This application requires a MobileMe subscription (60-day free trial available). If you lose your iPhone or iPad while on the go, simply install this free app on any other iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to find it.
Sign in with your member name and password to locate your missing device on a map and have it display a message or play a sound. You can even remotely lock the device to protect your privacy, or wipe it to permanently delete all of your data if you think that it won’t be returned.

I wish the app would link to the specific serial number on the back. My iPad was stolen, but I had this app. The person that took my iPad must have restored it to factory settings within 15 minutes of it being stolen. If it would link to the serial number then the risk factor of it being lost and not returned would be much lower.

My iphone would be at the bottom of a landfill right now without this app! I inadvertently dropped it in the trash woith my popcorn after a movie and didn`t realize it until we got home. The app showed me it hadn`t left the theater. After we didn`t find it on th floor, we thought to try the trash, but there were about 20 bags. The send a tone function helped us find the bag it was in and mad a noise even though it was on silent! I would have been buying a new phone if not for this app. Thanks!

I got my phone taken @ a restaurant. The next day i tracked it to a pawn shop where a guy had sold it. I`M SO HAPPY.
The "Download" link for Find My iPhone 1.4 directs you to the iTunes AppStore, where you have to continue the download process.You must have an iTunes account to download the application. This download link may not be available in some countries.
