Flag Football Playmaker

Bought this app and it mentions you can name all the players which is great However if you create a different play for another group of kids and change the names it changes the names on the first play you created as well So basically you cant name the players if you have any subs because it constantly keeps changing the names back and forth If I would have known that I would have never purchased        Frustrated

Ive been using this app for 3 seasons Its terrific Even better are the people behind the app Ive contacted them several times to recommend new features Very responsive and they actually coach youth football                 The best app backed by responsive customer service

I use this for simple 66 youth 1113 yo plays and keeps my roster and rotations organized too Just waiting for update to print names on plays then this will be 5star              Great app Very easy

Great app It is fun to use and has a lot of nice features Having used it for a few weeks there is 1 thing I would strongly recommend to make this a 5 star app I dont always use the same boy as QB or Center for example but when I change the players on one play the changes also take affect on ALL of the other plays This negates the feature that allows assign names to the players Once I am done with a play DONT TOUCH IT Especially dont automatically change it when I am modifying another play This is huge I hope it will be updated soon              Fun to use but missing one feature

I just upraded to pro and i am really enjoying it The last dot uprade really brought a lot of needed tweaks Few suggestions 1 There should base formations for each set playbook not just one for offense and defense 2 I wish there was a way to share your plays through other applications other than just email ex Facebook twitter group me 3 On offense or defense being able to draw up a play with both sides of the ball would really great I play quarterback and being able to get my teammates on the same page has been a challenge for me With this app it made it so much easier Thanks              Really good

I have used this app for two years and it is great It allows for fast play creation and changes on the fly We send out the game plays to the team for the week and it saves time at practice Excellent app                 An excellent way to communicate with the team

Easy to learn Flexibility to customize plays for your leagues rules is great Labeling and color coding the positions allowed 3rd graders to understand and run plays in our first practice with mostly first time players Im very impressed and I recommend the Pro version The support is also very responsive and helpful I think youll have a lot of fun and success with this tool                 Great tool

Only 2 problems you cant draw curved shapes and Im having trouble with some of my playbooks not getting emailed fully Besides that I love this app well worth the 15 upgrade              Very good

Looks good but missing notes pages with plays and I have not yet figured out how to add defensive players to my offensive plays to get placement just right Get me that info or fix it and the money spent might be worth it           Ok so far

Great app but keep going So much more you could including curved lines iCloud or Dropbox sync for multiple device sync multiple templates to save ability to copy or duplicate plays reverse plays without flipping positions eg wide receivers more print options more share options etc etc Love the app but would love to see more              Very Good Keep Going

Great app but very expensive to upgrade to the pro version The option of flipping a play is great but one thing to help improve the app would be the ability to make an exact copy of a play Then you could flip the play and save it in the opposite direction              Expensive

I have been coaching flag football for 3rd and 4th graders for the past three years The first year we didnt win a game and I tried to use printed plays in a notebook Last year I found this app and used it We havent lost a game since I have used this to run our offense Our team won the championship last year and we are 40 so far this season The kids love it They see their name on the screen and know exactly what to do when they break the huddle The app will not make your kids run faster or catch the ball every time but it gives them the confidence to execute their role on the team because they arent second guessing themselves on the line of scrimmage if you coach flag football and dont utilize this app you are crazy                 This App wont guarantee a win but it sure helps

All it is missing is animation There should be a preview mode to show how the plays should be ran That would take this app over the top           Animation

I coach younger kids and the ability to show their names on positions is huge Saves so much time in the huddle They also think its cool                 My favorite coaching app

The Ap is okay why cant you draw in curve shapes 15 is 10 too much           Just Okay WAY Overpriced

I recently had a 5hour flight to Los Angeles and I was able to create about 25 new plays for our youth flag football team The duplicate and duplicate and flip feature make it very easy to create multiple formations and switches I cannot wait to share with our coaches                 Conveniently creative

Love the app but it needs a few updates 1 The player list should be removed from the field of view to utilize the entire space on iPad 2 The options for player coverage direction and routes should be the same for defense as offense Many more options available for offense 3 The line of scrimmage should have the option to move it up or down for more space 4 Maybe Im doing it wrong but I cant get the plays for the wrist band to send with the green field for printing even though it shows its in green format Other than that very easy              Great App but needs improvements

Im in my third year of coaching flag football and I love the Flag Football Playmaker app Its great for designing plays and for teaching the kids their routesduties on each play Kids today are visual learners and this app has saved me valuable time during practice and in the huddle Also if you have a problem the support team is very prompt and has always answered my questions     Love it

This App works great but crashes every time I try to delete Pass Plays when trying to edit the Offensive Plays categories Im trying to do this because Im unable to prioritize the categories list S I was going to delete and then create new ones in the order I want Not the best option just the only one If you guys could fix this then this would be great Would also like to have quarterback lines go squiggly in more then one direction to show a double fake then pass           Crashes

