It takes rubies for more than half the game If you dont donate rubies and supplies to your alliance you get kicked out I dont have a job because I just graduated from being a full time college student I dont have any extra cash If you dont have money to spend on the game good luck Most people in my alliance spent about 300 a month on rubies and if you cant spend that then they dont really talk to you           No money no fun

When ever i access some of the nomad camp things to buy things with the khan tablets or rubies it freezes my game constantly please fix it                 Wonderful game but there is a glitch

I have played many strategy build games but this one has been the best so far Find an active alliance to join and the more you play the more there is to do You do not have to pay to have fun but it does give you an advantage I played the first 9 months for free but did spend 500 to get bakeries in each castle First game I have ever spent money on I would recommend this to anyone who likes to build but also make some new friends on your team If you leave the game for more than a week your castles will get raidedif you spend 5 minutes a day you can go far fast and it changes with your skill level                 Game doesnt get stale

Indeed its a great time sink The game starts off with plenty of resources to make you feel like your accomplishing a lot in what little time you have to spend in game between meetings flights etc The game centers around time Time to build things time to attack other castle lords and time to recover from attacks Once you get near level 7 10 there are 70 levels the game turns into a good old fashioned Everquest grind You spend hours waiting around for your attaches to occur for construction that once took a few seconds or minutes now takes 3 24 hours But dont fret because a lot of this can be skipped by using ingame purchased rubies For 9900 other options are available for example you can purchase about 50000 rubies and use these to level quicker The problem with the ruby system is that when you do the math achieve the top levels your literally going to shell out 100s if not 1000s of dollars Seriously When completing upper level buildings cost 3500 rubies each well you get the point The concept of this game is very good I do believe that the programmers deserve some pay for their efforts however the cost to results satisfaction ratio is WAY off In short if you have 100s of dollars to paytoplay then this is your new money pit If you continue to play free then expect to hit mid level in about a year Great potential just too greedy a crew running the game UPDATE If the game has some kind of problem with your rubies dont expect any help Extremely deceptive marketing tactics are used in this game You ha been warned     Money Pit
