Good potbetial but I have a suggestion Writing the actual formula definition under the formulas definition section So for ohms law wright VIR Of for the power calculator PIV Makes its easier to understand the calculator because some of the calculators are coming up with abscure answers like the conduit calculator It will make it easier for people to diagnose mistakes           Idea

I have used this app many times on the job Very useful              Very good app

Lots of conversions some like Kva to Kw and rating full loads are wrong but the others i have looked at are correct Would like to see the ability to save categories and subcategories as favorites just to keep the favorites screen less busy if you have a lot of them Would also like to see a user defined section that you could enter your own values into Ie Kw Btu Tons in one calculation for example Overall pretty handy           Not bad Worth getting

Think twice before you spend money on this app Not only are the ergonomics terrible but the contents are practically worthless The formulas for wire sizes voltage drop etc have little practical value as they are presented The answers for most of the problems are in circular mils and you have to go to a chart to find the closest AWG wire size One formula for Wire Size has you Enter the length in feet or meters and then does not ask you which one you entered Then it says Enter the Voltage Drop and gives no units Do you enter actual volts or percent drop The answer is given in circular mils to FIVE 5 decimal places What earthly use is that You have to go to the chart for an AWG wire size This app might be of some use in teaching a student who know absolutely nothing about electricity if it were used in a classroom environment where there was an instructor to explain what the numbers meant But in my opinion it is of NO use at all to someone who knows what the formulas mean and just needs something to crunch the numbers out I have wasted 699     Entire App Needs Work

Thought it would be better The conduit sizing calculator for multiple conductors is weird Did a test calculation an came up with size 108 conduit Been at this 15 years and I dont have a bender for that Lmao     Journeyman Electrician

VERY disappointed Tables are just copies of code tables Do not work well with IPOD Touch Finding correct xy locations is almost impossible Graphics do not respond well to screen touch Dont need wire sizes in CM need standard answers AWG or MCM Suggest you concentrate on ease of use rather than massive content        Engrs opinion

Could use an easier to navigate UI and full NEC           One of the best Electrical apps

The app is half baked really the charts are ok but the rest of this app is quite useless        Really weak

I purchased item today After purchase I learned it is 2008 code not 2011 Will info be updated Also browsing through program noted several misspellings Not a huge issue but got me thinking if those were missed what else formula wise is incorrect Lots of helpful stuff however I will reserve full rating until some issues are addressed           Update

I purchased this app and immediately had problems I contacted customer service by email twice and never received a response Do not waste you time or money on this because it is useless     Ripoff

40 years in the electrical field looking for something quicker and easier than the NEC Book I found this somewhat weak If this was a 99 APP it wouldnt be bad but this cost me a lot more The idea is right but it needs quite a bit of work Hopefully it will get better        Electrical Pro

If you are an Electrical Inspector Plans Examiner or an Electrician this is a MUST HAVE This is great when you are out in the field making inspections much easier than trying to carry the NEC in your pocket Some of the Electricians out in the field that I showed this App to thought it would be great to get an iPhone just so they could have this app with them                 Must Have For All In Electrical Trade

IBEW local 363 electrician This product is great Contains many useful calulators and charts Code book section is great can wait to see the full code on a phone Only thing I would like for the code is possibly a way to seach contents within sections just like the index instead of just titles Also maybe including section numbers in the begining of the titles so you have the option to look through by title or by section number Overall great app and cant wait to see what new things come out People complain about update process Just remember people the nec is a huge book so have patience this is the first app to attempt this                 Union electrician

Are you planning on issuing any more updates as promised Ive had this app for about 6 months and its no where near having the complete code as promised Whats here is nice to have though far from complete           Updates

Was this app written by one of the salespeople in the electrical department at home depot The knowledge of electrical is slim to none I can copy charts from the NEC and BS my way through color coding The time it takes for the formulas is slow and basic The price is low but you get what you pay for I rate it 1 star for trying     Basic

The charts are awkward to view and use Some of the calculaters are almost worthless But there are enough useful items in it where I figure I got my moneys worth After all an electrical code book DOES cost about ten times more than this app does Ya get what ya pay for     Considering the price its merely OK

Bought this App to do a quick load calc in the field but it does not have the option for that service feeder sizing Also needs more code reference in it     Not what I expected

Just got the app and tested the cost calk It is wrong For example I pit in 1kw for 1hr at 1 per kwh just to test it and it told me 30 I want a refund if this app cant do simple math correct I will not trust it for any use The app store needs a refund system this is not ok     I want a refund
