Been playing this game havent beat it yet but Im pleased to see that some of the DS content that had to be unlocked via mognet is there for the taking without any multiple device nonsense a thing that isnt mentioned is you have to switch the characters around at the top slot to receive different mail Remember that so you dont miss out on some stuff My personal gripe is this game using the previously buyable soundtrack the DS music did have a sort of Midi sound to it but it flowed nicely with the game and IMO is superior to the soundtrack in this game The frame rate in this game is also faster this a plus as it means the game isnt so laggy though it makes the destruction of a boss hard to somewhat savor its a minor thing however Intro cutscene is lost but oh well those cutscenes were made for the dual screens of a DS the graphics of this game do look sub par but this was made for the original DS engine at the time and its received some enhancements for the iOS All in all Good game pretty hard however but I like that Id give five stars if it had at least gave an option to switch to the DS soundtrack              Its solid

I love this game and would give it 5 stars except that every time I get an alert on my phone the game restarts This really is a pain when you have put an hour into a level and are fighting a boss only to have a reminder or other alert pop up and find you are back at the title screen with all progress since last save lost after clearing the alert I have not had this issue with other FF games on my phone Please fix           Fix this please

I payed 17 dollars for this game and received a different game I want what I payed for PLEASE RESOLVE THIS     Help

The opening movie that plays after you unlock the first crystal Only plays the bottom portion of the opening movie I you could fix this and show the actual movie portion I am sure that people dont want to watch the crystal rotate I sure dont I beat the game seven times on different platforms and really dont like watching the crystal rotate So please fix the movie scenes Thank you              Opening movie issue

FFIII now has cloud save like DQ8 My wildest gaming dreams have come true This new feature makes an amazing game now PERFECT The FFIII remake was the first DS game I owned and while I never was able to beat the final boss no saves in the final area made it too irritating I loved every second Then Square Enix did a stellar job of porting that DS game to iOS Now that I can use the same file on my iPad AND iPhone now makes this one of my fave apps Please add this feature to all your games SE Especially The World Ends With You                 Now perfect

I love this one A lot more than the other final fantasy before 3 because of the jobs                 I love it

I purchased the handle that included this game not too long ago This is the iPhone version not the iPad version I am not about to buy another version of this game to play it on the iPad If I had known this I would never have purchased the bundle Their other titles are available on both platforms once you purchase either but not this one Consistency seems to be an issue here If you want this game on the iPad then avoid this bundle     Separate versions are ridiculous

SEs updates are always long overdue which has definitely curbed my enthusiasm for their iOS titles It would be nice to see the remaining SE titles optimized for the latest devices and coded for universal play with iCloud support as well                 6 iOS 83

I played the Nintendo DS version of this game a while back but never finished it so I decided to pick it back up on iOS during a 50 off sale Definitely worth it All of the classic Final Fantasy games are a joy to play so if you catch them on sale dont hesitate and get a few titles You will be glad                 Great game

Just bought this game yesterday and it really is a great game but just so people know this is the Final Fantasy III previously released only in Japan not the classic FFIII released originally on the SNES Again its still worth the buy plenty of hours of gameplay and Square rarely lets down on storylinesat least in the past                 Not the American III

The game is just a port of the DS version so almost no work went into it and the beginning feels very unexplained but it does get better           Good

The game does not display in native wide screen and the resolution is stretched and scaled from 960 x 640 onto the iPhone 6s 1334 x 750 resolution which makes it look ugly Please optimize for the new iPhones     Needs optimization for iPhone 6

Im a huge fan of Final Fantasy and I think III is my favorite in the franchise Ive bought this app twice now lost access to my last iTunes account but I have no regrets buying it again 16 well spent                 Best In the Series

Final fantasy III is amazing RPG to have on iPad or iPhone FF III is a first game that you can change to different jobs like black Mage thief white Mage or a warlock There is lot more jobs to change to this is more similar to FF V even the fore crystals of light You put icloud on this app too thank you square enix to put FF III on apps store I would suggest that you guys should buy this game this is amazing game even other final fantasy series here on apps store Im promise you that this game is amazing                 I am a final fantasy fan even final fantasy III

I have never played a game on a mobile device as fun as this The game had such a long story and it felt like it would never end When the story ended the game wasnt over because I could still try to level everyone up to maximum level and that was fun by itself I cant forget to mention the onion knight I have always been a fan of the onion knight he is like the best character if u level him up At times the game can get really hard but the story is worth it Does anyone else have any recommendations on which final fantasy game I should get next I like how this was 3D and I dont really like the 2D ones                 AMAZING Game

Nearly a year and no updates Nasty multitasking crash bug when trying to resume the game Wish SE would stop being lazy and fix some bugs     Lack of updates

