Well that was a waste of money No update from the dev no wacom stylus support as advertised on wacoms own page They had a note from November in their own blog about the update coming the following week but here it is the end of December and I see this app hasnt even been updated since June Last gripe the pencil function just does not look right its jumpy and uneven Its a shame this was actually a pretty decent paper 53 replacement Same kind of UI and function only with the extra stuff that paper 53 frustratingly decided to leave out Add that to what I thought was wacom stylus support Bingo perfect quick sketch app But alas this seems to have been abandoned by the developer by all evidence Id really love a comment from the dev here This had so much potential     No wacom support no update Abandonware

I believe this app will feature at Best App at App Store You can explore so many different things when you use flipink It will be so much better compared to paper 53 but it needs some proof for UI Design Good luck                 Good

All the basics are here and work very very well It may not be quite as elegant as the other programs it copies but it doesnt nickel and dime you to death either If you just want a sketch book then this program is an excellent choice                 All the basics

There is far more to this app than a simple gimmicky 3d page flip I love that new pages are date stamped and accessible via a calendar view The drawing and writing tools are great The addition of get typing is an unexpected and very useful bonus Having direct access to the camera rocks as well Great for capturing scenes for later sketch studies                 Great notebook app

Works works well Easy to use sketch program Think it will get better faster as long as they hold to current design style Would like to see a portrait mode              Better than Paper App

Wacoms intuos creative stylus webpage claims that it has support but I dont see it in the app itself please fix        no Wacom support

Not sure what they mean by palm rejection as that feature doesnt seem to work Hasnt been updated in awhile which is unfortunate        Decent drawing app but Adonit Jot Touch support is iffy

If you were getting this app after seeing it in the supported section of the Wacom site for the intuos creative stylus dont bother It isnt           No Wacom support

I highly recommend this app and I also recommend an app called brushes                 Great app

Unlike Paper from FiftyThree FLIPINK succeeds in adding excellent features like an Eyedropper Zoom a broad watercolor brush an excellent color wheel adjustable tool sizes pencil marker eraser etc and UndoRedo buttons as well as many other features On the iPad Air and iPad 4 Retina display with iOS 704 it worked flawlessly It exports artwork 4000 pixel wide via email It does NOT work with the Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus incorrectly advertised on Wacoms website PAPER is for sketching ideas FLIPINK tries to be a tool for creating artwork              Excellent features 4000 pixel image export

An amazing app both beautiful and inspiring but really needs features like cutting and moving lines If not that I would really love the option to see the line where the page folds into two smaller ones Thanks for such an awesome app Its a must have and I cant wait to see improvement D              Love it But please improve

Some UI aspects could be improved Exporting to Twitter is also an issue But this app has the potential to be a great one           Still a little buggy

What a wonderful creative application Makes a nice alternative for art journaling and a nice opportunity to to learn to use a new creative source                 Excellent

I really wanted to give this a five star rating although with all the bugs this app has I can only give it three I usually work in 53 papers app but have switched to this app as it had a few more features I was looking for Things that need fixed When I open a new page there is often scribble marks on the page that I didnt make so I usually always have to erase something from a new blank page before I begin I like the ability to draw on photos but the app keeps kicking me out of the drawing interface and into the photo interface as soon as I make a mark So now I cant draw on photos Also the app is too sensitive when trying to leave a page I often end up drawing over important details when I pinch out of a page and the it auto saves so I cant undo Otherwise cool app           I could only bring myself to rate 3 stars

The most recent update added so much versatility and value to this app its beyond incredible Flipink places the creativity directly into the hands of the individual as opposed to other drawing and sketch apps that limit the user with very few features and possibilities This app kills off the competition all in one update AMAZING                 Killed it

The app is a great maybe even better alternative for Paper The only con I see is that red button on the notebook Unfortunately it doesnt look good with all the covers Id like to use Please make it customisable or at least not red like grey or black An airbrush would also make the app better                 Great app

Love this app over 53 Paper as it allows photo inserts and text but the only way to flip pages is to pinch with two fingers WHICH HAPPENS TO BE THE SAME GESTURE FOR SHRINKING YOUR CONTENT SO ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE NEXT PAGE WITH INADVERTENTLY EFFECTING YOUR DRAWING Ugh There has to be a better way        There Has To Be A Better Way

Switched from paper 53 and my sketch paper to this So far I really like all the features look of the app and stability If I could change a couple of things I would make the undo button more easily accessible I wish the pencil tool looked more realistic Its just kind of a fine ms paint spray paint looking thing I also wish the watercolor would layer under the ink pen like paper 53 the text feature in the app is fantastic I wish there were a spell check but I really cant complain too much because the rest of the text options are great              So far so good

Works perfectly I especially like how when you press down with the jot touch 4 the brushes work as they should with the exception of the crayon paint spreads out more pencil is darker like it should be                 Just like paper with jot touch 4 support

Flipink just keeps getting better and better Why do people still use Paper UPDATE the app has started crashing while Im sketching Sometimes my work would be saved before the crash but other times it wouldnt UPDATE2 okay these crashes are getting super annoying Please fix                 Better than Paper

I wish I had read at least one other review that pointed out that the palm rejection for jot touch 4 is broken The app will zoom in on the area where you put your palm Ugh     Jot touch 4 palm rejection does not work

Really no point in treating Apple as anything more than a joke for those of us who want to create content Thanks Apple and your developers for making me feel like an idiot     Another App that does not work under iOS7

So I bought this app because Adonit said it supported palm rejection Well this is not the case Trying to use with the new Jot Touch 4 has been horrible Also app stays in landscape mode and will not change As of now my advice is dont buy this app     Not recommended
