It takes way too long to loadrefreshbring up the cameras Piece of crap for the amount paid I have to constantly reconnectrefresh and wait to get the realtime status What slow and lousy app I wish I could uninstall the system and return the device I wouldnt recommend at all Big no no     Horrible Performance pathetic app

I have been using the system and FLIR app for four days now It crashes too often fails to connect to view the cameras and the data feed stops whether on wifi or carrier network on an iPhone 6 intermittently Im thinking of setting up ddns instead of using FLIR cloud to see if that improves the performance Alerts are sometimes delayed as much as five minutes Im debating whether I should keep the Lorex system or return it     App crashes system doesnt always connect

Since IOS 82 came out I havent been able to connect I called Flir Cloud customer service and they said what have you tried I told them and they said well we dont knowgood luck and hung up on me     No connection since IOS 82

Before the update everything was perfect now I cant connect to my cameras from any of my devices Something is blocking the connection Something needs to be fixed Please fix ASAP     Doesnt work after the update

Update Does not work using cell or WIFI connection Gives no error information to explain why cameras do not login So impossible to troubleshoot Tried deleting and reinstalling and restarting phone Didnt fix it Does not work when onsite or remote Security setup is lovely if you are there but remote monitoring is critical feature and does not work This is a nice app when it works However it is hard to setup correctly and works only intermittently Quit working at all once I installed 83     Does not work with iOS 84 and iPhone 6

I love the cameras and the security system but this app is TERRIBLE The app crashes all the time Sends you old alert notifications even after deleting them Very slow and boggy response If I had known the app was so terrible I would have bought a different system This company is in desperate need of new software developers in order to make their company worthwhile     TERRIBLE

The Flir iOS app is a pretty bad example of what a security app should be Unfortunately thats been my experience with most securityrelated apps Companies must outsource the app development to the lowest bidder and offer it as a gimmick to say they have a mobile app This app is slow to connect and when it does it will often times freeze and stop displaying live video feed And that is when you are connected over the local network There is nothing more frustrating than to look at your video feed on your phone or iPad only to realize that the live feed has stopped minutes ago and you are looking at still images Ive noticed that this tends to happen if there is significant movement in one of the video feeds helpful right Motion causes the feed to freeze Now this doesnt mean that the unit has stopped recording video that would be a tremendous fail But the live video stream to the app will stop and if youre not paying attention to the time stamp on the video it could be a long time before you realize it This has happened to me numerous times when Ive set my iPad up to monitor the outside while Im doing other things around the house This happens on my iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2 so it cant be a problem with old hardware My wireless network is N speed with excellent signal strength Aside from the stability and performance problems this app is just plain unintuitive It has a ton of confusing icons that are not labeled in any way and offer no clue as to what they actually do It is trial and error to get the app set up the first time clicking on this and that to feel your way around Learning how to use this app is like a frustrating game of Memory Finally there are almost never any updates to resolve these problems another hallmark of security related apps Its a shame too because the cameras themselves seem solid and well made and the picture quality is good Ive only had to reboot one camera out of 5 total in 9 months of 247 use Im not sure if there are better options out there other than LorexFlir but there cant be many worse at least from a mobile app standpoint Lorex please update your app     Pretty bad for a security app

The cameras work well The FLIR AP on the iPhone does NOT I find myself constantly deleting and reuploading the AP to view my camera images Even then as soon as I leave the Live View screen to do something else on my iPhone the Flir AP Live View will no longer connect to my camera images without me deleting the AP reuploading the AP and signing back in to my account on the FLIR CLOUD And then it happens all over again Poor performance     Terrible Ap LIVE VIEW Performance

If it even loads it never works for wrong An up to date iPhone 5s is even kicked out of the app If it will even load any of the cameras it may screen for almost two seconds before going black If it doesnt blank out the screen it closes the app all by itself Laptop usually will run the programs correctly but the glitches in the phone apps is seriously a waste of time     Horrible System

I used one camera to test and configure it failed within 12 hours Of the three devices allowed I could only connect with one ipadall other iphones and padsinvalid passwordreturned to costco     Camera failuresoftware buggy

This app is ridiculous How can Lorex sell someone a system for over a thousand dollars and give you no way to monitor the cameras At best this works once in a while and thats only for viewing a camera or two when it actually works 99 of the time the cameras are either black or loading something that never finishes loading Im using an Iphone 6 If I had read reviews on this app before purchasing I never wouldve wasted my money on this I wouldve purchased another brand PLEASE FIX THIS     HORRIBLE PERFORMANCE

