The EM:RAP is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is available in multiple languages: English, German, Northern Sami, Spanish. It weighs in at only 16.5 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.0 has been released on 2014-02-04. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. The big problem with this app is the playback It often forgets where it last stopped and rarely resumes at the correct spot It doesn t multitask well If you keep it running in the background and play is interrupted for some reason when you reopen the app it brings you to the homepage not what s currently playing It would also be nice if the 15 second forward and back buttons were integrated into the control center of iOS like Overcast does Just study Overcast and that s how playback should be Great content and I like the written summaries but certainly lots of room for improvement         Playback issues RKS1986

Excellent show all The app chews up the storage in my iphone and there is no clear way to delete downloaded content As a traveller I m always downloading big chunks on Wifi and then my phone is full if I haven t had a chance to do three months of catch up at once Maybe put a delete all downloaded content option under the account icon drop down Or make swipe left or right on an episode enable deleting downloaded content for that episode My phone if full of pics of my kids hard to choose between them and emrap             Great Content Poor Data Management Wanderbob

Since subscribing to EMRAP I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it on my 45 commute to and from work The only problem I have with the app is that the episodes will not download while I am connected to my wifi network at home so I am always streaming going to and from work This is racking up the data on my phone plan and making it difficult to justify listening to it on my commute Am I the only one with this issue             Love listening to the episodes Bcartm

Updating for latest version After multiple failed attempts I was finally able to log in today though it took over 30 seconds meaning I had to keep the screen from sleeping While the new version lets you play older episodes you cannot sort by year You have to keep scrolling and the lag is so bad that it took a few minutes just to get to 2014 Never mind trying to listen to one from earlier As for playing the latest the new app still works well at this though the maker seems to forget that the value of this podcast is not just the latest one but past ones which are hard to access             Great Podcast okay app hazmat2
