What an excellent app Feature rich and sounds great This is a definite must have instrument if you own an iPhone Impressive all around Interface sound quality features Its hard to ask for more I love the randomizing functions too This is a gem and Ive only spent a little time with it so far Its very easy to get a grasp on it in literally 2 or 3 minutes if youre already familiar with drum machines and drum synthesis Very well executed Looking forward to the updates                 Brilliant

You could spend a couple house setting up automations and lfos in Abletonmax or accomplish the same thing in minutes with surprising results in Elastic Drums This along with Audulus has formed the basis of my on the go setup Hours and hours of non stop tweakery Just a thought It would be great to set the patterns to play a certain amount of times before moving on in song mode                 Best drum app

Not sure what the triangle button does next to the record menu Fx xy pad doesnt work on iPad mini either Would like to see these fixed and perhaps a universal version           A bit confusing

Love this app and its well worth the money but you cant email the loops to your friends If you could do that this app would be amazing              Want to email loops to friends

I have been waiting for an App Store version of the Nintendo Korg DS10 I was losing hope but then I got Elastic Drums Obviously not a direct port but really the same idea 6 synths editable with xy pads for effects etc It doesnt sound like a DS10 but it has the same level of fun and exploration of sound If you like that sort of thing                 Best Drum Synth app

Elastic Drums ED will breathe new beats into your music especially now that it has MIDI support The randomization of the rhythms and instrumentation is inspiring and fun The sequencer is a breeze to use and the possibilities are endless I love that ED is formatted for iPad as well The additional real state provides faster realtime results Hats off to the dev for the quick layout fix as my iPad 2 is still running on iOS 7 I highly recommend this app                 Now with MIDI

It doesnt work properly even alone on Audiobus please Needs an update     Doesnt work on iPad 3

I create a song Save as preset And try to record it into GarageBand via audiobus song does not playback properly as I programmed it Broken Please fix        Fun but broken with audiobus

Like this app a good deal Has a good workflow for a handheld The recording options are various as well so you can send templates or audio and record the template straight or with live expert knob twiddling                 Simple workflow gets you right in to beat making

So glad to see the iPad support A real gem here Probably the best synth drum machine on ios IMO There are tons of sample based drum machines on ios but only a handful of synth based apps You can really dial in your sounds and get creative here A musthave                 Hidden Gem

Very cool looking UI and even better sound It is like having a poor mans MachineDrum or MonoMachine from Elektron in my pocket Elastic Drums gives you six independent drum synths Each synth can be triggered using a 16 step sequencer The cool part is that up to 12 parameters pitch effects panning grain synth effect etc can be adjusted and saved per step in a sequence via automation The creative potential is inspiring and very deep as a result Sound quality is really good and it is Audiobus compatible Moreover you can chain patterns with automation in tact to create entire drum tracks Just like Elektron stuff the program is a little confusing at first But like the hardware it is imitating exploration is generally rewarded with high quality results Good stuff                 Elektron Flavor

I have worked with various Elektron products and longed to own them However Elastic Drums came out and I will put my Elektron money into practical things These percussion sounds are incredible the randomized is brilliant each sequence channel can be a different length the automation is simple People say the phrase game changer a lot without considering what theyre saying But Im saying this Elastic Drums is a game changer                 The best synthetic drum machine

Ive tried just about every drum app there is and none of them can do everything that this thing does effortlessly The automation is simple to use and just crazy It is a pleasure to use Recent news says it will be a universal app with next update I would expect no less from the wonderful MoM Get it now                 The Best

I have really enjoyed this drum beat application a lot so far I find it great to lay down any beat that is stuck in my head during the day But I have also found that it really inspires me to create all sorts of crazy new grooves Getting to know my way around the application didnt take long at all though I did not understand how to use the Velocity function right off the bat But I believe that this drum app is very userfriendly and anyone from a novice to a professional would be able to get acclimated to the application pretty quickly By default you get a pretty sizable and decent quality selection of Kick Snare Clap HiHat Cymbal Wobble Grain FM and other preset samples to help construct your beat with I thought I do hope that the developer of this app will please add new samples in future updates please As I said though I believe the quality of what is already included in the app is actually pretty darn good One thing that I would please like to see added also is a way for the user to save their beats please Maybe this feature already exists If so well I just cannot find where it is I do really appreciate that the app allows me to record and export my projects to Audioshare if you dont already have this killer application I highly recommend that you check it out Though a general Open In function would be much appreciated as well please thank you So in conclusion I just think that this is an easy to use and robust drum application and I highly recommend it to all professional and aspiring musicians Plus at this price I find it to be quite the sweet deal Many thanks to the developer for all of the time and hard work that you no doubt have put into crafting and maintaining this superb application Thanks again and God bless iPad Air 2 iOS 83 iPhone 6 Plus iOS 83                 Incredibly Useful Drum Sequencer

This is a really surprising powerful instrument for electronic music creation The voices are capable of sounding big and complex the effects are beautiful and the automation makes everything live and breathe in ways that either arent possible or dont sound as interesting using other tools If we just look at the features lots of people have made software that does similar things on paper but it takes great taste and a deep understanding and love of electronic music to realize something like this                 Powerful voices FX automation super fun

