The FlightSafety is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iPad owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 3.0 MB to download. The new FlightSafety app version 3.0 has been updated on 2014-11-18. After a year of highlighting issues within the app FSI has yet to resolve the bugs No one seems to care about the quality of the application IT email within the app to report problems is broken with a postmaster undeliverable         Unresolved Issues two45s

One of the useful features is the QRH Not too useful if you can t use it and it crashes the app every time     Crashy hpy pilot

Previous version worked great and I made the mistake of updating well it killed the app It freezes every time I start the app and causes it to be unusable Sent a email to support and have yet to hear anything after 4 days I have had to download all the PDF files and use a PDF reader to get the required material for training I hope they fix it soon My sim partner has the same issues Once the app is back and working I ll give it 5 starts because it worked great for me     Latest update milled the app Noslenam

After being so familiar with the old system it was initially pretty cumbersome however I m beginning to find my way around and discover there are quite a few functions I thought were missing but I just needed to become familiar with the UI and they re there Working with the iPad means sharp graphics and I m happy with the navigation at this point In fact with only a minimal amount of time invested I was able to use the App in class moving from one file to another using bookmarks and search functions and note taking too I m certain there will be many improvements in the future hey it s a pretty dramatic change from the old but the current state of this app is in my humble opinion pretty user friendly once you spend some time with it An ability to use folders in favorites would be nice as well as being able to import outside files to the app             Bit of a Learning Curve Ruksacbob

I was excited to hear and see FlightSafety updating and expanding their iPad application I really liked the original app I never had an issue and it just worked Once I downloaded the new app it deleted the original app without even asking to delete it I didn t realize that it would delete the original FSI app Extremely disappointed that I lost all my old notes and highlights I spent the next few hours going through everything and quickly realized the new app is very glitchy and not user friendly Documents not downloading properly and or documents like the QRH missing completely DO NOT DOWNLOAD Unfortunately this new FlightBag app is not ready for use     DO NOT DOWNLOAD G-/flyer

I really like the new look The app is easy to use easy to find documents I love the annotation tools Glad to see FlightSafety is finally working on this app again and looking forward to new versions                     Great Improvement from the original version CyrilK

FSI apparently did not do a thorough job of beta testing this application There were multiple documents missing from the app that were in the previous program and some of the documents that were in the app did not function as previously FSI has tried to be helpful in fixing the issues but for the premium they charge for their training this should ve been right the first time     Disappointing Sweptwingman36

Biggest disappointment was rendering QRH into a cumbersome pdf file Not sure why FSI removed all hyperlink capability and went back in time Please let your customers use the old app that had functionality while you work out the bugs Thank you     Old app was superior Moxiemom72

This app was loaded and reloaded by a Flight Safety tech five times and it still won t run My iPad is an Air 1 with 64G of memory I have spent my entire recurrent training with nothing to study with Maybe this app should have had a little more beta testing And to top it all off the contact number for technical support provides no one on the other end of the phone to help They should have not even changed this app The other one worked well If it s not broke don t fix it Horrible app and a waste of my time     Not ready for prime time PowerJ737

Agree with reviews 1 4 5 6 I am in recurrent now and this new app makes it so I cannot use my personal iPad for QRH work Please get rid of this app and give me the old one back If FlightSafety had any pilots test this app it sure does not show     Terrible CL30/G450 flyer

The page rendering is much smoother than with the previous version but I can t seem to get the app to work like I think it should most of the time Where are the hyperlinks in the QRH manuals I can annotate pages but there seems to be no way to remove or edit the annotations once they are in place Definitely need an eraser or trash can for that Right now it seems to be just a document reader         Not Quite There theKAT58

FSI you should have done a better pre flight before the launch Many things are missing and not to mention the QRH and Crew Checklist don t work Only two most important things a crew could have Where are the Cockpit interactive flows Back to the drawing board     Premature AppLaunch Flt Ace

The new FlightBag app is missing some very worthwhile content that the old app had Functionality issues are mitigated using the arrow in the upper right corner to allow tapping on tabs to function             App user 4pilotstoo

Do not update to the latest FlightSafety flight bag Flight Safety has taken a good product and made it useless They have taken the ability to use the hyper links in the QRH away You have to use a different drop down table of contents to go directly to a page Forget about using a hyperlink to go to the next recommended procedure you have to go back to the drop down menu to find it I have G550 recurrent with G450 differences scheduled and have lost all the G450 materials They have deleted the Initial study notes G550PTH G550 PTH plane view avionics W B limitation and who knowns what else     Do not update Djsgdlfuhdnkc

This app is terrible It freezes and stops when I need it the most Will work for the first 2 3 minutes then jams up and the screen freezes     Terrible app Neeragain

All I get are error 500 servers not available Just terrible This app is completely worthless     App is horrific prspilot

The search function and the way it times out on this app is horrific It makes the app not usable in the simulator where its designed for use Technology is becoming a key differentiator in the process of deciding between simulator training facilities FSI cannot afford to have an app this dismal         Search Function Unusable FlyingMPC

On my iPad4 I get an occasional every 5 10 mins glitchy display malfunction in the top area of the screen Also when opening a book every once in awhile the app crashes and I have to restart it It s not one particular book it can be anything I open I d like to see an easier was to swap between a few opened books Right now I have to close one and open another You could save time taps by having tabbed books Plus the ability to rename books might be better ptm v2 not very descriptive when you re trying to figure out if its the one with aircraft systems or performance             Pretty good but improvements needed Jpk5930
