Flight Review

My dad spent all my money on my iTunes gift card on this app     Money

I am a student pilot and this was the most expensive iPad app I have bought Even if it was free I would be still pretty disappointed with what it offers The app is purely a menu with videos as if they were filmed in 1986 The films can be 30sec or 2min long which I found useless absolutely useless The entire thing turned me of the Sportys brand alltogether I typically dont review negative because the app was poor but this was horribly horribly a bad     Extremely disappointing

The material in this app is what youd expect to learn on a fam flight that is the introductory flight on your first flight lesson Only gives a cursory review of airspace and extremely basic info     Bare bones

ipad version is excellent nice video quality                 Good stuff

This video covers the basics and isnt bad but it is spendy For the price I wouldnt recommend it           OK not great

It is a great synopsis of the private pilot training videos However I would like to explain this product is really only helpful to you if you are wanting a quick brief up on ground instruction I wish there was a better explanation of this product before I purchased it I am an Air Traffic Controller and beginning my flight training in the next week Most of what was discussed in this product I already knew from being ATC and for the price I assumed I was going to get more information ie more stuff from the videos such as start up procedure flight characteristics recovering from stalls etc Good product none the less just a very steep price for it           Nice videos

I thought this app would have more information and the information that they have they go through it way to fast For the price it should have had a quiztest I was very disappointed My recommendation dont buy this app till they put more information in this app and put a quiztest in the app     Could have been so much better

I just started I guess its got thats needed as far as reference material But for 29 there is no bookmark feature at all Every video finishes and takes you back to the main menu Then you have to nest back down and find the next video in sequence The flight guide itself has no bookmarking either Wouldnt it make sense for some feature to take me back to where I left off           No bookmarks

Ouch This program will not work with the iPhone 3G but requires the 3GS or iPhone 4 It does not state on this web site that this program does not work on my iphone In fact it shows that it does work with the 3G iPhone I had to go to the Sportys site to see that it does not work So Im not a happy camper I bought the program but cant evaluate it since I cant run it So so far I dont like it Maybe Ill change my mind if I get a newer phone or a patch is created that permits it to run on my existing phone        Missleading marketing Wont work with a 3G iPhone

Pretty cool app great info on weather a little expensive but I guess its worth it since I can take this anywhere rather than carry a huge text book to review stuff I looked at buying this app for about two days and finally caved If youre on the fence just but it                 Great but too expensive

I have trusted Sportys with a lot of flight items and have now purchased three of their iPad apps including Flight Review On my iPad there is NO AUDIO at all When I use AirShare I have audio just fine on the television just never on the iPad kind of tough when you want to study on the fly with your iPad the information is good and helpful just not without the audio Until that is corrected I cant see it being the iPads fault as the rest of my video and iTunes work just fine just not all three of the Sportys Apps I purchased then Ill give it a higher rating But not until then     All Sporty Video Apps Have No Audio

I have always had great results with Sportys however they have lost my faith This app will not work on the 3G iPhone I receive a video not supported message This is poor marketing and now I will doubt any purchase from Sporty that I might consider in the future A waste of 2999 for me     Dont buy unless you have a iPhone 4 wont work with 3G iPhone

Good videos but expensive Needs a continuous watch feature a little annoying to have keep selecting a new video to watch           Ok

I bought this to show some different material for my students but in my opinion its a bit too expensive for what you get Its preeeetty shortIt would also be nice if they let you play all the videos from the section instead of clicking on each individually Id have to only give 2 stars for not having quite enough material at this price        Too expensive for what you get

A little pricey but well worth it Videos are short but to the point and give you all the information you need Dont let the price discourage you from getting itits worth it                 Great tool

The quiz is a GREAT addition and I love the way you can go directly to the applicable video clip if you are unclear on an answer Great job keep up the good work                 LOVE the addition of the quiz
