Just got this app So far I think its a great way to find tips on how to properly maintain your home All I do is find something that needs improvement at the house search the app and Im off to the hardware store With this new buddy of mine we can get just about anything repaired                 Not Handy

In the latest version there are banner ads at the top of the tip pages These often cover up the x that allows you to go back to the previous list of tips without navigating the menus iPhone 4s iOS 711        Ads in the way

Unless you want to pay the free version is mostly ads for videos you dont have access to Its verrrrrry slow to open because of updates then the vast majority of the videos are grayed out unless you want to pay Compared to The Wood Whisperer for woodworking its very unimpressive     Mostly an ad

I did pay five dollars to get all 1800 tips which is 1500 more than the free version But now that I have all those tips its that much more false entries given to me to look at when using its search engine which is only used to find tips provided within the app itself Like another review I saw Ive had as much frustration created from the same type of results when using the search bar Articlestips that have absolutely nothing to do with what I was looking for and often times those are listed on multiple occasions before the The tip that I am looking for has even showed up once Also I am not sure if this is the apps issue or an Apple iPhone issue or my ATT service provider but nowadays my favorites are not accessible to me only random tips when using the menu to the left It says that they are not accessible at this time I did call The contact number provided in that same menu and they said it was ATT but I havent called them yet over an app for I have other issues with my phone other than this That is very disheartening and discouraging to me since I had probably tens and tens of tips favorited if not hundreds Really the only thing other then the ridiculous search engine and results been improved vastly the only suggestion I might make would be to be able to categorize my favorite tips and thats of course if and when I ever get access to those favorited by me again Now if Im asked if I would ever recommend this app I would say to definitely get the free version because other than MB storage I dont see any downside to getting it Theres a lot of valuable information just in the free tips If youre asking if the pro version for 5 more is worth it U or I probably wont ever use all of the tips which is 1500 more than the free version Do your calculations 1500 more tips for 5 thats A LOT OF TIPS FOR CHEAP that comes out to threethousandths or 13 of a penny or 0003 per tip but like I said you probably wont be using all of them I can pretty much guarantee that and some of them are in the form of DIY goofs as they call it people writing in and sharing their experiences of mistakes Those dont seem as helpful or very helpful at all and maybe thats because Im partial to tips with jigs and diagrams and things that I can put into action relatively quickly if not immediately what not With all that said I hardly ever spend money on apps this being probably one of 5 or 10 that I have spent money on and Ive probably used it more than anything else appwise So my final verdict on it would be to get the pro version ultimately I think its worth it I hope this review helps at least one person           I Love The Info Given But The Search Engine REALLY

Every category offers numerous different jobs trouble is you only get about 2 out of 25 jobs to view the rest you have to pay Not worth the time     Must pay for almost everything

Take a look at this app every day and your DIY knowledge will grow This is chalked full of awesome tips for anyone who wants to save time and money while learning new stuff along the way                 Great app

The bug fix doesnt work Now app wont even load     Homeowner

I searched for work table because their website which offered the app has an example of how to build a light duty work table A lot of results came up that had nothing to do with any type of person table Next I searched table same results I then tried toilet nothing about how to stop a running toilet etc closest thing was how to bucket flush a toilet when its not working If this is the best they can do I wont chance paying for the full app Im uninstalling     Bad Search or Just Not Helpful

That app is great in the free version Great tips However multiple times it freezes and crashes when trying to upgrade to unlock all the features If they could fix it It would be well worth it           Good info but crashes trying to upgrade
