If youre a fan of Mass Effect and you want a really great look into the development of the franchise this app is worth the download It has tremendous production values and is formatted well on the iPad There isnt much replay value of courseonce youve read all the content there isnt much else to do Despite that I wholeheartedly recommend the app at 3 This is the type of games journalism that deserves to be supported Kudos to Geoff for putting this out An amazing post mortem

Everything about this is nice But some of the videos will make the app crash when you try to play it Cool but one problem

If you have ever wondered what the games are like inside and out what the devs go through during the whole process of making some of the best games check out the final hours apps they are awesome Great

The text is bit mapped graphics instead of iOS supplied text As such it looks blurry pixelated and horrendous on an iPad 3 It looks fine on an iPad 2 There really is no good reason that the text should be bitmaps We have these magical things called fonts for a reason Poor iPad 3 quality

This is the reason that books are so much cooler on the iPad I read the whole thing in an afternoon and had a great time flipping through all the interactive features this book had Its a great honest look at the development of one of the best game series and game companies ever created Well worth every cent if you are a Mass Effect fan and want to know more about the series They even have alternate scenes in here so you can see how different things played out during development Great job Geoff Cant wait to see what you do in the future with this Final Hours series Fantastic Read

This app has some really interesting content for ME fans Unfortunately is has been formatted for iPad 2 resolution meaning it looks somewhere between mediocre and terrible on the highres iPad 3 both the text and graphics If youre not an iPad 3 user or not planning to upgrade its ok Otherwise avoid Good app terrible graphics

This book takes you on an interactive journey from before BioWare to its genesis and then all the way to Mass Effect 3 While I have thoroughly enjoyed this amazing informative behindthescenes look at Mass Effect it also breaks my heart How could such a great development team with such a neat history design an ending as colossally bad as Mass Effect 3s Well designed very informative

I liked this app before iOS 7 now it wont even load Please update please this app is so awesome for us mass effect fanatics iOS 7
