with the functions and data they provide The decision for me came down to the user interface FlyQs user interface is crisp clean easy to learn and easy to use Maps are clear and fast If you havent looked at FlyQ in a while do yourself a favor and check it out                 Great Product
Like the other reviews I too find this app to be outstanding Version 20 is a generation better than the version before which is evident that Seattle Avionics is listening to their customers needs and responding The entire app is intuitive fast and ever improving The 2 click rule makes finding critical information quickly Thank you Seattle Avionics team for a great product at a great value                 Outstanding Attention Detail
A lot of nice features but TFR weather and fuel data are often out of date even after downloading updates and preflighting I have been using FlyQ for 2 years and have not seen any improvements in data accuracy but a lot of other nice features have been added and the price is a good deal but I have decided to move onto other products Up to date info is my biggest priority           Nice features but inaccurate information
I have used Seattle Avionics products for years on PC and iOs Always happy with the products but especially the continuously improvement of the products always keeping up with the others and making the products run faster at the same time Customer service has been exceptional                 Continuous Improvement
These glowing 5star reviews are all fake and anybody with a brain can tell The app itself is decent crashes a lot and is not intuitive but the marketing practices are shameful Earn your reviews dont pay for them     Fake reviews as always
I was using the other program but had to X them out when they removed the auto flight routing function from the program Not wanting to use another program just to auto route my flights requiring me to cut and paste that info into the program I decided to switch to a program that was all inclusive This program has one button to update all flight data before flight and it appears to work great as it verifies that all information is up to date at that time including TFR data Flying in the NE requires accurate and timely TFR data and this program seems to provide that                 Program provides what it claims and has a great support teams
FlyQ is definitely one of the top apps for pilots Its user interface is more intuitive than most and has some features most do not like HITS Pricing is also very reasonable Highly recommended                 Excellent app for Pilots
I have used all of the major iPad apps for aviation For me Flyqefb is the best hands down It is so easy to navigate extremely reliable and has all the features you would ever need including synthetic vision The price is great as well As for the new release 20 I was a beta tester and have been using it for months with no issues I did not think there was much more they could do to make this app better but I absolutely love the new version and all the updates                 Love the app
I have tried both Foreflight and FlyQ EFB I like both but find FlyQ weather and briefing much eaiser to use                 Good app Easy to use
Wonderful App that always works does what it says it does and is easy to learn and use Highly recommended                 tr
Flying single engine is a heavy workload VFR or IFR FlyQ makes the task easier and gives you more time to enjoy flying manage tasks and make good decisions With the intuitive way of displaying information performing tasks and getting to what you need when you need it FlyQ gets the job done I love the airport diagrams that allow you to know where you are on the airfield right down to the intersection Its a great feeling to know you are doing it right on the instrument approach since you can see it on the plate With more being added all the time without sacrificing simplicity FlyQ is the best choice for people who love to fly not spend hours learning how to use it                 Intuitive responsive and designed by pilots for pilots
Its an all around great EFB for the I pad I like it because it supports so many adsb units I can hardly wait to see whats new each update                 Great EFB
Excellent                 Application
Ive been using FlyQ for more than a year and I switched to foreflight for a month Ive reutrned to FlyQ for good FlyQ is so much easier to use and learn than foreflight I love only being two steps away from what I need forward or back If you want only one flying app FlyQ is it                 Staying with FlyQ
I just started flying GA again and was looking for a great app to help me in the cockpit I checked out all the usual publishers the aviation magazines rave about but nothing appealed to me Then I stumbled upon FlyQ quite by accident and my search was over I love everything about this app and while it isnt perfect I truly feel that the Seattle Avionics team is doing everything to make it so The support has been terrific and it has a lot of neat features such as when you hold two fingers on the map it will tell you the terrain between the two points I recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest and this feature is one of my favorites I could go on and on but with a 30 day free trial just try it out for yourself The only thing I would love to see incorporated would be a weight and balance program Sure its quick to do one by hand but this app would for me be the total package if something like that were included in an update Overall though I love this app and find myself excited to go flying so I can use it and discover even more great features                 Fantastic
I switched to FlyQ EFB from Foreflight because of the good reviews and the recent sales promotion Im glad I did as the new FlyQ app is very intuitive The learning curve has been easier than it was with Foreflight and the app is presented in a way that makes it easy to access the different features In addition it worked perfectly right out of the box which is more than you can say for a lot of apps that have crashing problems                 Great app
I have been using fly q for planning only as a student but recently passed my private Checkride so am now eagerly waiting for my ADSB receiver to show up so I can start flying with it It feels more intuitive than the other apps I have tried I am still not 100 digitalso my only wish is that you could AirPrint the airport diagrams etc for my kneeboardI suppose I will get over this eventually though                 Intuitive cant wait to fly it
This app is so easy to use that my non GA Pilot family members will use the app to help me prep for flights and assist in the air As I continue to build up time in the air 50 hrsyr the ease of use increases Thanks for all the continued good work Grizz              Love this app
