I used this app to help me train for my first triathlon Im a complete newbie to the world of multisports and really needed a training plan for a beginner I just completed my first triathlon on Saturday and it was an awesome experience I even placed 3rd The tips in the app were extremely helpful and the specific training exercises were crucial The best part of completing my first Tri was that I was not in any pain nor sore by the second day afterwards On the contrary I actually felt stronger Thanks Jammyco for providing this app for beginners Im looking forward toy next Tri in 11 weeks Sincerely LD                 Great Training
I used this for my first Tri this past weekend I started out as a couch potato 4 months before race I used the c25k app to get up to a 5k run and used the swim and bike workouts in the first couple of weeks of this app for the first month With 12 weeks to go I began following this app as directed Loved the flexibility of moving training days and level around as needed Bottom line I finished really strong and felt great the whole way through the app prepares you well                 It works

This app has been quite helpful in preparing for my first sprint triathlon It is super easy to follow and gives great tips It would be even better if the user could change the workouts within a weeksay exchange bike for a run I am sure it is set up for a reason so not a big deal there It would also be nice to add workout notes about your performance on a particular day Overall an awesome app for the price I should also mention I had a question and emailed the developershe was fast and answered my question personally              glad i found this app

Love this app Did every workout and was very well prepared for my first triathlon Finished 13th in my age group The app has graphs that chart your progress these were very motivating for me and the workouts were just the right level of challenge I trained for 12 weeks injury free                 Great app
I purchased the first time tri v17 and went through it twice The second time was more of a self competition with my notes and progress from the first go around I did a triathlon last year and thought I had a good plan I was wrong I did the same triathlon this year after using the app for 24 weeks and knocked 20 minutes off of last years time I feel great and am going to go ahead and get the next plan up Thanks for a great app and keep up the good work                 Completely worth it
This app is awesome for training as a beginner It would be great though if there was a way to check off the workouts so you know which ones youve completed              Great app but needs some tweaks
Not sure if Im doing something wrong but of the 48 possible schedules there seem to be no options with bricks on the weekend I want to love this app but the schedulingrescheduling options are limited How about a drag option so users can just move the order of the workouts for the week           Bricks only on weekdays

Just finished my first triathlon and used this as the training guide WONDERFUL APP I felt prepared and confident going into AND finishing the race Many different schedules to choose from which I often needed This app lets you choose which day you want your rest day and each workout Also gives you some helpful hints for everything tri For improvements maybe letting us grab and drag which days we want which workouts would be best Also would love it if a time basis option was added to the swim and a distance basis added to the bike and run portions Thanks                 Wonderful app
This is a great application Very simple clean interface with wellexplained workouts It really does exactly what is says and is great for beginner to intermediate triathletes Some new features not sure if these are allowed by apple would be a link to the nike plus workouts for the runs the ability to buy other workouts from the app longer distances more advanced training and finally a desktop version to sync to and keep track of things                 Excellent app does just what it says

I was under the impression you could pick distances each time you do a new distance its the first time I feel it should say training for Sprint distance I wasted 699 and had to buy the other Good program just not for me           First Tri

This app has been really great helping me train for my first triathlon I feel I will be more than ready for my first tri at the end of June I too have had issues with swapping the swim workout on days when I can get to the pool but it hasnt been a huge issue I usually just do the bike and enter it then go back and put my pool workout in I did tell the developer about it and they are working to add it as a modification in the future Developer is very responsive to suggestions and just released an app for Olympic distances called Triathlon Trainer Cant wait to check it out                 Great for a newbie

I recently lost a 140 pounds and ran my first marathon So I decided a triathlon was the next logical step So I bought every book and most every app However this is the one I used as my guide and I finished my first sprint Triathlon in 110 and stopped to fix someone elses flat tire I would recommend this application to any first time triathlete Now for a suggestion it would be nice to be able to select the distance you are competing at and have the works auto adjust This would allow the app to grow with the athlete Also allow you two enter your times and graph your progress This could activated after you finished your firsts sprint so first timers dont get hung up on times Else this app rocks                 Success
I originally negatively reviewed the app before the iOS6 update because it would crash but that has all been fixed now and the app works great                 App now works great
Good for a guide to a sprint tri but could be better Would be nice to be able to input distance as well as minutes for bike and run have a pace be calculated and have some different graphsresults allowing you to see progress at a glance Im by no means an experienced triathlete only done one sprint so far but Im already wanting more functionality           Not bad
I am 45 and completed a sprint triathlon last August with a time of 155 I will spare you the details but its obvious my prep for the race was not structured in a meaningful way As a result of my poor prep I looked for and found the 1st Time Tri app I registered for a second sprint distance race and began the program 3 months out I am very pleased with the results I finished in 138 taking 17 minutes off my earlier time I was able to complete each segment without stopping I think the app certainly delivered in terms of ensuring an individual can comfortably complete each discipline without issue My only criticism would be the ability to shuffle workouts around a bit easier but I believe this is being addressed I wish I had known of this app for my first race but am quite happy to have had it for the second race Well worth the money              2nd time triathlete
I am starting with a Mini Sprint swim 250 yards bike 7 miles and run 2 miles so this doesnt help me yet I should be working on my first real Sprint Tri for beginning of next season so this will be great then              Something To Look Forward To

I enjoy this app because it helps me to see what I need to do next in my training I also like that is has tips and helpful explanations in addition to the pro articles I recommend this app but this it also need some update I think it would be HUGELY helpful if you could move the workouts around to certain days Like maybe a click and drag option or maybe in your profile letting you say what days you swim bike and run and then it can customize it to each persons schedule I do not believe at this point that its worth 999 because its not versatile enough but it has HUGE potential to be GREAT           Update needed GREAT APP

Having been an athlete in high school Id lost that part of my life until I decided to do the Iron Girl Tri last summer I had a year to train and I found that having a plan in front of me everyday gave me a good base to work from It worked too I completed Iron Girl in August and will be taking on a couple Olympic distance events in 2011 The app could be a little more elegant in its interface but functionally its great              Great Motivator
This app was well worth it I am new to the triathlon world so I wanted to be sure I was well prepared for my first one The app was well organized it was nice to view it when i needed to No papers or books to carry with me just my iPhone The tips were also very helpful in my preparation for this event I liked that I was able to input what I completed in order to compare it to what goal I set for myself It sort of held me accountable to what the expectation was to accomplish the actual event Overall I was pleased with the app and will definitely bump it up a notch to the distance Thank you for helping me through this challenging experience I think this will be a part of my life long term Till my next Tri                 1st time Tri
I just completed my first sprint tri using this app as my primary training schedule I really loved this app You can adjust your weekly day off as you go and change the schedule if you need to The only thing that was annoying was that you cant change the workout after the day has passed So if you change your workout last minute make sure you adjust the schedule in the app before the end of that day Definitely recommend this for first time triathletes                 Great training app
