erodr is a location-based social discovery app with strong privacy controls for students on campus
Not enough of a footprint to be useful Requires access to location services to post but the vast majority of posts are anonymous Hard to connect with others on my campus without giving away my entire contact list WhatsApp II They wish Very few participants in SoCal

I really enjoyed this app when there was constant updates I still check it daily but the server seems to crash a little too often for comfort likes are no longer added to your total sometimes I cant connect with people who accept my friend request and occasionally it kicks me off Plus a lot of people lost their anon posts and still havent gotten them back If the owner paid a little more attention to the app then this could go back to its former glory as my favorite social media app Needs work

Erodr is huge at my school so its always clutch for finding something to do Lots of people use it to meet new people with the same common interest which can come in handy if youre new to the college Its great to see how the app is progressing too One thing I wish they would advance about Erodr is that you cant search for people by their name very easily without going through mutual friends of your current connections I love the system of up votes and down votes to eliminate the hate speech and promote the noteworthy post Unfortunately I feel like sometimes it creates conformity for the popular opinion and decreases the ability to have your voice heard if youre on the less popular side of a current issue or public debate Either way Erodr is my favorite social media app and I cant wait for them to expand it to schools everywhere My fav social media app

Its a great concept and they did an awesome job building a community around it But I dont receive any notifications the framework is glitchy you cant sign outsign in and theres no place to contact support or give feedback I dont fully believe theyre even still working on this app which is the only reason I dont plan on keeping it much longer If they pick it up and start work again it could be great Good concept app needs work
I love Erodr and the community that comes wih the app I never thought an app would create such a tight knit community but Erodr has Posts could be an array of things and you can post anonymously which I like that unique aspect It helped me meet so many friends at Mizzou that I wouldnt have known otherwise Despite it toying with my emotions of the threat of it shutting down actually shutting down and then coming back to life I still love it It takes up a lot of storage space in your phone and can be kind of glitchy However despite the last few things I still love the app Im still happy two years later that I downloaded the app Erodr Love Erodr
