Flight Update - Live Flight Status

Flight Update uses real data from airline schedule to enter info Usual airline comes up or is easily changed then put in flight number Choose relevant cities from list and done Real time use is great check your connection gate before you even get off the plane for next flight                 Great airline App

Have had this app for around 5 years and it used to be pretty nice but lately patches make it worse An example is when looking at flight history it defaults to your oldest flight instead of recent flights and there is no way to change it Pretty sure most folks would want to look at most recent flights the majority of the time and not the oldest Worst and becoming unacceptable is that some flights that I add crash when trying to look at their details Same flights crash if you try to use instant status Program completely crashes I am about done with it and going to look for another app           Downhill lately

I never take time to review apps but this is definitely one of my favorites Ive tried similar apps but this beats them hands down Not only is it feature rich its hard for me to think of anything thats missing And the fact that the Pro version integrates with Tripit is a major plus Just forward to Tripit the itinerary that the airline emails to you and Tripit will send all the info to Flight Update so you dont have to manually enter you itinerary Tech support is excellent as well Love the iOS7 update This is one app I could not do without                 Best app in its category

This app really needs an update     UPDATE

I have the pro version and that is definitely with the extra if you use TripIt I had a problem where my app data file was corrupted somehow and caused the app to crash when selecting certain flights Scott app author was great in tracking down the problem and providing me a fix that stop the app from crashing So nice to have very responsive support for the app I own several other flight tracking applications but this is my goto app when I travel                 Best Flight Tracker App

Here I am waiting for a flight to arrive using this app This app says that the flight will be on time Then I go to the airports arrival information and it says that the flight will be delayed by 35 minutes On top of that the flight map shows the plane stuck at one location over the ocean and heading in the wrong direction     Poor

The information is displayed in one screen and updates quickly with flight status changes              Good basic app

Ive got inapp update to the pro version and each time this app is updated it is reverted back Im trying to get it back to the pro version and its a pain Im deleting it despite the 999 I spent     Deleting it

when it works its useful But it has a nasty bug When it tries to update it deletes all the info it had and then gets the update If youre traveling and have data roaming off no internet this means it just deleted all the info you needed to find your next flight           OK most of the time

This app started off useless because it was so inaccurate Now the accuracy has improved but the gate info arrives at the last minute I get why you do this But I am an airline pilot and to help plan out the trip I would like to know the gate well in advanced I will have the sense to double check at the airport Please put in an option to Hide or Show gate info early Or show the gate info early but grayed out With disclaimer Also the graphics on this app is better than any other Ive seen However the functionality is sub par The aforementioned gate info for example Secondly once you have a flight input the app should draw the route with the current wx superimposed over the route Other than that the app works fine I like the country flags it nice to see the flag of the country your going to        One extreme to another

Buggy plus a lot of features are lost to updates with make corporate ethics shabby Mediocre app deteriorating more DELETED this train wreck and VERY HAPPY with Flight     DISAPPOINTING

Im trying to track loved ones through their flight and the map is not accurate it indicates theyre only 20 of the way to their destination with only an hour of flight time remaining I bought this app I think the developers need to fix this issue False advertising     The Map is Innacurate

Ive used this before with more success but Im in the middle of a trip and Im unable to select my specific leg of a flight The only way I can use this is to display ALL legs of the flight and then just look at the one Im flying FunctionalI get the info I wantbut v annoying     Unable to adjust TO and FROM arrows

I take 15 to 20 trips a year and this app allows me to group my flights by trip store Confirmation numbers seat assignments and any other additional notes associated with each trip Shows terminal and gate info for each flight which helps during those short layovers              Great App

I have been using FU for a few years now Last two trips its behaved badly Waiting to board a flight in 20 minutes and the gate information is not posting Last trip a cancelled flight and two delays were not reported for hours after the event had great internet FU please fix           Somethings changed

Used to be a nice app no longer being maintained so take a look at some newer options        Used to be great

I fly weekly and plan trips as well in spontaneous mode The app shows me all the information I need Sometimes it shows no flights when I know there are some Sometimes when I swipe to delete an app the app closescrashes Overall my most used travel app                 Super Useful App

App will not allow flights to be loaded after iOS 7 update Each time you go to use app closes out     App not working

As an airline pilot I build my entire trip into the app in advance then use it legbyleg The incoming to your gate feature is brilliant                 Indispensable

This is a great application I use it to track flights for all of the people who were coming in and out of town It has been accurate to within minutes actual flight data Weather delays also show I love the live inflight updates maps to track flights in progress                 Great App

I like this app a lot Its a mist have for travelers BUT they need to make sure they are pushing the gate numbers sooner Im expecting to look at the app for gate numbers and changes but it seems it comes much later than any announcement or the review of the departure board           Needs some more work

I trusted this app until the plane I was on returned the airport 10 minutes after takeoff with a problem Waiting in the departure arena I check Flight Update and it says the plane has landed 150 miles away And right now it says a flight has landed at BWI at 530 Im in the same time zone Its is now 510        Not accurate

