Used this app on my IPhone and IPad to prep for FCC elements 1 3 and 8 Questions are exactly the same as the test Testing center only gives a pass fail grade but I know I scored in the high 90s as the questions seemed very easy because I had seen them all before I used Dauntless test prep apps for all 3 of my FAA A P written exams and private pilot written exam All have been great apps Currently using app for my instrument flight prep The FCC app could use better explanations for wrong answers like the aviation apps have                     GROL Test prep Petrichtr

Unfortunately this app does not explain why the answer choices are correct or incorrect I would strongly recommend to the developer collaboration with someone like Gordon West All of Mr West s books that I ve used so far have not just the questions and correct answers but he explains in detail why the answer choices are correct or incorrect this ensures not merely rote learning of the answers but comprehension level learning of the concepts underlying each answer and some may even achieve correlation level learning if they already had some understanding of electromagnetic physics I gave this app three stars because all the other basic expectations of an app are met e g correct English good graphics legitimate brand etc With enough practice on this app it is quite possible to memorize enough answers to pass the test and for some that s good enough If you take your profession seriously passing the test should not be enough to satisfy you professional pride and it will certainly not be good enough to do your job well in situations when the skills this test is supposed to examine will matter most             Needs Work E. This flash card program offers answers to questions but no explanation for answers While it does take advantage of the Leitman system for organizing your cards you are on your own if you desire an explanation Expect rudeness and sarcasm if you must contact the app publisher         ok product dissapointing service does it just work?

I have this app on my iPhone and iPad Though I am studying hard Element 3 is still a bit of a challenge however passing the GMDSS was a breeze Very easy to use and just like the actual exam I also have the PC version but actually prefer the i versions better It may seem a bit pricey but is well worth the investment Dauntless also keeps their Q A database right up to date and quickly corrects any errors that might get into the data Please keep in mind this is TEST PREP software and will not teach you the reasons and theory behind the answers But even with a good sound background in theory sometimes exam fright can get to you and that is where this app will serve you best Consistently scoring in the 80 s with Dauntless software will virtually guarentee a passing score on the FCC exam                     Handy app for study and exam prep Gregg7