I like how I can view my cameras on the go on my iPhone but for some reason the app does not connect anymore Really frustrating        Looks good when connected Unfortunately stopped working on iphone6

Works 100 no issues whatsoever and worked the first time and every time I can watch my camera feeds like with little to no lag Motion alert to my phone is super quick                 Works awesome

Ive only had the app for a week but so far it works as advertised Live feed and playback are good To navigate through the app you must first learn all of the icons which is a it of a pain at first but you get used to it Great app                 Works as advertised

I use it to watch three retail locations dozens of miles apart It confuses the feeds from various locations so camera 1 from location A is showing labeled as camera 1 from location B I have to remove the feeds and reselect to correct Sometimes it says invalid password when nothing is changed Good feed and clear pictures for fair price        Confused

The Lorex camera system is a waste of money because this awful app is the only way to remotely view and it rarely barely works Live view constantly freezes up goes black or gives error messages Need to constantly force shutdown and restart the app only for the camera view to work for a few seconds at most before the next freezeup Whoever signed off on this should be fed to hungry rats     Terrible Need to start over

Its very buggy Closes out randomly and does not save events very well at all unless you open each event as it happens Its good to look at live video though My biggest complaint is having to listen to my wife complain about it all the time They should fix these bugs        Barely Good Enough

This app needs to be fixed I have a lot a systems installed My customers are complaining Chinese apps work better This is a issue needs to be resolved I think you guys are better than this I have faith on the product so the app so it should be the same as the product     Terrible app keep failing

Update 42615 Worked with their support but the app is still not working It works sometime when Im on my wifi network but its sporadic Buyer beware if the mobile app is needed if not the system is solid and I would recommend This app is a piece of crap the cameras are nice but there worthless without monitoring and alerts Do not buy Lorex find another camera security system I would suggest to look at the reviews of the apps for monitoring the cameras before you buy anything if thats important to you     Shame on you Lorex Fix your App

App has many issues but the worst is getting all feeds to populate Nine times out of ten I can only get one or two cameras to display Would benefit developers to fix issues rather than twiddling thumbs Loosing customers quickly if they would read the reviews Ill update if anything changes but this company seems to not care about making working software Look elsewhere cheaper systems out there with working apps Good luck        Not so good

Well the cameras work great Its this app that is terrible On the initial attempt I was able to get everything working perfectly That was short lived though The next day I try and use the mobile app and I cant load the live view In fact I cant even get anything to work Every time I open the app is crashes shortly after I cant even get the help menu to stay open talk about frustrating I will not be recommending this product to anyone     Unable to connect

Ive had a terrible time getting all my cameras to show on my phone I am finally able to see them all Try going to device manager then click on the editpen Make sure they both say Main and not Sub I changed that and now theyre all working It could be a one time thing for me though At least Im able to see them all for now BTWit works on wifi and off wifi        Cameras

Took hours of wasted time to figure out how to connect more than 1 device kept saying invalid password Come to find by chance the password has to be exactly 6 characters even if u originally set it up with more So if u set the password to problem the password u have to enter is passwo Wasted time Hope its worth it now after that aggravation        Stupid password

I regret buying this system Way too complicated and app gets operationally worse and worse with time How I have no idea Its really sad because the picture quality is awesome but this app makes the whole system worthless     Poop

The cameras are pretty nice They do a pretty good job for the money If you need customer service youre out of luck If you want an app that works with the system youre out of luck Look elsewhere for your security system Lorex does not deliver on what it promises as far as an app     Another terrible app from Lorex

I just upgraded to this system from a Lorex EcoStratus one what a difference The picture quality on the 1080p cameras is much better this app is much better also Its working fine on my 5s and 4s Great control over the system and settings via the app Main issue I have with it is controlling the PTZ camera in my set up way to touchy You control the PTZ by swiping the screen direction its extremely difficult to get it to end up exactly where you want it For those giving this app low ratings please read the help info andor poke around the options settings in the app              Overall very good

So as one person said turn off wifi bad it works Wrong I did that and it wont show our camera views no matter what I do They need to update this app     Bad app

After you hook all the devices up and the wiring its very simple download the app and it works Im very pleased how easy this is You can also watch the videos on YouTube on how to use their products                 Its simple

So seems good but it crashes every time I go to view a Event List record Every Time Also it takes way too long to bring up the Live Feeds and doesnt always show them all Finding the right Mition a Detect Sensitivity setting so that it doesnt send me Push Notifications every 10 seconds is challenging If a moth flys in front of the camera it alerts me YOU have GOT to fix this app so that it doesnt crash so often every time I select an event to view right now I have no idea if someone was messing around my lake house or if a spider was farting in front of my camera           Crashes