This is a great app for coaching youth flag football Just getting ready to start our season so it hasnt been game tested yet but is easy to use and a great way to draw up and test plays The ability to print out playbooks and wristband cards is huge We will most likely not use the iPad at games because of the difficulty seeing the screen in the bright sun and because the weather is unpredictable There are only a couple of features I would add Because this is for flag football it should have a way to add a route to someone who has pitched the ball ie the QB pitches to HB and then runs a route himself The other feature this needs is the ability to show handoffs and fakes                 Cooler than a coaching clip board

I was given an opportunity to coach my brothers flag football team along with some of my friends and this app led us first time kid coaches against a group of experienced adults to a close semifinal loss The app makes our plays easy to make and easy for the kids to understand The wristband print allowed us to implement a high tempo offense that kept teams off guard And plays were easily able to be called from the sidelines as I called out defenses and the others called out offensive plays Overall good app maybe an option to add the option toss                 Great App

Cannot get notes to print cannot get the wrist band info to PDF and email correctly it just sits their and stalls Like the overall concept but for the price not being able to print PDF wrist band and playroom notes is a waste of time and investment        Play book

As a flag football coach for 1011 year olds I was searching for an easy to use app that would help me start running plays as fast as I could The fact that you can color code players and print wrist bands can have your team practicing plays on the very first practice Very well thought out Thanks                 Great App

I agree with points 1256 in review 20 Also if you can add the ability to insert editable positions like LG into the circles that today have XYZ This would be ideal Today I have to use roster to add position data then there is no option to print it with the plays So if you can add either way it would be great Please bring on theses fixes before the end of our season Thanks              Agree with review 20 plus

I coach middle school kids and this made it super easy to create the plays print them for the wristbands and share the playbook with the coaches I was up and running creating plays in seconds The tutorials are fantastic and the customer service is quick and responsive                 Love it

Great app for the money Works awesome for youth 5v5 can color code rather than typing in names of players and getting ready to try it out with adult 8v8 Being able to share the playbook and import it from other users is saving a lot of time which is a nice new addition                 great app

Life saver doesnt really even begin to describe this app Plays are easy to design and change on the fly even in the huddle on a game winning drive at one point This app keeps me organized and my players focused and has helped our teams over the last 4 years win 3 championships I generally stay away from expensive apps but this one is worth every penny                 Life Saver

Ive used the PRO version of this app in two seasons of 6 7 year old 5v5 flag football For offensive play calling it is exceptional I can diagram virtually any play reverses options motion etc quickly easily and most importantly understandably for the kids We huddle they look at the play find their name and instantly know where to line up and what to do Making personnel changes on the fly is also painless just drag and drop any name on the roster And if I cant make a practice or a game I can email the play book to my assistant coach to print out and use I havent found it as useful on defense but that side of the ball is typically less complicated and the benefits of this app arent as important The cost made me hesitate but I have absolutely gotten my moneys worth Solid tool good purchase                 Exceptional Youth 5 v 5 App

Needs few key added features 1 ability to copypaste need to be able copy made play to use as base for next one made 2 drag and drop moving a play from one category of play to next 3 text entry be able to place anywhere underover a pattern to give it a name or yardage distance 4 ability to turn on yardage markers possibly dotted lines that denote 5 10 15 20 25 yards from line of scrimmage option to include when printing 5 all text added needs to print 6 option to use multiple color options for routes that can match the color of the player circle Expensive for base product Expecting added features Thanks for great start              Great base product

My only suggestion is That my team that Im making arm bands for only needs 3 plays per row which would make a total of 6 plays on a wrist band play sheet Could you make the possibility of having those 3 plays stretch across the play sheet filling in all possible space rather than leaving that blank spot on the side Till then 4 stars              Love it

The app is great but it would be nice when emailing or sharing plays to be able show print out the roster names and assignments for the various players both offense and defense This is baffling to me but its still a nice app Use it for 8 year olds and they love it              Please show position names when sharing

This is simply a great easy to use tool This has made coaching my flag football team a lot easier The developer has been extremely responsive to questions and suggestions I would and am recommend this to anybody who is coaching as a must have tool                 Incredible tool

Great app on many levels Organization multiple play books and categories are awesome The interface is very well thought out and intuitive Its so easy you dont need the videos Couple of feature requests that would help 1 be able to select multiple categories This would help better organize a narrow down plays when searching 2 Reduce size of the dots 2550 or have user defined scale option The dots are way to huge on the ipad No way to show a true spread out formation 3 have a toggle for the player screen on left Wasted space that could be used for drawing plays Thanks                 Great App 45 stars
