Fitbit Finder: lost Fitbits found quickly

If you have a Fitbit zip this app wont do you anything for you I lost my Fitbit zip and read some of the reviews on this app which all seemed very positive so I bought it thinking it would be worth it However it turns out if you have a Fitbit zip the only way this app can catch its signal is if you physically tap the Fitbit to wake it How are you supposed to find your Fitbit zip if you have to physically tap it in order for the app to work Im not sure about other Fitbits but if you have a zip dont waste your time or money     Unhappy

Waste of 5 Would not even locate the one on the arm of my wife sitting right next to me Would give it a zero if I could     POS

Crazy story lost my Fitbit in the tsa line at the conveyor belt Leave and come back 2 mins later when we realize Pre check was empty so I was hopeful to find it but no luck after looking for awhile I then figure I should try to pair it to my phone Try it and then know for sure it was moved Start walking there the terminal trying to pair it 20 gates so not crazy Find it then lose it then again I realize that the person is moving around probably an employee So I start tracking a few of them and it finally clicks I talk to him and he says he has no idea I grab 2 cops and show them We start following him as I prove the sync mechanism to them The guy knows something is up darts into a employee door before we can confront him He comes out a couple of minutes later We catch up to him and he tells the cops he has no idea and I notice that it is no longer syncing So we go check out the employee are which is like a toilet paper supply room a bathroom and a garbage disposal We look for awhile but cant find it even though the phone is syncing I download an app called Fitbit finder and it is really helpful leads us to under a rack of paper on the floor of the baghroom He threw it under there How crazy Cops wanted me to press charges and when I told them I had to catch a flight they were bummed Pretty cool though Washed the band in the bathroom and am good to go                 Tracked down stolen FitBit

Desperate to find one of our two Fitbits I purchased this app It appears to find something but gives little or no indication what it sees I picked up my known Fitbit One and set it on a table 3 ft from my iPad and see the same random lines that I see when it is at the other end of the house 100 ft and 1 floor away I have better results just trying to sync from my iPad dashboard app        Wasted money

I had a fully charged lost Fitbit within 5 feet of using this app at it did not pick up a signal Disappointed     Didnt work

This app does not WORK My wife was trying to be nice and bring my fit bit charge HR to me from upstairs because it was FULLY CHARGED And she misplaced it I said ok its in the house because you havent gone anywhere I finally buckle down and purchase this app after reading a review of how it so amazingly found a fit bit outside in the yard My house is quite smaller than a yard so this should be easier done than said I was so wrong I used this app for 3 hours and didnt get one ping at all Walked around my entire house and there was nothing You can say The people that have had success with this app Its not in your house then but I wanted to make sure the app was working So I take my wifes fit bit and I sit the phone on top of it and I scan Surely I will get something right the fit bit is right under the phone You couldnt get a fit bit closer Right Wrong Nothing Tried it several times from several different distances and nothing pinged even though the fit bit was right there Stop lying to these people saying that it works when it doesnt 5 bucks wasted Light blue got me closer and actually gave me a ping but it goes in and out so I still havent been able to pin point my fit bit so just pray for me that I find it Thank for reading my long story Stop lying Its a sin     Stop lying to these people

I bought this app shortly after I got my FitbitHR It has never worked Fortunately I have never lost my Fitbit but if I did I would be SOL Ive tested it repeatedly with the Fitbit about an inch from my phone and it always says cant find it Very aggravating since I paid 5 for it and I think it is an app that I might really need Im using a IPhone 6 with the latest updates Ive tried turning off the phone and reloading the app and nothing works Dont waste time clicking on support     Can I give it Zero Stars

I scanned within a foot of my Fitbit And it registered nothing I finally found it on my own under a cabinetno help from this scanner It cant even detect it sitting on my wrist RIGHT NOW Save your money Rip off     Total waste

I lost my Fitbit One inside my home I could sync it from many rooms but could not find it after three days of searching I used other free apps that had pretty decent reviews Each one had similar signals in all eight rooms After purchasing this app I decided to try it in my basement The strongest sound was near the top of my elliptical but got lower at the bottom I held it by the ceiling for the best signal Went upstairs to the kitchen and set off a silent alarm Heard it vibrating underneath the stove Thanks to Fitbit Finder for maintaining my sanity                 Amazing

The signal level indication does not work Without it you dont know if you are getting closer to or further from the lost fitbit Save your money and find something else that works        Signal level indication does not work

Garbage garbage garbage Light blue Le found my Fitbit After I found my Fitbit I scanned Fitbit finder to see what would pop up and with my Fitbit next phone I did a scan and Nothing Garbage I could have used those 5 to buy my kid a happy meal     Garbage

I bought this app and went from room to room searching for my lost fitbit I kept getting the Sorry no activity trackers nearby message I finally gave up using the app and ended up finding my fitbit in the laundry basket It was not more than 3 feet away from the phone while I was using app and it couldnt find it Even now with both side by side it still cant find it     Save you money it doesnt work

