This is definitely made for the iphone and ipod not an ipad The resolution at full screen is terrible Definitely in need of an update           Horrible on iPad

App is stuck in 24 HR mode you cannot access settings     Cannot access settings

Bought this for the new iPhone 4 Doesnt work and still waiting for an update Considering requesting a refund        Update or refund

Should have read the description a little closer No alarm function Thats my fault The Phone No Sleep function not working now thats the developers fault Ill dig around to see if theres a fix for this shouldnt have to        GeekBoy of course

The clock has no settings for brightness size orientation 50 of the time it appears horizontal and the other half vertical until you shake the phone When the iphone is in the cradle upright the time is shown on 2 LINESforget it     Pass on this one

It doesnt work plain and simple     Waste of money and time even looking at this app

This app is just what I was looking for Its simple clean and the graphics are great I shopped around among the flip clock apps and chose this one New version must have fixed quirks that previous reviewers mentioned Flip sounds and dimming features work well I like the portrait orientation too Thanks for this app                 Perfect

Finally an iOS4 fixupdate thank you This is my favorite flip clock app It has the biggest display and simple yet effective graphics I had to switch to iFlipClock for a while until they patched this one for iOS4 Now Im back to stay I wish I hadnt had to spend an extra 99 cents to switch temporarily                 This app needs an update please

You gotta make that info icon on the bottom right way darker or have it fad out when there hasnt been any touches for a few seconds and fade back in when the phone is touched again Also i think there should be an option to hide the ampm Who needs it Its taking away from the beauty of this thing Other than that its beautiful I have a case for my phone so that i can velcro it to my scooter and get driving directions im gonna velcro this to my wall now too as a clock during the day Perfect Fix the 2 things above and ill give you 5 stars Wouldnt hurt to have a vertical mode as well for dock charging Maybe the numbers are just smaller near the top of the screen and the rest is blank black as you have it now              Info Icon

The new release introduced a brightness control Unfortunately it starts out on the lowest brightness so when you start the clock the numbers arent visible and it looks like its broken Thankfully they fixed the responsiveness of the info button but it also disappears at the lowest brightness If you press it where it should be youll get the settings screen and youll be able to increase the brightness Unfortunately the brightness slider doesnt seem to let me reduce the brightness only increase it So now my flip clock is back at the highest brightness with no way to lower it which is essentially where I was before the update Once these bugs are fixed Ill happily revise my review           Great until this release

Yes thats exactly how 952 pm shows up Awkward no Just installed the new update and it seems like an unnecessary thing to do adding an extra digit The flip sound is the only nice addition Gave it a 3 for the graphical change                 0952

My first attraction was that I grew up with a flip clock Beyond that this app is very well executed Ive downloaded a few other clock apps but this is the one I always come back to for its ease of use good looks and practicality I use Flip Clock most often when Im traveling and with it plugged in Its nice to have a clock whose time is dependable and that I can see across the room and I wouldnt leave it on without for extended periods without its power supply I can live with it as is but if an alarm function was added it would be that much more a keeper The alarm setting if used set in the setup screen should reflect its look now understated but clear perhaps a small white dot in the lower right next to a subtle Alarm on Good job developers                 A simply great application

Upon updating screen was completely dimmed Once I moved the slider on the brightness control to full it will not move anymore Now the brightness is stuck in the full position and I cannot dim the display I think the upgrade needs some work Other than that I love it I use this app exclusively as my bedside clock It reminds me of the clock we used to have on top of the TV when I was a kid With the Flip Clock displaying on my night stand a relaxation playlist on the iPhones builtin iPod puts me to sleep and the builtin iPhone alarm clock wakes me different schedule each DOW Quite a nice combination Just fix the problem with the brighness slider Please           Brightness slider locks in full position

Very nostalgic app that took me back to my childhood memories It is very authentic but I wished the flip was a bit more snappy and the sound that makes just doesnt due the rest of the app any justice Go back and research the correct sound they made when switching time and Im sure they will come up something closer than what it is now              The Real Deal

Nice app however when started on a dock device the app displays in landscape mode have to rotate ipoddock to correct orientation needs to be fixed           Rotation Anxiety

Im loving this app but the dimmer doesnt dim the black areas around the numbers enough So in a totally dark room the black areas are actually quite bright I have to dim the display in the settings tab but that doesnt make the black any blacker just not as brighthard to explain And the kicker is with all the dimming going on when you wake up in a sun drenched room you cant see the display The apps dimmer should be able to brighten as the room gets brighter              dimmer works but