So I just beat this game as a part of my crusade to purchase and beat all FF games on the App Store Thisgameisamasterpiece I LOVE the old school polygonal pixely 64graphics It brings me back to the days of playing Zelda on my N64 Not to mention Quest 64the best turnbased RPG ever for the N64 Needless to say this is without a doubt the most amazing Final Fantasy game Ive ever played By far the best and most enjoyable part of this game is the sophisticated job class system where you can change each party members job class at any time during the game as much as you want with a total of 23 classes becoming available to you throughout the game The boss battles are EPIC and unforgettable Probably the best of all the Final Fantasy games with the final boss being one of the hardest son of a guns Ive ever faced Everything about this game is so incredibly rewarding from beating that tough boss thats been slaughtering you to shreds to the mind blowing story line Its the best 16 bucks you could ever hope to spend in the App Store Next stopFinal Fantasy IV

I have had this up for a while now on my iPhone and the problem that I have occurred was from the future update where they have White Borders now which seems a little distracting while playing the game as well as the D pad virtual D pad that is is a little bit large in my opinion update this so that it fits the iPhone 6 screen and get rid of the white borders tweak the D pad a little bit make it a little bit more less noticeable     Disappointment great game small problems

I never played the Final Fantasy games when I was younger and they first came out stateside On a whim and looking for a way to waste time I downloaded the iOS port of FF I a couple of years ago What a great game And I could see why this series has endured for so long FF II built on the first beautifully Recently I downloaded the 3rd installment I really appreciate the shift to 3D the great gameplay fun story tongueincheek humor etc I havent been able to put it down since I downloaded it and thats not something I can say about most games I try out from the App Store The reason Im not giving this a higher review is the fact that the game crashes so frequently In the middle of a huge battle and get a phone call Buhbye try again after the game quits to the Home screen and you have to wait through the splash screen and continueload from a point before the battle I see the game was updated in June of 14 to address this sort of thing But quite a lot has happened between then and now including iOS 8 iPhone 66 and so forth I think SquareEnix is a great gamemaking company But they seem to follow what can be considered an old model develop a game and release it into the wild for better or worse Its great theyre occasionally updating games to fix issues and bugs but not nearly frequently enough for the everevolving iOS platform To the best of my knowledge FF I FF II are still letterboxed for preiPhone 5 screens 35 Likewise FF Tactics And I paid over 10 each for these games Yeah the content and quality justify that cost but not SEs seeming lack of attention to their product I still get attention and updates to apps I paid 099 or nothing for years after their original release Sure they are usually but not always nowhere near the complexity and quality of the FF series but Im not left wondering if every update is going to be the last forever stuck in 35 screen 32 bit whatever Please Square Enix continue to show love for your games Youve started to by rereleasing for different platforms but we iOS gamers would love more attention to your ports           Great game annoying glitches

First off I love this game and the control implementation is wonderful That said this game has a few things pushing against it 1 two different versions of the game one for iPad and one for iPhone I purchased the iPhone one because its compatible with both but still thats kinda weak Id rather be able to access full resolution of my iPad instead of scaling it without having to buy the app again Many developers have shown that this is possible 2 price is a bit steep for an iOS app 3 cloud saves I started on my iPad are not being picked up on my iPhone No idea why this is but it is very unfortunate kinda ruins the whole point of mobile gaming considering I want to play on any device any time 3 stars because price for quality is a bit lacking It makes a few promises that it hasnt backed up for me yet           Love the game but has some problems

If you say this game is overpriced or any of the final Fantasys in the AppStore are then you are being a bit extremely ignorant and it infuriates me Compare prices ios version to GBA or DS version I think Square is cutting us some slack to make there remakes this cheap now shut up and enjoy losers                 Il

I love all fantasy games especially the third onethis one of course But theres some awkward glitches Since as winning the battle when they all pose Luneth arm starts shaking awkwardlyand at times its really bothering Other times when Im running in the game the character seems to be running faster then normal that seems weird and awkward Other than that theres no issues with the game Just a bit of things that needs to be fixes Thank you 3                 Im a huge fan of fantasy Every since the first one

This game has had more than its share of bugs but just as Im about to give up on it they release an update I never got the chance to play the original release of FFIII or the NDS port so the price tag on the app didnt seem too steep Like I said there has been a lot of kinks in the works but the developers are still releasing updates to address the issues The game itself is brilliant and hopefully after this most recent update flawless                 5 by 5

Spent 80 hours on this game over the last few months and it was well worth it Possibly my favorite in the FF series apart from Tactics and Square Enix did a great job updating the animations for this iOS version Apart from a minor issue where the game occasionally crashes from phone alerts sitting idle it worked very well Save often and start preparing now to face the Iron Giant                 Great game great port

I may change this if I decide to play this one more time but the first two times Ive played I stepped into a zone where things were too strong for me and I died Quick save didnt save and for some reason nothing saved in my cloud when I saved The inn didnt save either so for now 05 because if you cant keep your progress what is the point     Lost saved game