Anyone that says this doesnt work must not know much about using apps This works better than most other flight app out there I dont use the Pro version but this has saved me a lot of headache As others have said it isnt always faster than the airlines but normally it is Ive seen gate changes in this app that took 15 minutes to get announced That said I always check the boards to be safe              Great app

Not updating airline logos etc this is still the most useful itinerary mgr for those that dont want to use Tripit etc but the others are gaining           Is developer still supporting

I do not fly without entering my flight information into this app A must have for any frequent traveler especially for business trips                 Excellent

very reliable I had an issue when updating to iPhone 6 but Scott corrected it quickly                 Great program

The app was unable to pull up any American Airlines flights by route from Chicago to Houston It does not seem that the app is being supported any longer     Worthless

This is a total waste of money It is to integrated with anything any good applications it is all manual entry Dont waste your time or money there are lots of good apps Wish there was a money back guarantee on some of these useless apps     Waste of Money

I love this app It has a wonderful and simple to read user interface that I love when running from one flight to the next It gives you all the important information quickly and effectively And since it syncs with TripIt it is immensely practical                 Superb user interface

I can never view the position on the map its always unavailable Not worth the 5           Meh

Wtih 14yrs in the airline industry Ive tried most of the flight tracking apps out there and this one consistently proves itself to be the best I especially like how the flights are separated into trips and as you open a trip its only the flights within that trip that get updated Saves bandwidth saves time Calendar mirroring is another excellent feature enter the flights once in this app choose which calendar to sync with and they all appear in it The developer is super responsive Any time Ive had a question hes always been ready and willing to help although the app is so well written Ive not had to ask much I had an interesting issue with synchronization between my iPhone and iPad Because I was running different OSs on each the iCloud backups werent talking to each other This was an Apple thing iOS8 upgraded iCloud Drive and my iPhone was still on iOS7 However the app also syncs with TripIt you dont need the pro version to do this so now my two devices stay in sync perfectly This app comes highly recommended                 The Best

This is a great app I use it everytime I travel It is very easy to use I am considerin upgrading I contacted tech support because I could not find my airline Stupid me the list in the app is just some of the major airlines When I went into Edit Favorites from the airline list I got a TON of other airlines Tech support was prompt with their response and so friendly Highly recommend A                 So Easy and Friendly Tech Support

The latest version takes away the ability to sync with Tripit It pops up a message asking for five dollars to reenable Tripit syncing and but it doesnt take No for an answer The only button that works is the yes button so the user only has the option of either exiting or paying up     Latest version holds app hostage for preexisting features

I fly A lot I use this app extensively and have tried numerous others It is very accurate I was in the United Club and had info on a flight delay before the agent did and easy to use The todays alternate feature is particularly useful I highly recommend spending the 5              Best out there

This app has been flawless until today Given its past accuracy I had ceased to look at the departure screens at the airport Today this app was WRONG It gave me the wrong gate and made me almost miss my flight Now I cant trust it Used to be a 5 star app Whats up           Gate information WRONG

This Paid app is no longer jammed with perpetual ads for neck pillows and travel merchandise This is very disappointing Ive reinstalled and tried to restore but that failed Still up to 4 stars for a trial bit Thanks for listening              Latest Update Fixed It

Im tracking a flight from Dubai to SFO to pick up someone arriving today He already sent an itinerary from another website saying hes arriving at the International Terminal at SFO When I put his flight info into this app to get the status it says that it arrives at Terminal I This is confusing it made me think that the terminal was changed at the last minute or that even though the plane lands at the International terminal Im supposed to meet him at terminal 1 domestic I finally found an online blog written by taxi drivers about how people are confusing terminal I with terminal 1 and going to the wrong terminal because of the way its being written on travel sites Please clarify this to just say International Terminal since the I looks too much like a 1 Im sure Im not the only one who was confused over this Besides that its a good app Thanks              Terminal I should say International Terminal

More accurate flight details than unnamed airline direct apps I just traveled with 3 different carriers and this app stored it all and I could mail my itinerary in one piece to friends family Love the instaflight feature look up a flight to see when its going to land with a visual map showing speed distance of plane great for meeting people at the airport Store all your trips in one place for yearly tax prep expense reimbursement or just to be reminded where you were on a particular day Try that on AAcom they store nothing I am a 30 year frequent flyer and this app has made my life so much easier Thank you thank you developers                 Invaluable for this frequent traveler

Ive had this app for years and tried several others Although others may have more bells and whistles Im just an occasional traveller and Flight Update has just what I need to save information for different flights Ive had a few hiccups with this app over the years but it seems to be pretty stable now and offers a lot of good features Im sticking with this one                 Just What I Need

Always accurate nice handy tool that integrates with the calendar app Good info and helps even when you arent the one traveling                 Great App
