It s a great approach It does require work There are no magical formulas to learn a language You need to work at it everyday This program gives you an excellent tools to accomplish an fairly good language ability in their limited number of languages I ve used them all This one is excellent                     Outstanding but KCSherpa

On my iPad the videos play but there is no sound I have checked all the sound settings and they are at maximum and sound plays on all my other apps Very disappointed this was expensive     Issues with sound Jesspope

All the 1 star ratings are from people with problems with the bugs they used to have OVER A YEAR AGO Horsesh t This is 5 star program Best money I have spent in recent memory I am super motivated to learn a lot I moved to Taiwan for my Lady I need to assimilate get a job make friends etc I dropped the extra cash on a good program It was between this and Rosetta Stone ha I was so scared that I bought them both Had a little trouble with Rosetta and was learning way too slow Neither are easy cheap or for people that want to learn casually but Fluenz is absolutely no joke It s hard well done and really really deep After you get to about the 10 15 lesson you start to go faster and remember more The way they make you type it out the way they make you learn chunks then incorporate them into sentence etc it all helps because Chinese is so different than English Structure tones everything But I m really getting it and people are starting to understand me I m finally past the stage where people stare and say Ting Bu Dong means I don t understand 100 thumbs up after last nights dinner I actually had my first conversation with 7 people and they all got most of what I was trying to say I got home and lost it I really can make it on this side of the pond Get it                     Fluenz crushes everything else in Mandarin Sundancesuss

This app is amazing and I have been using Fluenz Mandarin 1 2 3 exclusively on this app and have completed 60 Sessions of Fluenz Mandarin out of the 75 Sessions It is so easy to use and very user friendly You can easily navigate through the course anyhow you want Five stars all the way                     AMAZING davidjewels0

The Fluenz curriculum is really strong i have definitely learned a lot using it There is a lot of repetition involved which really makes things stick A few recommendations that I would like to see with the next update 1 It would be nice to see a completion graph meter showing which courses you have successfully completed 2 Some sort of apprehension test to show skill level or where you should start within the course 3 The downloadable classes have a lot of glitches and for the most part don t work please fix this                 good curriculum however needs some improvements Allen York

I like the Fluenz program a lot and have used it to help learn Spanish However this app is not good I frequently run into issues that make it unable to learn especially when trying to download lessons for offline viewing When trying to download multiple lessons the files get corrupted and don t work correctly Support s answer is to download lessons one at a time but that doesn t address the bug itself App hasn t been updated in almost a year and needs to be to get it up to date         Buggy App Michaelm1317

The app does not download lessons properly so that sometimes video or audio will stop midway and refuse to play or hitting the next button on an exercise will not do anything They work if you stream them but it defeats the purpose of being able to take the lessons with you on the go where you don t have wireless Going to the website to check the help section doesn t work because you re directed to a bare bones mobile site with no option to switch to the full site There s no help option in the app itself There s supposed to be comprehension pronunciation mp3s included with Fluenz they advertise them in what s included but good luck finding them They re not in the app as far as I can see even though that seems like the most useful place to put them         Error prone Loo35

This is an excellent app and I am not sure why people have issues with it I use it on my iPad iPhone and iMac with not problems synchronizing I have finished levels 1 3 and am 1 3 way through level 4 Just came back from Spain and I was able to converse and understand I work with a local university professor to converse and she says I am doing amazingly well for 5 months of Spanish lessons                     Excellent app Junebughiker

Fluenz has the best language learning curriculum of any language class I ve ever taken Rosetta Stone is a waste of money DuoLingo is incomplete With Fluenz you will start actually learning to use the language from day one Everything is in the context of a sentence You don t learn to say useless things like the dog is on the table you learn by using the language to make sentences Huge amount of great audio Way cheaper than taking a class and probably better curriculum than most classes                     Best language learning curriculum anywhere d723

My wife and I are big fans of the fluenz program on our PC but the app only allows the use of a single device we can t both practice our language skills For the price it seems they would bend over backwards to allow us to have access and use the software     Only one device mykl07

It s working perfectly for me even with limited internet sometimes The lessons are beautifully formatted and work as expected Love the app As a side note it sometimes only happened a couple times lags when I click the speak button in listen and repeat exercise But after a few tries it resumed functioning again Thanks Fluenz                     Perfect O'Vera

While Fluenz s computer based software is quite good they ve gone the complete opposite with the App they ve released something that simply doesn t work I m logged on to the app with my account and it does nothing I can t open any language It s basically an ugly screen saver wallpaper As much as I prefer Fluenz to Rosetta Stone at least Rosetta Stone has an iPad app that works     App doesn t work Soho.J

This update is horrible Immediately started crashing every time I started a lesson So I removed and reinstalled the app Now most of the time it lets me start a lesson but it freezes about every 5 minutes and I have to restart at which point i have to repeat the last a couple minutes because it doesn t know where I m at Great course I love their approach Horrible App hopefully gets better     If it doesn t crash it freezes every 5 minutes mmbuffalo

I have an iPhone 6 Bought the program downloaded the app deleted and re downloaded same problem both times I can t even select a language to begin using the app I can select the info tab and that s it after I log in Why did I pay so much for this just now I d give 10 stars if I could at this point     So far it s garbage Tacotoes9

It worked pretty good with just a few glitches until I got to level 3 Then because it is not very well formatted for IPad the lessons where there were long sentences were cut off to where at least half of the sentence did not appear show up on the IPad screen making it impossible to complete or benefit from these parts of the lessons and I felt that I was being cheated out of important parts of each lesson because of their faulty program application I have been using my laptop for the lessons now where I can see all of each lesson but what if I didn t have a laptop and only a tablet In fact I purchased my IPad especially to be able to do Fluenz on it So no there are major problems with their IPad French Fluenz that starts in level 3 and it only deserves 3 stars at most because of this It would be a good app if they could fix this problem but for the 300 00 I spent it is way overpriced and no where near worth the money             Half as good Lynkpro