Today I opened the clock at 6 pm and it was showing 1 pm I switched the 24 hr switch on and off and reset to 6 pm I love this simple design but the clock should always display the correct time           Stuck at 1

I waited til they added a portrait mode before reviewing but then they made the clock display in a foursquare shape instead of just putting the numbers in a line you know like a clock I just found a free clock called Night Stand that looks good and does a usable portrait mode so i will recommend that Night Stand claims to be adding a flip clock skin soon so I look forward to that This Flip Clock is super nice if you can lay your phone on its side ie not in a dock or speakers They did add a portrait mode but its more for design majors than someone who wants it to read like a clock           Still not right for me

iPhone 3G with OS 401 The application starts with a 24 hour clock when I try to get in to the settings screen the app crashes Settings doesnt crash but doesnt work either in portrait mode I do like the sound though reminds me of my old 70s vintage alarm clock           Sounds works settings doesn

Please update and help        Needs hd and freezes on flip

There should be a Lock in Landscape option that could be turned on and off and the 24hour mode should toggle separately from the iPhoneiPod Touch              A few improvements

The animation is pretty bad it doesnt flip quickly like the real thing it just animates a flip like turning a page in an ebook Plus wheres the sound Half of the nostalgia of a flip clock is get this the sound of the actual flip If these things were fixed wed definitely have a 5 star        Could be better

This is an app I have been looking for for a long time Excellent quality Sure an alarm feature and dimmer controls would be nice but I didnt get it for those reasons Sweet app                 Best clock

This is a great app but there is one thing it needs to do rotate in both modes I should be able to see it portrait and landscape Other than that I love it and it gives me more utility for my iPhone           Cool but

Good start but feels unfinished No alarm is a glaring omission in a clock app What about music alarm web radio alarm etc Dimmer or eventual fade to black would be nice too Vertical orientation for when docked would also be a welcome feature        No alarm

Clunky amateur animation and poorly synced sound made this app about as appealing as a sick dog Fortunately OS 4 is the vet who put it out of its misery No longer functioning with so sign of an update from the maker Flip Time is far more slick looking and realistic and it actually works     This app is in a better place now

Wish I would have known this was not iPhone 5 ready Disappointed the iPhone 5 has been out long enough for an app this simple to go retina The I is also distracting dont want to see it unless I tap on the screen        No Retina Support

until the recent update now it is mostly and hopefully temporarily useless           worked great

Too many free flip clock apps to buy this one The hour and minutes stack when the phone is vertical That doesnt even make sense The bright black see previous reviews Flip sound is too slow     Dont buy

This is a cool app but if you could make it so that 1 you can change the color of the numbers and 2 put a picture from your device onto the background it would make it AWSOME other than that its worth 99              Good but could be better

Ive tried quite a few flip clock apps This one is EXACTLY like the retro clock I had in the 70s Pure and simple AND now has click sound too Thanks for a great app                 FORGET THE REST THIS FLIP CLOCK APP IS THE BEST

Works as advertised however the animation is hardly noticeable With the brightness dimmed down to about 40 percent the animation is not noticable from even 2 feet away On the plus side the bold numbers are readable from even 10 ft away but that animation just doesnt cut it Perhaps a glow on the numbers or a shadow My wife and I both found the animation lacking Hope to see an update soon        Animation needs work

Thats right Must be shills reviewing here The flip is in slow motion and the sound happens too late Also no peripheral functions such as alarm colors etc This is one to skip     Lousy Animation Sound

I use this app with my 3G dock as I think it would be cool having a clock by my MBP while charging my 3GS phone on the dock However everytime I put it on my dock portrait position and turn on the app the clock always be in the landscape position I need to rotate the phone back and forth a bit so that to make it display in portrait mode again kind of weired The i buttion simly doesnt work in portrait mode after pressing the i button in landscape mode and enter the setting screen turn it back to portrait and you will find that the brightness bar will go outside the screen Please fix these ASAP        Portrait is not really working

Really nice application Im giving it two stars for not making Photo Flip Clock an update of this app I did buy this one and I dont think I should buy a second app from the same developer which does exactly the same but with custom photos        Photo Flip Clock

The clock is very sharp and clean but I will not use it at night because its so bright A dimmer would be the perfect addition to this app Also having the clock face the correct way when upright would be icing on the cake           Very good but would love more

But its pretty No frills at all But its a buck Id like an alarm but if the alarm is the same quality as the animation flip noise then Ill just use whats built in For sitting on your desk while docked this is very nice I grew up with a flip clock My dad still has it on the shelf Maybe I should record the flip and send it to the dev team           agreed that animation and sound are awful