This immediately became one of my favorite apps Dynamic and fun to use Reminds me a bit of elektron Machinedrum Highly recommended                 Favorite drum app

This is really fantastic piece of work the drums sound great and can be tweaked to your hearts desire the sequencer is expressive KAOSSstyle control over some lovely effects All of the features Id expect in a shweet drum machine are here musthave maybe the best app of 2014                 FAB drum machine

I love Elastic Drums I have an Elektron Machinedrum at home and this is basically that in your pocket If you love sound design and weird percussion this may be the one for you                 Best iOS Drum Machine out there

Extra star for being a responsive proactive dev I am absolutely loving this drum synth sequencer The sound sculpting capabilities are much deeper than your average drum synth and the automation tools open many possibilities                 Really Nice on iPad

This app has potential to be amazing There are a few bugs to iron out with MIDI sync some parameters not working but once those are resolved it will be a killer drum app As is it still sounds great           25 stars

This by far the best drum machine Its so easy to make an interesting beat The downside is all the installed presets I wish I could remove them Seriously this is so easy my kids could make something as good as the presets on this Enjoy                 So good it makes the presets annoying

Ive been using the great DM1 as a scratchpad for a while now but ElasticDrums is packed with everything including great automation and individual instrument control Its just a great fast app thats perfect for me to put down more detail into an idea when it hits me so Im at least a little less likely to later say what was that supposed to be                 Wow my new scratchpad

Elastic Drums is very accessible yet deceptively powerful You get 6 instruments and load of presets to get you started These can be anything from a snare to a kick drum to even a bass note or stab The interface makes it easy to preview sounds as you tweak them with easytofind parameters You can lay things out in the sequencer and export wav files to AudioShare email etc But the real fun of this app comes in the effects and automation You can apply effects to individual instruments or master effects like freezing and filter sweeps Theres even a pretty useful randomization feature for inspiration A few key features including AudioBus and IAA plus a true iPad version are missing at launch but I still give it 5 stars because the features are promised in the near future and the app is very promising Similar to SeekBeats in terms of sound design but I think this one will end up being more accessible                 Terrific Drum SynthSequencer

Best drum synth app available for iOS                 Excellent Drum Synth App

This is pretty much everything I could ask for in a drum machine excellent algorithms great master effects easy to pick up and play You can really make a whole track here and it sounds as good as or better than a number of desktop plugins                 Brilliant fun and sound great

my favorite thing to do is hit randomize everything and record the output into ableton live                 this thing is awesome

Man this app had been taking my TIME because the sonic possibilities are quite unique and awesome IMHO After reading a review referring to this as an Elektron Machinedrum in my pocket I was already downloading This thing is completely awesome and just the example patchesbeats that come with it show it Automation of nearly all patch parameters and assignable velocity to get some SWEET sonic results make me prior to this update rate this a FREEKIN DOPE DRUM MACHINE APP I use the heck outta it on my iPad Air and often when there is a lull in my life making some sorta rhythmicbeat likedrumish sequences nearly WAYY TO MUCH get it                 Sick sick app

I love a good drum machine app but they all are too infrequent Lately there have been some worthy new additions This is one of them I resisted this for awhile until the app went universal and tried it out I was not really expecting anything interesting but within minutes made one of the best beats I had produced in a good long while Finding a good iOS drum synth has been a problem for awhile the ones with good sound seem to suffer from various user interface clunkiness and the ones that offer smoother interfaces unfortunately just all sound predictable and uninspiring This one sounded great before even getting to the extremely fun and impressive FX panel the quality of which is not exceeded in any other mobile app If this doesnt change your perspective on mobile drum synthesis then nothing so far released will                 Exceptionally awesome

I love this thing Deep but simple and intuitive enough to suit a phone I might be missing something but I cant seem to be able to copy segments from one screen to the next like segment 21 to 22 Scrolling down closes the copy option Thats the only issue Ive had Fun and useful                 Wonderful

if you put all apps together who claim they are drum machine for iOS they are not as good as this Period because truly allows you to shape your beats and sounds plus will gives huge add on with all kind of effects There is some things i would redesign add or change If you have all other drum machines in collection do not think you have it all this is the one you are missing for sure Very nice update for ipad and iphone Happy to meet another developer who is thinking and working hard and deliver amazing product                 Da BEST thing for iOS

Very interesting powerful inspiring The automation and FX are top notch Synthesized sounds allow for a high degree of customization and then you can automate parameters to get REALLY vibey unique beats Not the best tool if youre looking for realistic acoustic drums but VERY strong for original flavors from minimalist to dense and complex Fully automateable effects four simultaneously Cant wait for next release                 Powerful Inspiring Fun

Alot of apps take a while to get your head around Elastic Drums has an amazingly well laid out and simple interface but with ability to create amazingly complex and layered tracks The synth engine under this is great and though it is titled as a drum synth with the effects layers pitchable sounds and recordable automation of almost every parameter and effects it is capable of basses melodic sounds and tuned atmospheric sounds as well Great for deep sounding edmidm and even glitchy ambient The randomizer for sound creation is great and allows you to really tailor your own kits and sound Overall an amazing app looking forward to seeing how this develops further with updates                 Unique and Intuitive