I ran this app five feet away from my wifes fully charged Charge HR and it said no trackers nearby every time I refreshed it hint it was on her wrist Mine still missing but nearby somewhere according to Fitbit app Save your money     Useless

This was a complete waste of money I eventually found my lost fit bit on my own After finding it I tried the app out of curiosity and to no avail It reads nothing even when Im holding the fitbit right beside the phone     Does not work

I lost my Fitbit Charge in Walmart and went back to look for it about an hour later This app never went beyond saying its nearby check another area I got another app and it was tracking it closely I never found my Fitbit but this app just doesnt work After I got a replacement Charge I decided to test the two apps Fitbit Tracker never responded even when I laid Id right on top of my phone I have now deleted it from my phone     Fitbit Finder is useless

Bought this app today in a panic Good thing I found it myself on the rug by the door because this app was useless Indicated no signal anywhere in my house After checking to see that the battery was full I tried it again Did not indicate signal even when next to the Fitbit on my wrist No tech support that I could find Not useful even in the future     5 bucks down the drain

I lost my Fitbit Flex while moving into my new house I had no idea where it was as for we had move so many boxes and items throughout the day Nearly a week after losing it I went into my Fitbit App and saw that it was still syncing with the actual Fitbit which is only possible if they were within Bluetooth proximity This excited me and prompted me to go online to see if there was a way to track the device I came across this app and after reading a few reviews I coughed up the 5 and downloaded it Less than 10 minutes later I was reunited to my Fitbit It had fallen into a bag of winter clothes which would have been packed away for months This 5 investment was much better than the price to replace my Fitbit BUY IT and dont be too lazy to keep scanning and digging                 Deserves 10 Stars

I wanted this to work but ended up setting a silent alarm on my Charge and found it by listening to the vibration This app didnt even pick it up at all and even with it right next to the phone still wasnt getting anything Someone else said it didnt work with their Charge so maybe it is a glitch or something     Doesnt work with Charge

I lost my FitBit I thought in my house After looking with no luck I decided to by this app It did not locate my FitBit and it also did not ping for my daughters even though she was standing next to me It turns out my FitBit fell off at the doctors office I picked it up and decided to test the app With my FitBit in my hand next to my phone I never got a ping Dont waste your 5     DOES NOT WORK

I thought I knew the general location of my lost Fitbit my route from car to work and may have found my Fitbit without this app but this help me find it faster and before it got run over by cars a few more times Thank you                 Saved me from a lost Fitbit

They dont tell you that it wont find a Fitbit Charge At least I didnt see anything when I was trying desperately to find my missing Fitbit Charge I lost that one forever and have a new one and am sitting right next to my phone with my Fitbit Charge on my wrist and the Fitbit Finder app cannot it     App stinks Cannot find Fitbit Charge

While the details of the app does not mention the Fitbit Charge by name it does say it supports the Fitbit platform It DOES NOT Both my wife and I have a Charge and I can be holding the iPhone with the app running and my Charge on my wrist and it sees nothing Shame they cant be up front about it and say it doesnt work with a Charge Save your money     Useless Fitbit w Charge

I lost my Fitbit this past weekend I read reviews for this app was encouraged by other users reviews I had no luck whatsoever with finding the Fitbit despite it being fully charged As luck would have it I found it without the app despite being within a foot of its location The app gave me no read on the location Wish I could get my money back     Didnt work for me

I bought this finder that was supposed to pick up on my devices radio signal I sat on my sofa trying to use this stupid Fitbit finder only to find out a couple of hours later that I was less than 2 feet from it and this dumb app didnt pick it up It was under the sofa pillow right next to me If I could get a refund I would     Less than one star

I bought this app in hopes of finding my fully charged Fitbit flex I searched multiple times with this app Nothing I found it on my own less that ten feet from where I was scanning Still nothing So I decided to do some tests You must be VERY close for this app to work You might find a Fitbit if you were within 3 feet of it If I were within 3 feet of my Fitbit I would just pick it up This app is not worth 499 Please do not buy it     Doesnt work

I did all I could on the free side I knew my fitbit was close because it was syncing I downloaded LightBlue which gave my a more precise place to look Still no luck Set a silent alarm several times Nothing Then I forked over the 5 bucks and bingo I was putting clothes away in my closet and my Fitbit came off getting sandwiched between some items I had thought I went through the closet pretty thoroughly before with Lighblue but this app pinpointed the location exactly Lightblue was guiding me to the floor took out and searched all my shoes for nothing This app correctly led me higher Thank you Saved my Fitbit and my sanity                 Totally worth it

This app does not work Downloaded it to help find my Fitbit The reading kept coming back as no activity when in fact the Fitbit was less than ten feet away Save your money It does not work     Does not work

Downloaded this to try and find my One that was left in LAX security but it just scans for ANY Fitbit not just yours so good luck tracking it unless youve just left it in a room in your house     I want my 5 back
